RESEARCHERS from Alabel National Science High School brought home a
silver medal from the International Sustainable World Energy,
Engineering and Environment Project Olympiad (I-SWEEEP) 2012 on May
3-6, 2012 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston,

SCHOOL year 2012-2013 marks the beginning of the implementation of
the K-12 curriculum in public schools. That means, Kindergarten is

ONCE AGAIN, Alabel
National Science High School researchers did Region XII and
Sarangani Province proud with their recent feat at the
National Science Quest, bringing home a Championship trophy and
three other victories. The team composed of Sergia Virginia
Gepitulan, Jewelle Mae Solijon, and Angelica Tumbocon was adjudged
Champion in the ASEP (Association of Science Educators in the

IN THIS year’s Mindanao State University’s Scholastic Aptitude
and Scholarship Exam (MSU-SASE), six students of Alabel National
Science High School made it to the top 20. The topnotch students
are: Jan Kristia Bacerra (14th), Jewelle Mae
Solijon (17th), Ruhel John
Besinga (18th), Wilfred Laurence
Labuson (18th), Daniel Joh Florence delos
Reyes (19th), and Franz RJ Lumantas (20th). The list
includes all the students who took the MSU-SASE for the whole MSU

THE DIVISION of Sarangani implements this process for the
periodical exams: The division supervisors prepare the exam. The
school principal (or a representative) secures a soft copy of the
exam from the division office. The school reproduces the exam. The
teacher administers the exam. As you can see, this process
simplifies the work of the subject teacher. He doesn’t have to

WITH YOUR help, Alabel Central Elementary
School can win 80 laptops through the e.Studyante Program, a
partnership between Procter & Gamble, Smart Communications, and
Synergeia Foundation. The e.Studyante Program recognizes the
importance of computer-aided instruction in helping our pupils
learn better. This year, Procter & Gable will give away 400
laptops with internet connection powered by Smart

ALABEL NATIONAL Science High School, the Regional Science High
School for Region XII announces the qualifiers to the Second Phase
of the ANSHS Entrance Exam for School Year 2012-2013. The First

IF THERE is one thing I have always love
about teaching at a Regional Science High School is the vast
opportunity for teacher training, especially those that are
sponsored or organized by the Department of Science and Technology
or by the University of the Philippines National Institute for
Science and Mathematics Education Development exclusively for RSHS
