The Shocking Truth About South African Police With Real Pictures

Here is some shocking pictures of the South African Police in their prime and glory. I do not understand how this can continue to go on and nothing is done about it. I mean do people have no integrity anymore in the work they do?

It is a real pity if you ask me. I am not judging anyone here but reality bites and I pray that God’s righteousness prevails.

5 Bible Verses On Faith – Faith in God Not Yourself!

FaithinGodNotOneself-BibleVersesonFaith

Faith in God Always Win

The past 3 weeks I had a personal ordeal when it comes to faith and if there is such a thing as faith in yourself. I will be going through what the bible says about faith. If you are a serious Christian, then you will read this article and even memorise some of the scriptures for future reference. O and of course above all do not just read it, but live it. I will also include Bible verses on faith to prove my points.

Why do people think they should have faith in themselves? If this was true and all we had to do is have faith in ourselves, then there would be no need for God. The Bible is very clear on the fact that only through Faith in Jesus Christ are we able to succeed in anything.

One can only have so much success in one’s own strength before it all tumbles down. One can stop smoking through your own will power, but how long do you think that will last? I can answer you, “not very long in deed!”. OK but enough of my words lets dwell into His WORD:

5 Bible Verses on Faith – The Truth and Facts

  • Philippians 4:13I can do all things through Christwho strengthens me. [It does not say I can do all things through me that strengthens me]
  • Matthew 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”. [OK so when we look at the Greek word for "little faith" G3640 it means of little faith. From oligos and pistis; incredulous, i.e. Lacking confidence (in Christ) -- of little faith. Yes people Peter lacked confidence in Christ, he lost faith in Christ. Rob Bell will say Peter doubted himself and Jesus has faith in us, I say rubbish as you can see in the scripture for yourself]
  • Mark 11:22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. [Yes Faith in God, Not Faith in yourself]
  • John 15:4-5 (4)Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. (5) “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. [I would like to point out verse 5 where Jesus clearly says for without Me you can do nothing.]
  • Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. [Yes so if you want more faith, spend more time in His Word(THE BIBLE)]

Faith In God Not Faith In Yourself – GodsBoy

I really do hope you all understand and see the truth why we can not believe or say “I believe in myself, I must have faith in myself, Just believe in yourself or Have faith in yourself”. These Bible verses on Faith alone proves what the truth is.

If you say the words out loud like “I believe in myself”, then that is what you mean. You can not make excuses and say I know it’s in God I must have faith, but it is OK to say “I have faith in myself”. Your words are heard by others, God and the devil alike.

I would love to hear any questions or comments any of you might have pertaining this subject, just scroll down and leave a comment. Please read the Bible verses on Faith before you comment or ask questions.

Teenage drink and drug abuse linked to brain ‘wiring’

One key breakthrough showed diminished activity in a network involving an area known as the orbitofrontal cortex which is involved in decision making was linked with experimentation with alcohol, cigarettes and illegal drugs in early adolescence.

Co author Dr Robert Whelan said “these networks are not working as well for some kids as for others,” making them more impulsive.

Prof Garavan said faced with a choice about smoking or drinking, the 14 year old with a less functional impulse-regulating network will be more likely to say, “‘yeah, gimme, gimme, gimme!’, and this other kid is saying, ‘no, I’m not going to do that.’”

He said testing for lower function in this and other brain networks could one day be used by researchers as “a risk factor or biomarker for potential drug use.”

The researchers were also able to show other newly discovered networks are connected with the symptoms of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). These are distinct from those associated with early drug use.

In recent years, there has been controversy and extensive media attention about the possible connection between ADHD and drug abuse. Both ADHD and early drug use are associated with poor inhibitory control – they are problems that plague impulsive people.

But the new research shows these apparently related problems are regulated by different networks in the brain – even though both groups of teens can score poorly on tests of their “stop-signal reaction time,” a standard measure of overall inhibitory control used in studies such as this.

This strengthens the idea that the risks of ADHD and drug abuse are not necessarily associated, as recent research suggests.

The connected impulsivity networks revealed by increased blood flow begin to paint a more distinct portrait of the neurobiology underlying the patchwork of attributes and behaviours psychologists call impulsivity.

They also shed light on the capacity to put brakes on these impulses, a set of skills sometimes called inhibitory control.

Addiction expert Prof Edythe London, of the University of California, Los Angeles, who was not part of the study, described it as “outstanding.”

She said the work “substantially advances our understanding of the neural circuitry that governs inhibitory control in the adolescent brain.”

Using a complex mathematical formula, the researchers were able to fish out seven networks involved when impulses were successfully inhibited and six others when inhibition failed.

Dr Whelan said these networks “lit up” when participants were asked to perform a repetitive task involving pushing a button on a keyboard, but were then able to successfully stop – or inhibit – the act in mid-flow. Those with better inhibitory control were able to succeed faster.

But the underlying networks behind these tasks could not have been detectable in a typical scanner study of about sixteen or twenty people.

Dr Whelan said: “This study was orders of magnitude bigger, which lets us overcome much of the randomness and noise – and find the brain regions that actually vary together.”

The researchers said that teenagers push against boundaries, and sometimes take risks, is as predictable as the sunrise. It happens in all cultures and even across all mammal species. Adolescence is a time to test limits and develop independence.

But death among teenagers in the industrialised world is largely caused by preventable or self-inflicted accidents launched by impulsive risky behaviours, and often associated with alcohol and drug use.

Additionally, “addiction in the western world is our number one health problem,” said Prof Garavan. He said: “Think about alcohol, cigarettes or harder drugs and all the consequences that has in society for people’s health.”

Understanding brain networks that put some teenagers at higher risk for starting to use them could have large implications for public health.

Added Prof Garavan: “The take-home message is that impulsivity can be decomposed, broken down into different brain regions, and the functioning of one region is related to ADHD symptoms, while the functioning of other regions is related to drug use.”

ENDS

Utter nonsense I tell you. Abuse is a sin as per Gal 5:20 Witchcraft that means Pharmacia (drugs and potions). Doctors would love you to believe that you are born this way so they can make more money selling their prescription drugs. Only God can truly set you free from addiction.

The Truth About Demi Lovato Abusing Drugs – Another Celebrity Bites The Dust

Hey Demi has also bitten the dust, yes another celebrity caught up in drug abuse. Is this any surprise? And why is it such a big story every time a celebrity falls to addiction? What about the children, the teenagers and young girls made forced into sexual slavery?

There is so many young girls fooled into addiction and then eventually brought onto heroin addiction. I just pray we keep up the good fight and I fully believe Jesus is busy with something big.

646C I am glad she is talking about it and admitting she has a problem. But it takes more bravery to stop the habit and get the right kind of counselling and help. Now she needs to call out to God for help and do whatever He tells her to do.

“What I can say is that I was depressed. I would come off stage in front of 18,000 people and suddenly be alone in a hotel room. I’d come crashing down and would try to find a way to recreate that feeling, to stay ‘up,’” she explained….

As you can see she felt alone. So then if she had a relationship with God, she could not feel alone and would not need people around her to fill that empty void inside her. Only God can fill this void, no drugs will ever be able to fill that hole.

Prescription drug abuse bill wins final passage | WSLS 10

FRANKFORT, Ky. –

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) Kentucky lawmakers have passed a measure that’s intended to curb prescription drug abuse in a state where more people are dying from overdoses than car wrecks.

A compromise passed by the House and Senate would require all physicians in the state to use a prescription drug monitoring system so they can more readily spot addicts seeking painkillers.

The measure passed the House 68-19 and the Senate 26-11 on Friday, just before lawmakers concluded a five-day special legislative session.

The House had pressed to give the attorney general control of the monitoring system so investigators could more easily identify and arrest unscrupulous doctors who overprescribe painkillers. In a compromise, that system was left in the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services.

___

The legislation is House Bill 1.

I am glad to see America is doing what needs done about prescription drug abuse, hopefully South Africa will also get onto the train soon.

Snow On Tha Bluff – New Movie About Drug Abuse In West Atlanta USA

This latest movie about drug abuse is very eye-opening once again proving the reality behind this crime and how dangerous it really is. Parents have no idea what is going on behind the closed social masking door of their kids.

Snow On Tha Bluff – Teaser Video

From the start of “Snow on tha Bluff,” which runs without any introductory credits, this jolt of a film drops into a you-are-there crime scene: Three college students — one manning a video camera — drive into the Bluff, a run-down neighborhood in West Atlanta (actually, run-down is being kind), looking to buy drugs….

I would say Sunnyside here in Pretoria is even worse than West Atlanta if not scoring even on the golf pitch when it comes to crime, drugs and other endeavours.

If you are a parent remember there is no excuse not to know what your kids are up to, if you suspect something then do something about it, test them or get an expert to do it for you.

I can recall when I was young teenager, the streets of Sunnyside how safe it was. My dad also had a flat there he was leasing out.

Now if you walk there and survive 1km without being robbed, raped or tricked into trying heroin, well then you are lucky or probably to intimidating for them.

My heart really goes out to all the parent who have lost their daughters and sons to streets of Sunnyside and the drug lords that are like weed in a once beautiful rose garden.

The more I come to think about people falling to drug abuse, the more I realise the drugs end abusing the host more than the host the drugs.

Doesn’t this make you think about a paricite? Cause that is exactly how a paricite functions, praying on its host and the paricite is always the most dependant towards the host than the other way around.

If you have kids lost in Sunnyside and truly caught up in addiction, you can join U-CAN now and we will help you save them. God is true and drugs can be beaten!

Drug Abuse Is Not a Accident Its a Choice

I am tired of people saying that drug abuse is an accident, or they did not mean to start using. That is just plain nonsense. Now when it comes to prescription drugs it is same excuse in people's minds.

Here is what is reported by the Bluefield Daily Telegraph today:

“We are finding in southern West Virginia we are hit the hardest in this country,” U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall, D-W.Va., said. “Prescription drug overdose kills more people than vehicle accidents in West Virginia. Up to 80 million innocent kids have at least one parent strung out on prescription drugs. They often find themselves going to school on Monday mornings not to learn their ABCs but to get food because they are so starved over the weekend because their parents spend money on pills rather than food. This does not stop at American’s doorstep. It is wreaking havoc on our job force; it is costing our economy when we need to be more cost conscious. ”…

People need to wake up and take responsibility for their actions, plain and simple. Governments need to wake as well, check this video out below.

I mean come on this is totally ridiculous! I hope you understand that even medicine you think is helping you or you child in some way can end up being a killer and of corse focus of substance abuse.

I fully agree and not just America, but South Africa as well. Please leave comments below and give your view-point if you want.

Migraine Pain and Prescription Drug Abuse | Prescription Drug …

Migraine Pain and Prescription Drug Abuse

MigrainePainandPrescriptionDrugAbuseMigraines are extremely painful headaches that can interfere with someone’s life. They disrupt a person’s ability to work effectively, maintain relationships and enjoy life without fear of pain.

    Migraine Symptoms

Migraines have strong symptoms such as the following:

    • Constipation/diarrhea
    • Irritability
    • Neck stiffness
    • Throbbing pain
    • Extreme sensitivity to light or sound
    • Nausea accompanied by lightheadedness
    • Seeing spots, flashes of light, blurred vision or losing vision completely

These symptoms can last for days. This type of long-lasting pain leads sufferers to doctors in an attempt to find relief. Drugs prescribed for migraine pain are often addictive, and the following are some examples of drugs an individual with migraines may come across:

    • Florinol: This medication is a combination of caffeine, aspirin and butalbital. Side effects of Florinol include stomach issues, nausea, vomiting and drowsiness. Butalbital is highly addictive, and if this medication is combined with alcohol or other drugs, the results can be severe.
    • Benzodiazepines: Benzodiazepine drugs (benzos) are often times prescribed to those suffering from migraines because of their ability to relax muscles and stop the migraine pain. Benzos are highly addictive drugs that can be fatal when combined with alcohol.
    • Percocet: Percocet contains a mixture of oxycodone and acetaminophen. This drug is highly addictive and has great potential to be misused.

Prescription drugs can help migraine sufferers find relief, but they can also lead to long-term substance abuse issues. Users often take these drugs for longer periods of time than recommended, and they may not be aware of the risks involved or of the early warning signs of addiction. When being prescribed a medication for your migraines, make sure you ask as many questions as possible about the drug and its possible effects. Learn how to identify a drug problem and how to prevent one from occurring. If you are already dependent on or addicted to a prescription drug, help is available. Talk to your doctor or addiction professionals and learn about your options for managing pain while ending drug abuse.

Drug Abuse Financial Scandal? South African Families Loosing Millions!

    DrugAbuseMoneyScandalTrust

Ok so many people exploit the drug abuse trade to make money. But there is also people doing work for God and that charge minimum fees to keep their ministries up and running to help more people? This is why it is so difficult not to get stirred up.

Many parents get sucked dry every year by so-called true Christian ministries, and yes SA is loosing billions every year to drug abuse related incidents. Ok so now everyone is sceptical and afraid before trusting any one. So how do you know whether some one is for real and their fees are fair when it comes to drug abuse?

Few Simple Steps To Evaluate Drug Abuse Related Ministry Fees

Just follow the steps below and you will quickly know if some one is trying to scam you out of money, or if they genuine and the money is really needed.

Here is the money craving fake ministry buster steps:

    • Do they ask money before even listening to your story or helping you?
    • Do they need sign-up fees on their websites?
    • Are their fees really ridiculously high?
    • What do they ask fees for, think about it and decide whether it makes sense.
    • Do they ask the fees upfront or do you get billed after counselling and admin is successfully completed?

After you identified if a ministry is after your money or really trying to help you then stick to the right thing to do no matter which way the coin landed. This means if the ministry is doing the right thing and asking money, do not be cheap not paying. Remember we fighting the good fight need people, money and support.

What The Bible Says About Men of God and Getting Paid

    1 Timothy 5:17

    New King James Version (NKJV)

    Honor the Elders

17 Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.

Strongs Dictionary on the word honor:

    G5092
    τιμή
    timē
    tee-may’
From G5099; a value, that is, money paid, or (concretely and collectively) valuables; by analogy esteem (especially of the highest degree), or the dignity itself: – honour, precious, price, some.

I believe that says it all, I wish money was not an object or needed for then I could really help a lot more people out there overcome drug abuse. God bless

Red Bull Mocks Jesus Christ – Thai Co-Founder Dies?

So in recent news from businessweek.com it was reported that Reb Bulls’s co-founder Chaleo Yoovidhya died aged 89. Recently on Black Berry Messenger there has been a wave of broadcast messages about Red Bull’s latest advert where Jesus Christ is clearly made a mockery off.

The Red Bull ad was pulled after the outcry of many Christians in South Africa. Their prayers were answered, thanks to God.

The Video Mocking Jesus From Red Bull

I am not sorry to say but this is full on disrespect and playing with fire. There is no such thing as a lighter side when it comes to a video that is pure blaspheme.

    Galatians 6:7

    Amplified Bible (AMP)

    7) Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked [a]by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and [b]that only is what he will reap.

Am I happy this man died? Am I stating that because of his ad God killed him? No! I am saying God will not be mocked and if one steps out of His will you lose His protection over your life and then bad things happen and the devil steps in and does the damage.

And no I am not judging this man I am merely stipulating the fact if we look at our history and famous people mocking or disrespecting God and what happened to them as well. John Lennon is another example.

I hope people learn a lesson from this and be careful of what they say about our almighty God, Red Bull clearly did not think before making this ad. I hope you all was part of the masses praying against this advert. Leave comments below, would love to hear what you think.
