I’ve had my Step360
for a year and thought I’d update everyone on how it’s performed
in that time. The first and I believe most important point is
that I’m still using it
Unlike a lot of exercise equipment
that I’ve purchased over the years this one is still in use and
has a permanent place in my workout room and I use it once or
twice a week.
Build Quality
Even after a years abuse there are no obvious signs of damage and trust me its had a hard life! My major concern was always that the inflatable chambers would spring a leak requiring constant pumping up but that hasn’t happened sure it does need topping up every month or so but that’s no big deal. Also the rubber mat on the top is looking a bit worn and tired but it hasn’t come off and anyway would be easy to replace.
Effectiveness
After an initial flurry of activity when I’d use it almost every day I now use it maybe twice a week as part of my regular workouts. I like to use it to warm up and get my major cardio workout with it. In the early days I did use the exercise bands but now prefer to do most of my strength training doing body weight exercises as I believe they’re more effective.
I now choreograph my own step class for myself as after a while you will get bored with the supplied DVD’s and it’s very easy to modify any step class designed for a traditional step into one you can use for the Step360 you just need to shorten them and sometimes use slower music.
Over all I think the Step360 has exceeded my expectations and if you want a great cardio workout that’s a lot of fun you need look no further.
Comments
What suprise me is that the take up for this effective piece of at home exercise equipment is so poor. I live in the UK and I know for a fact it still isn’t available here (which is a pity because all my friends and clients that use mine would love to get there hands on one) and uptake in the US is slow. When you consider some of the trashy / useless pieces of exercise equipment that are selling like hot cakes via the Infomercial channels (you know the ones I mean don’t you?) I just can’t understand why more people don’t buy it maybe it’s not gimmicky enough and doesn’t promise you’ll lose 40 lbs in 4 weeks!
Bottom Line
If you want a robust and highly effect piece of cardio equipment that takes up little room and does exactly what it says on the tin take a look at the Step360. If you still believe you can get fit without having to do any work just move on as there’s nothing to see here!

Doesn’t time fly?
I’ve been using the Step360 as part of my regular workout for
about six weeks now so I thought I’d report back and update my
original review.
I liked the Step360 when I first started using it and I have to
say I haven’t changed my mind
Over the last six weeks I’ve slowly
been letting the air out of the chambers and believe me when I
say it makes it a lot more challenging.
Although I quite like the supplied DVD’s I found they quickly became stale so now I put together my own step routines using moves I use in my weekly step class.
I now take the Step360 to class with me every week and use it in place of the traditional step. It’s much harder but has the advantage that I can then easily use the same moves when I’m at home.
It has drawn a lot of interest from instructors and other class members who keep begging me to let them have a go. I can’t even tell them to go buy their own as it’s unavailable in the UK at the moment.
One thing that concerned me with the Step360 and any other piece of at home exercise equipment is it’s durability. I’m pleased to say that after 6 weeks of use it’s as good as the day I got it. I know it’s early days but I believe it’ll last a good while.
Bottom line after 6 weeks is that I’m still delighted with the Step360 and really enjoy using it. It makes my workouts more varied and a lot more fun.

I know the Step360 manual says that you shouldn’t use it with normal step DVD’s but I’m a little crazy and couldn’t think of a good reason not to give it a go.
Today instead of using a normal step in my Tuesday Beginners step class I thought I’d take the Step360 and give it a proper test drive. The Step had both chambers fully inflated so although unstable it wasn’t to wobbly.
The major points that came out of the experience where:
The step instructor and other class participants all had a go and expressed a liking for it and seemed a little hacked off that it wasn’t available in the UK.
I intend to take the Step360 to class every week now and give it a good thrashing. It will also help me decide on its durability although I’ve been using it three times a week for two weeks now and so far so good.
I don’t recommend using the Step360 in a normal step class unless you’re fairly fit and have been doing step for some time.
I have to say I’m beginning to really like this piece of equipment as it’s great fun to use and challenges me a bit more than a traditional step.

Posted by: At Home Workout ReviewsHow Does The Step360 Behave In A Normal Step Class?
When creating videos to review exercise equipment (or anything for that matter) it seems such an easy thing to do you just pick up a camera and start filming right?
Wrong! The first two videos were easy just show the Step360 and a bald bloke jumping up and down on it and that’s it.
What we want to do next is show the Step360 being used by real people (us) while doing some of the workouts on the DVD. That’s when the problems emerge. If we show any part of the included DVD’s either video or music we’d be breaking copyright. Youtube wouldn’t like at nor would Giam.
So back to plan B why not just create our own mini workout showing the Step360 in use? The same problem bites us again. Any music (difficult to workout without suitable music) has to be copyright free else once again we’d be in danger of being done for breach of copyright.
Finding music we can embed in a Youtube video has proven
difficult. All the music we’ve found so far has been around $60 –
$100! We’ll probably bite the bullet and purchase something but I
have to say it stings a bit

Bob and I have been using the Step360 for a couple of days now and I have to say to say we’re pretty pleased with it. If you’re used to a traditional step then there are some differences you need to bear in mind when using the Step360 and we cover the major points in this video.

Before purchasing
anything I usually like to try it before I buy it. The problem is
when buying anything on the Internet you can’t try it out first
so how do you know it’ll be suitable for you?
With that in mind I’m in the process of making a series of videos on the Step360. These videos will show real people (Carol & Bob) AKA Fatty and the Elephant using the Step360.
Now these videos won’t be pretty tarted up versions with super skinny models hopping lightly on and off the step. No it’ll be us pounding, panting and sweating in an attempt to give you a real feel for what the Step360 can and can’t do and to point out what we like and don’t like about it.
So assuming you’re not easily frightened take a look at the following videos and see what you think. If you have any comments or questions please feel free to use the comments section below. I read all of them and will try to answer any questions you may have.
Video One – What’s In The Step360 Box
A quick look at what you get when you buy the Step360 – It’s like
Christmas has come early
Video Two – What Can You Do With The Step
360
A quick run through of what you can do with the Step360, what
makes it different to a normal step, how to use other equipment
like a fit ball and exercise bands while using the step and some
tips on how to use it safely.

I love it
when parcels arrive and I’ve been waiting for this one for over
two weeks. At last our Step360 has arrived and I can’t wait to
take a peek.
This short video is just to show you what you get in the box. If you’re anything like me before you buy something on-line you like to know exactly what you are and aren’t getting. Well this video will reveal all even the laundry stacked in the corner!
We aren’t the greatest video makers in the world and this video was shot using a Flip video camera that’s over 2 years old so the quality might not be the greatest but I’m sure it’ll be good enough so you can get the basic idea.
As and when we get the time “Fatty & The Elephant” (guess who’s who) will produce a whole serries of videos about the Step360 detailing both the good and the bad (hopefully not to many of those) and we’ll show real people (us) not skinny models using this equipment.
