I'm with Barclay's and when I got a student loan they gave me a £200 interest free overdraft but that can (or so I thought) get extended up to £2000 interest free. I have never asked for this before and I only asking now because i can't get a job (I have not stopped hunting) but I don't understand, I know loads of student who are -2000£ without jobs who go and blow all their money on booze and the banks still allow them to extend their ODs.
