The expo runs from 930 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Cleveland Chiropractic College Campus, 590 N. Vermont at Vermont and the 101 Freeway. p13pWith childhood illnesses skyrocketing at an alarming rate and with prescription drug use and surgeries at an all time high, parents are looking for conservative and healthy solutions to todays health problems, said Heidi von Nacher, Cleveland Chiropractic College student and Pediatrics Club Vice President. We see this event as a way to connect parents and their children with health and wellness providers in one convenient location.p13pA variety of topics will be presented by pediatricians, chiropractors, yoga instructors and others, all with the common purpose of educating parents about a healthy and balanced approach to raising their children.p13pThis health fair also serves to inform to the general population on chiropractics role beyond sore backs and necks, said Dr. Glenn Johnson, Professor in Chiropractic and Diagnostic Sciences for the Cleveland Chiropractic College.
