Summary: Research On Obesity Weight Loss Information
Health Fitness Information For Obese And Overweight People
By Greg Garner There is a great difference between being overweight
and being obese. Everyone, male or female, would love to have a
perfect figure, but one’s body shape depends on so many things.
Chief among the reasons for one not having a perfect figure is
genetics, which means that we inherit certain physical features
from both of our paternal and maternal parents and their families –
which is precisely why every human being is an individual – but it
also means that we cannot choose to be tall and slender if
genetically we come from families of shorties who tend to be a
little rotund! In the United States of the 21st century, obesity is
described as being a raging epidemic. Statistics show that 17% of
children in America between the ages of six and nineteen are either
overweight or obese

By Nicholas Bowen The world is changing at a fast pace and to keep
up with this pace, we tend to adopt several unhealthy lifestyle
habits and this can have many adverse consequences on our health.
Being overweight is one problem that is related largely to the
unhealthy lifestyle that we lead and our unhealthy eating habits
and lack of exercise aggravates the situation.

By S-Guptha While there are many different types of solutions
available for dealing with obesity, it cannot be denied that
various obesity surgeries are becoming firm favorites with more and
more people. If you are skeptical about this, or are unfamiliar
with the term obesity surgery, you might instead want to cast your
mind to the words, weight loss surgery. That would have rung a bell
right?

By S-Guptha There are many types of obesity surgery around these
days, and although each one might seem the same, they are in fact
different. Each type of obesity surgery employs different types of
procedures, and each has a different, if similar, types of after
care as well. For the person who is obese and looking to get help
with their problem, they will find that there are many different
types of solutions available to them, not just obesity surgery.

By S. Michael Windsor There is an obesity problem that exists today
not only in many of our children, as well as many adults, but also
in our pets. As many families see their pet as a member of the
family and ‘spoil’ them accordingly, research shows that this is
actually hurting them in many cases. Pet obesity, just like obesity
in humans causes higher risk of diseases as well as shortened
lives.

By Steven A Johnson Most everyone knows that the main issue facing
the health of Americans is obesity. It is true; more than half of
the nation's men, women, and children are obese. With this many
people carrying around forty or more extra pounds, the risks to
their health are staggering. The good news, though, is that
changing eating habits and focusing on nutrition for life, not just
for a few weeks of dieting, can dramatically improve the health.

By Nicholas Bowen It is a well-known fact that eating right and
exercising regularly can help you shed those ugly bulges that are
protruding from every part of your body and especially stomach.
Then think once more as dieting and working out are loosing its
sheen and people are opting for shortcuts to loose weight.
Moreover, stomach surgery is one such option that is gaining
popularity with people of all age groups. Well, a stomach surgery
is good for people who suffer from morbid obesity. Stomach surgery
or lap band surgery is quite popular with people, as it provides a
quick fix to weight problems and lets you execute your normal tasks
easily that were impossible earlier because of the body weight.

By Nick A. James If you’re like me, when you go out in public
you’re probably noticing that kids are getting fatter and fatter.
It can be a tense subject, but there is no denying that the size of
America’s children has been steadily growing in recent years, and
this trend has dangerous implications on these children’s health.

By George Godoy Sitting in front of a screen sipping sugary drinks
and eating fatty foods is a daily fact of life for most American
kids. The prevalence of overweight and obese children has increased
from 15% in 1971 to more than 30% in 2000. Western diets are oozing
with more fat and sugar than ever before, while children are
becoming more complacent and getting less physical exercise by
sitting in front of computers all day, and in front of TV sets at
night. These activities, along with the lack of physical exercise
programs in our schools, are not providing the energy that a
child's body requires to burn off calorie intake
