Summary: Squidoodling - Make Money With Squidoo
Follow along with me in my quest to make money with Squidoo and hopefully help you to do the same!
If you’ve been Squidoodling for any length of time you know that
getting
backlinks to your Squidoo Lenses is very important
for getting them higher on search engines like Google and
bringing in more traffic. Well today I’m going to tell you how
can get 25 quality backlinks a day for
FREE.
The place to go is
SocialMonkee, not only will you get 25 free
backlinks, you’ll get them on autopilot. All you will have to do
once you signup is enter some information about your lens, push a
button and SocialMonkee is off posting your link to 25 high
quality sites.
This video can explain it better then I can.
The interface where you do your posting has change a bit since
this video was made to where you use the spinner syntax for the
title and the post if you want them spun. There’s a video on the
page that explains how to do it if you wish too. It’s very simple
really.
I have just discovered SocialMonkee and have been using it for a
few days now. I think it’s a great way to get more backlinks to
your lenses.
Go signup and give it a try. After all it is
free.
Hey, leave me a comment if you found this post useful at all or
even if you didn’t. Happy Squidoodling!

I don’t know if you’re familiar with
myLot
or not, but it is a discussion where you get paid for starting and
participating in discussions. While that’s okay, the value of myLot
for me is that you can add links to you Squidoo lenses or any other
site or blog in your profile and that gives you backlinks on a PR6
authority site.
As I mentioned you get paid for starting and participating in
discussions and though you can’t put links in your discussion and
you can’t blatantly guide people to your profile, if you make you
discussion or answer to another discussion interesting enough
people will automatically go to your profile. I have links to all
of my lenses in my profile, which you can see
here.
If you are not a member of
myLot
why not join and add another backlink for your Squidoo lenses or
other sites and make a little money while you’re at it.
I hope this was of some help. Leave a comment and let me know.
Happy Squidoodling!

This weekend I discovered two more places where you can promote
your Squidoo lenses and get backlinks and even make a little extra
moola. The two places I’m talking about are
IMfaceplate and
Mashbite.
IMfaceplate was made for Internet marketers. It’s a place where you
can brand yourself in your niche. You can add just about anything
to your faceplate page from tweets to YouTube videos. You can even
add rss feeds, but it will only show ten posts at a time for each
feed. I added this blogs feed and my Squidoo lensmaster feed.
However, my lensmaster feed doesn’t seem to show up, but you still
get an option to manually post ten lenses, which is what I plan to
do. As an extra-added incentive, you can earn facepoints for doing
things like logging in, commenting on discussions and visiting
other people’s faceplates. The facepoints will earn you added
exposure throughout IMfaceplate.
At Mashbite you can write a blog post or an article and add your
link or just do a bookmark for the Squidoo lens and site you want
to link to. It’s another good backlink for your lenses. Another
good thing about Mashbite is that they are a 100% revenue sharing
site. You can add your Adsense and Chitika ID and get 100% of that
ad revenue. You also get 20% of your referrals revenue. I just
added my new lenses there and I plan to ad my others also.
Getting backlinks is the way to move your lenses up the search
engines and make money with Squidoo. The more backlinks you have
the better. With
IMfaceplate and
Mashbite you get a couple of backlinks and a
little extra. So join them both and work your way up the serps.
If you liked this let me know by leaving a comment. You know what
even if you didn’t like it leave one. It’ll help me improve. Happy

On page optimization is very important for getting targeted traffic
to your lenses and to make money with Squidoo. One thing you want
to do is to get your main keyword or phrase on your lens enough so
that search engines see your lens as relative to that keyword
without over doing it.
I’m sure you are already putting your keyword in your write modules
and maybe even in your product modules, but another strategic place
to add your keyword is in the comment module. I see a lot of lenses
where in the comment module the lensmaster simply ask the viewers
to leave a comment letting them know what they thought of the
lens.
I always make sure that I have my keyword either in the Title or
subtitle of the comment module not both and in the content section.
This adds to the relevancy of my lens.
Give this a try on your lenses. I hope this was helpful, let me
know. Happy Squidoodling!

One of the easiest ways to get backlinks to your Squidoo lenses is
to put them on your blog or website. You can put your links in the
sidebar, in your posts or as a header or footer. The best thing
about putting the links in the sidebar, header or footer is that
you have the links on every new post page you create, which gives
you even more backlinks.
I have the links for my lenses in the footer of this blog. If you
scroll to the bottom of this page you can see them there. All have
to do is just others as I create them.
I hope this has been helpful, let me know. Happy Squidoodling!

Here is an idea I recently thought of to get a quality to your
Squidoo lenses. Create a Facebook page that just lists them,
here is the one I create. Now all have to do is
add my lenses as I create them and I have another backlink.
Try making your own page for your lenses. All you have to do is add
a lens address on the wall of your Facebook page and Facebook will
add some content from your lens. Doesn’t get too much easier then
that.
If you decide to try this leave me a comment with a link to your
page and I will check it out. Happy Squidoodling!

I just recently found out that you can setup a
Tumblr blog to
automatically post any new Squidoo lens you create or lens you
update? Well, you can. I have done it and you can see it
Here.
What you have to do is create a Tumblr account if you don’t have
one, if you do have one create a new blog. Once you go through the
process of naming your blog and the other stuff go to Squidoo and
get your lensmaster RSS feed. You can get that by going to any of
your lenses and clicking on the button that has the RSS on it.
Another browser window will come up and you can copy the URL from
the URL box at the top.
Go back to Tumblr and go to the blog you just created. You should
be in your dashboard. From there click the “Customize” link in the
sidebar. On the next page you want to click the “Services” link at
the top of the page and then go down to the “Automatically import
my...” section. In the first dropdown box you want it to say “RSS
feed”, in the second dropdown you want it say “Links with
summaries”. In the “Feed URL” box paste your lensmaster RSS feed
URL. Click the “Start importing this feed” button and the next time
you create or update one of your lenses it will post on your blog
and bam you have a backlink.
I hope this post was helpful. If you have any questions leave a
comment and I will try to help. Happy Squidoodling!

Best Reviewer is a relatively new site, but
it has grown a lot. It is owned by the same person that owes
She Told Me. Both are not only great
resources for getting quality backlinks to Squidoo lenses, but also
a nice way of making a little extra money through their Adsense
revenue sharing program.
Best Reviewer is like a “Tops” site where you can make a list of
the top whatever. So say you have five lenses on a certain subject,
say dessert recipes. One pies, one cakes one on puddings, one on
cheesecakes and one on tarts, you can make list of the top 5
dessert recipes and add links back to your lenses for each item.
Once you have posted your list you are given an opportunity to post
it on She Told Me giving you more backlink juice.
If you’re not a member go ahead join both
Best Reviewer and
She Told
Me. As an extra note, you can also make a list of products
with your affiliate links, which gives you a chance to sell
products and make money.
Did you like this post? Let me know. Heck, even if you didn’t it
let me know that too. Happy Squidoodling!

My new strategy is to do several outlines for different lenses
before I actually create the lenses and that way I not thinking
about the design of the lens and when I'm ready to create the lens
I just copy the content from the outline into write modules and
then just add product modules and whatever other modules I think
the lens needs.
I think this will allow me to create more lenses faster. As I
create the lenses I will do a little promoting and back linking and
come later to do more for the ones that show potential. The rest of
this week I will be posting some back linking ideas that you can
use to help drive your lenses up the search engines.
Below is an outline I created for creating Squidoo Lenses and
HubPages. At top is where I put the title of the lens. Where you
see module one, two and three is where I write the title of that
module. Where the subtitle is--- well, I guess that’s
self-explanatory. Below I just write in the content. This has
helped me a lot in preparing to create my lenses.

I want to make a quick post today for Squidoo beginners. I know
when I first started with Squidoo I didn’t know heads from tails. I
didn’t understand what or how to use the modules or how to do much
of anything. I eventually learned the things I needed to know to
get started by trial and error. This is before I knew about the
free e-book I’m about to show you.
Boy, I wish I had this book when I got started it would have made
my life a lot easier. The e-book is called
Squidoo Lens Creation for Newbies. It’s by Pot
Pie Girl the created of
One
Week Marketing, which actually to get started making money with
Squidoo.

If you’re new to Squidoo or want to

This weekend I had some Amazon sells on one of my Valentine lenses.
The thing is it was none of the items I have on the lenses. As a
matter of fact the sells had nothing to do with Valentine at all.
Here is the items that sold.
Arm & Hammer Disposable Pet Waste Bags Refills
2 Table Hockey Mallets, 2 Oct, 1 Tri, 1 Rnd Air Pucks
Sportcraft 7-Foot Turbo Hockey Table Cover
Thera-Band Comfort Fit Ankle/Wrist Cuff Weight Sets
Strange huh? This makes the point that I talk about in my post
Make Money With Squidoo And Amazon A Killer
Combo. Amazon and Squidoo work well together. If you create a
lens and add Amazon products to it you give yourself the chance to
make some money.
Your goal here is to get people to go to Amazon through your
affiliate link or an Amazon module. Once they are there they may
not buy the product that got them there, but if they buy anything
at all you make money. The good thing is you can make as many
Squidoo lenses as you want. The more lenses you make the more
potential chances you have to make some dough.
If you want to make money with Squidoo, but are not a member yet
Here's The Link To Join. Now you don't
have to be an Amazon affiliate to earn money with Amazon, you can
just use the Amazon modules. However, you will earn more money
using your own affiliate link. So if you want to be an affiliate

To make money with Squidoo you must have a plan and stick with it.
What you should do is look at what successful Squidoodlers are
doing and adapt what they are doing to your plan. One of the main
plans I follow is the
One
Week Marketing plan, but I have also added to that from other
people I have learned from.
So you see I’m not saying get a plan and just do that plan. I’m
saying get something to start with and take action and as you learn
more you can add to it. Heck you can even replace it all together
if you hit upon something that works better for you. But you will
absolutely get nowhere jump from one thing to another to
another.
Get a plan, seriously work that plan and if it doesn’t work for you
move on. If it does work for you keep doing it and add to it if you
feel like it, but do be serious and take action.
Let me know what you thought of this post good or bad. Happy
Squidoodling!

In order to make money with Squidoo you have to have visitors and
the best visitors you can have is targeted visitors. Targeted
visitors are those visitors that are laser focused on the subject
you are presenting. The way to those laser focused visitors is
through the search engines.
Visitors that come from search engines are people that wrote in
what they were interested in and was directed to your lens because
the search engine felt it was one of the pages that were relevant
to the search. So the higher you lens is for a certain search
result the targeted visitors you are going to get.
One of the best ways to raise your lens to the top of the search
engines is by getting good quality one way backlinks. One way to
find good quality one way backlinks is by spying on your
competition for backlinks. Check the top 10 of your competitors and
see who is linking to them and see if you can get some of those
backlinks.
To see who is linking to your competitors go to
Yahoo’s Site Explorer and put in the address of the
site or lens you want to spy on and click the “Explore URL”
button.
You will then see the page below. Click the “Inlinks” button.
You will then see the page below. Click the pull down menu and
select “Except from this domain” and that will give you the
backlinks outside of that sites domain.
Now you can just through and check out those backlinks.

Although my main purpose is to make money with Squidoo that is not
the only purpose it has. Plenty of people there use the platform
for different reasons. After all, Squidoo is very flexible and a
great place to find information on a variety of subjects. Lets take
a look at some of the other ways you can take advantage of this
platform.
One way you can use it is to get backlinks to your main website or
blog. Getting a backlink on Squidoo is considered a good quality
back link because Google likes the site. It is always being updated
with content and Google really likes that. So you can create lenses
with backlinks to your website that will help it to rise in the
search engine results.
Another way people use Squidoo is to promote themselves. If you’re
a writer it’s a good way to get people to pay attention to your
writing. By creating lenses showcasing your writing you have a
place to send people to show an example of your work. The same
thing goes for artists.
One more way is to express your opinions. People have opinions on a
variety of subjects and sometimes don’t have a way of expressing
them and creating lenses is a good way of getting it out f your
system and communicating with people that may be like-minded or
having a healthy debate.
I have just named a few other ways of using Squidoo other then
making money. I know there are a lot more. Join
Squidoo for whatever reason that suits
you.
How do you use it? Let me know. Happy Squidoodling!

If you are just starting with Squidoo and need some help, there is
a very helpful forum that’s decade just to Squidoo. The name of the
forum is
SquidU. Their Lensmasters Lounge, which is where the
link will take you, is full of helpful Lensmasters that can answer
any question you may have about Squidoo.
There are also other sections to SquidU like the
SquidU Review,
which is their blog with some informational posts and the
The Answer
Deck, which actually takes to a page on Squidoo filled with
lenses that answer some of the most asked questions about
Squidoo.
I use the
Lensmasters Lounge the most, which is the actual
forum. You cannot only get answers there you can post your lenses
there also as a way of getting a backlink. There are usually posts
there that ask you post your lenses in the post if they were
created between certain dates or if they have a certain theme.
SquidU is not just helpful for new Squidoodlers it’s also helpful
to the veterans as well. So if you haven’t yet, be sure to give
SquidU a
try.
If this post was helpful let me know. Leave me a comment. Happy
