Some of my favorite techniques, whether your goal is fat loss,
muscle mass, or both, include density training, rest-pause/drop
sets and antagonistic supersets.
There are a lot of different ways to incorporate these techniques
into your workout routine
.
Density training has been popularized by people like Vince Gironda
and Charles Staley (with his Escalating Density Training).
There is a lot that goes into EDT but the basic technique works
like this. You work in what Charles refers

If you have no time to exercise or you're just too tired to workout
after a long day at work (or just can't get up early enough to hit
the gym) then I've got something for you to try.
This doesn't only work if you have no time to exercise, it will
also help you to make working out a habit if you have trouble
staying consistent with your workout program.
You know what I mean, you hit the gym three or four times per week
for a month and then take two months off. That won't get you

Ways to lose belly fat, get fit and feel better is the focus of my

The recommended post workout meal nutrition plan is to take in a
meal of fast acting proteins and carbohdrates. After your workout
your body is hungry for the important nutrients needed to make
positive body transformation changes.
It's been shown that a post workout meal or shake consisting of
protein and carbs helped to boost training recovery.
Glycogen, a complex carbohydrate stored in muscle and the liver, is
rapidly depleted from muscles during intense exercise, whether it's

What is metabolic resistance training? It is, in its simplest form,
the combination of intense strength training with aerobic
conditioning.
Metabolic resistance training (also known as metabolic
conditioning) trains three major biological systems,
muskuloskeletal, circulatory and respiratory.
Most people perform their resistance training and their cardio, or
aerobic workouts, separately.
But, for the most part, this isn't how we function. And it's
definitely not how most athletes

A Robert Downey Jr Workout depends on which role for which the
actor is preparing. While he's fit, ripped and muscular in both
Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes the two different characters required
two different physiques.
For Iron Man the Robert Downey Jr Workout focused more on building
muscle mass while staying relatively lean. For Sherlock Holmes, he
lost that extra muscle mass, carrying 25 muscular pounds less than
he did for his role as Tony Stark.
The amazing thing is that

A good work out schedule is crucial if you wan to get results from
your training program.
When you work out is going to be a very individual thing, based on
your life, career, and other commitments. But that's not the type
of work out schedule I'm talking about right now.
In this instance, I'm talking about your actual training program,
not whether you train before or after work, or whether you take off
from training on weekends.
I've discussed the concept of the split routine

Hindu squats and Hindu push ups have been around a long, long time.
They are variations of the classic bodyweight squat and push up and
have more recently been popularized in Matt Furey's Combat
Conditioning book.
Hindu squats and Hindu push ups are fantastic bodyweight exercises
that you can use as part of your overall fitness program.
But let's face it, for most people, just doing Hindu squats and
push ups every morning would be a huge step in their fitness
levels, as well as the

My name is Gregg and I've been involved with organized sports since
the age of five. When I hit hit school, I began researching a
variety of training methods outside of sport specific skills, as
well as weight training to improve my sports performance, and like
many others, fell in love with training itself and what it can do
for both your body and mind.
I've also done a variety of martial arts, including tae kwon do,
BJJ and Wing Chun (Bruce Lee's original martial art) and continue

While I have a few I consider the 'best bicep exercises', for me,
the best bicep exercise is one you (almost) never see people
perform, at least not for their biceps. And that's the curl grip
pull up, arms shoulder width, or slightly inside the shoulders.
If you don't yet have the strength to make this a meaningful
exercise, you can use the lat pulldown machine.
This exercise is the centerpiece for my favorite biceps workout

A jump rope workout is a fantastic way to burn a lot of calories,
improve your overall conditioning, and use as part of a metabolic
resistance training program for some serious fat loss.
Two great things about jumping rope is you can take it anywhere and
you don't need a lot of room to get in a great jump rope
workout.
You can also use the jump rope as part of your training program,
whether you're using weights or just using bodyweight exercises in
your training.

Most of the
best supplements for muscle gain
aren't really anything new and exciting. Let's face it, the vast
majority of bodybuilding supplements, whether for
building
muscle mass or getting ripped, DO NOT WORK!
Most are a complete waste of your money. But there are definitely
quality supplements that can help you
build muscle quickly
as long as your training program and nutrition are in order
first.
That's one of the biggest problems. People are constantly searching
for some magic bullet that will give them amazing results but this
isn't the case. Supplements are supplements.
Supplements are NOT drugs!
They SUPPLEMENT proper weight training routines and muscle building
nutrition programs.
Now that we have that taken care of, what are some muscle building
supplements that really work?

How much protein to build muscle? I get that question a lot!
Quickly followed by
'what's the best protein powder for
building muscle?'
First things first, does protein build muscle? Yes!
Protein is the building block of muscle. If
you don't get enough protein, you won't be able to build a
significant amount of muscle mass.
You can also start getting a variety of health aliments as well.
Our bodies need protein to build muscle, as well as for overall
health.
As far as how much protein to build muscle, the reason it can seem
confusing is because a definitive answer hasn't been discovered
yet.
Protein intake is a lot like calorie intake.
There are a variety of formulas that will give you a good starting
point to determine how many calories you need each day but
ultimately you'll need to track, experiment and find out for
yourself.
But it is a lot easier when you at least have somewhere to
start.

The best exercises to lose weight are not the same old same old.
It's not the stationary bike, the treadmill, the elliptical, or
something you sit and spin around on until you're dizzy!
I wrote about hiit training secrets and how the average calories
burned running a marathon is about 2,600 calories.
I don't want you to break down and cry but there's about 3,500
calories in a pound of fat!
So, you can see why traditional cardio routines aren't the best
exercises to lose weight.
