For many women, having fat thighs can be extremely depressing. Unfortunately, for 95% of these women thigh fat is something that is unavoidable as their estrogen levels take a dive, especially as they start to get a bit older. Diet and exercise are the only safe ways to combat this problem. Although exercise cannot directly affect the amount of fat around your thighs, it can, along with diet, reduce the amount of fat around your body considerably, which, of course, will include the problem areas of the thighs, hips and bum. The main benefits of exercise is that it will improve muscle mass, the more muscle mass you have the more calories you will burn, it will also sculpt and tone your body so when your fat starts to disappear, and it will, it will e replaced by a well toned body and, finally, your fitness levels and your general well being will be greatly improved.
