I found the cheapest place to buy this trendy
little camera is from Amazon take a look through this
link.
The Lumix comes with a 28mm wide-angle lens which allows you to
capture large groups or wider pictures, also converts to 35mm
equivalent when maximised in the wide position.
The fh20 is a 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 8x Optical Image
Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD giving you the ability to zoom in
like the picture below...
|
The Good
|
- Slimline and very effective for high quality
photos.
- One thing i really like about this camera is that
it comes in a variety of cool colors, blue, black,
violet, silver and red.
- Small enough to fit in your pocket.
- Minimal manual settings, really easy to use.
- Auto settings, push a button for quick and easy
point and shoot.
- The battery life lasts longer than most other
digital camera, uses 1 rechargeable battery (included)
|
|
The Bad
|
- In low light you may have to stabilize the camera.
- You will need a good sized memory card 4 gb or
higher is better - Class 6 card or higher (rough guide
for memory card storage below)
|
From the Panasonic manual,
the following is to give you an estimate of how many pictures you
may take with the gb memory cards:
1 GB of card storage, shooting all pics at 10 Mega pixels (which
returns you a good 11 x 14 inch print) = about 270 photos
1 GB of card storage, shooting all pics at 5 Mega pixels (which
returns you a good 8 x 10 inch print) = about 440 photos
1 GB of card storage, shooting all pictures at 3 Mega pixels (which
gives you a good 5 x 7 inch print) = about 600 photos

HOLY SMOKES!! THIS CAMERA!!!, July 4, 2010
By
Mountainman
First of all. I am not a pro photographer. I am an ordinary joe
that loves to shoot pics. Before I left on my travels to Jackson
Hole Wyoming I knew I needed a point and shoot photographic
camera. And so, being a Nikon man, I considered the Coolpix only
when I began reading all of the avid reviews about the FH20, I
selected to give it a shot. The battery life, the 8x optical
zoom, intelligent auto, 14 mega pixel all make this digital
camera remarkable. Simply it's the ease of use (I never opened up
the manual) and the fact that there's absolutely no shutter
delay.I shot with this camera ten to twelve hours per day and
still had juice left at the end of the day. To give it to you in
a nutshell. This little camera that I carried around in the front
pocket of my trek trousers for 6 days, packs one hellava
wallup!!!...Panasonic has done it again!! The lumix FH20 is by
far top of the line in point and shoot. I'm completely sold. Get
this camera and I promise you'll come in here and rave about it!!
I just wish that I could in some way attach a few pics that I
shot with this camera so as to express to you just how
sensational your pictures will be.

Only just the best compact camera on the market for me
By
Doris M
I have used a Canon for a lot of years, recently purchased the
ultra compact Canon SP790IS. My original Canon was slowly
breaking down. Did research and checked into the FH1,FH3, FP8 and
the FH20 along with the Canon 790. Received this camera several
days ago, this FH20 rocks. Pictures are genuinely very, very
good. I could not believe it. The size of it is fantastic, ease
of use is beyond belief. I am an artist and use my camera to
capture photos of lighthouses, old barns and interesting
constructions. This camera gives me what I am searching for and a
lot more. So glad I took the plunge. When the 1st reviewer stated
she read a test of the FH20 by a professional photographer, I
read the same article and it's all GOOD. I would recommend
this camera above all others. Thanks Amazon, once more you came
through for me every bit as did Panasonic.

This camera is small enough to fit in your pocket, comes in
