'We all felt 12 again, sliding down the side of this building, shooting, screaming,' Tyrese Gibson tells MTV News.By Kara Warner

For those who've seen "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," there is so much going on in the film that one could spend the next 12 months breaking down all the dirty details. We've already tackled the nods to "Star Trek" and the "Transformers"-specific Easter eggs, so today we turn our attention to one of the film's most impressive action sequences: the part when evil Decepticon Shockwave sends his massive, spinning, snakelike destroyer after our protagonists, who become trapped in the upper stories of a tall building. The Transformer proceeds to cut the building in half, leaving our heroes no option but to jump out of the windows and slide down the outside of the building to safety.

Box-office experts look into the franchise's future.By Kara Warner

Given the spectacular box-office grosses of "Transformers" and its sequel, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" (despite being lambasted by critics and audiences), it is not all that surprising that the three-quel, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," has made box-office history and a ton of money in the first few days of its release.
Michael Bay's third robot-tastic installment hauled in an estimated $97.5 million over the holiday weekend, making it 2011's new biggest opening-weekend record holder, which was previously set by "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides."
So, what does this mean? In a nutshell, we'll be getting more "Transformers" movies, no matter what Bay and star Shia LaBeouf have said or decided about their "retirement" plans. "I guarantee that Paramount is currently thinking of ways to keep the franchise going," ...Michael Bay's third installment in the series had the highest-grossing July 4 debut ever.By Ryan J. Downey

There's no hiding the success of the "robots in disguise" franchise: "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" enjoyed the highest-grossing Fourth of July film debut ever over the weekend. Summer sequel mania was in full swing over the Independence Day holiday as the latest "Transformers" movie took in an estimated $97.5 million. "Transformers" beat the 2011 opening-weekend record previously set by "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," which just crossed the $1 billion mark worldwide.
Director Michael Bay's third installment in the "Transformers" series took in more than $180 million during its six-day opening, which started with Tuesday night previews. While it beat the Independence Day record held by "Spider-Man 2" thanks to inflation and 3-D screenings, it fell short of the superhero sequel...Keep voting over on the MTV Movies Blog to determine the best 'Potter' character of all time.By Eric Ditzian

The second round of MTV News' "Harry Potter" World Cup — the fan-voted tournament to pick the greatest character in the fantasy franchise — is already under way, but we'd like to pause for a minute to say how damn impressed we are. We offered up this momentous task to you, and you came through in a big way over the first round, voting more than 1.2 million times to make sure your favorite wizards and witches, heroes and villains, owls, elves and werewolves made it through to the next round.
Magical stuff! And it's only just beginning. Round two is shaping up to deliver us some blowouts, some neck-and-neck competitions and one upset that could have fans of another supernatural series up in arms.
On that last point, we're talking about Mr. Robert Pattinson. Before...Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello and Axwell tap rising star Zedd for a remix of their current single.By Akshay Bhansali

Fans of Swedish House Mafia know the holy trinity of house — Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello — as not only superstar DJ/producers in their own right, but also as tastemakers in the music business, launching impressive young talent into a completely different stratosphere.
In Miami, at their Masquerade Motel: One Night Stand party in March, Swedish House Mafia debuted the epic "Nillionaire" by rising electronic dance music star Alesso (signed to Ingrosso's label, Refune), who has since gone on to have tremendous Beatport.com chart success with his "Pressure" remix (originally by Nadia Ali, Alex Kenji and Starkillers) and his remix of SHM's latest single, "Save the World."
Now, they introduce you to Zedd, a.k.a. Anton Zaslavski. Hailing from Kaiserslautern, Germany, the 21-ye...Teen Mom star Maci Bookout is not a happy woman.
On this evening's season premiere of Teen Mom, she learns that her baby's father, Ryan Edwards, has been skipping out on child support payments.
In the clip below, when she calls to inquire about the missed deposit, she gets a rather rude awakening when it comes to the unemployed Edwards.
"If payments aren't coming in, we can file a contempt with the court," the agent tells a surprised Maci Bookout. "Which typically means community service and, in most cases, six months in jail or a large lump sum payment."
Later, a shocked Bookout calls a pal to report her findings. "Can you get me a new baby-daddy?" she asks. Wishful thinking. Watch the clip:

Katt Williams recently gave a family in Arizona a new puppy after one of his bodyguards killed their german shepherd. See pics of Katt and the puppy's new owners inside and see how Nick Minaj expressed herself after her cousin was murdered yesterday.
TMZ reports that one of Katt Williams' bodyguards killed a german shepherd in the parking lot of a Jack-in-the Box in Williams, AZ recently.
Sources say that on June 24, the dog was near the tour bus of Katt Williams and it bit one of his bodyguards. The bodyguard then fired two shots into the dog, killing him on the spot.
When the owners (who were also in the parking lot) were notified of the death, Katt personally told them he would fire the bodyguard. Then he apologized and gifted the owners an 8-week old Mastiff that he had on his tour bus.
The owners accepted the dog and even posed with Katt for pics....

Critics have mixed feelings about Hanks' first directing effort in 15 years.By Eric Ditzian

Perhaps only the boom-boom-pow theatrics of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," which will be making most of the noise (and the box-office bucks) at the multiplex this weekend, could overshadow a new offering from Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts.
Or possibly the mixed reviews for their comedy, "Larry Crowne," are helping create a lower profile for the heavily marketed film. Hanks has taken on directing duties for only the second time in his career (his debut was the 1996 nostalgia trip "That Thing You Do!") and recruited Roberts to join in the action. But the results have been met with outright disdain in some corners, with critics scoffing at a lack of laughs and a bland story line. Yet where others see a milquetoast comedy, many reviewers see a skilled director delivering a warm-hearted summer diversion. Read on for th...
Soon-to-be-divorced "Basketball Wife" Jennifer Williams has officially moved on. TheYBF.com was on hand in the New Orleans Superdome last night for the last night of the Essence Music Festival. And we spotted Jen and her "something new" boo, celebrity fitness trainer Lucas James, canoodling in the VIP lounge.

She may have just recently filed divorce papers on husband Eric Williams (long time coming), but Jennifer's found someone almost the total opposite of Eric-- and they seem head over heels for each other already. Jennifer reportedly confirmed she and Lucas are indeed dating, but he will not be appearing on the upcoming season of "Basketball Wives." Dude already had his reality fill as the winner of that wack "Date My Ex" show with ex-"OC Housewife" Jo De La Rosa.
The twosome seemed to try to avoid the lens of cameras (hence the grainy pics) when they were together, but...

After the season-four premiere, Jason Stackhouse 'has to get out of that icebox, first and foremost,' the actor tells MTV News.By Kara Warner
For anyone who tuned into the season-four premiere of HBO's southern vampy soap "True Blood" last Sunday, you were treated to a fangtastic, envelope-pushing blend of all the things that have made the show so popular. We're only one episode in, and already it looks like we can expect trouble from fairies, witches and werepanthers this season. (Lost already? Check out our "True Blood" season-four primer.)
One of the characters who has already found himself in trouble with the supernatural shifters is Jason Stackhouse, played by Ryan Kwanten. The last we saw of him, he'd been trying to bring a bit of good will to the poor community of Hotshot and was clubbed over the head and locked into an icebox for the gesture.
When MTV News caught up with Kwanten as he promoted his upcoming Indie romantic comedy "Griff the...
