To me it is the land of plenty with very little waste. I stumbled upon the newest Wasteland on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City and it was love at first sight. It is a large modern space, very clean and well organized. I gravitated to the section of dresses marked Designer. Guess what they truly are designer dresses that have found a second home at Wasteland and are just waiting to be snapped up. On my first visit I snagged a lovely black Catherine Maladrino dress with a lace cutout neckline. It was in perfect condition and the price was less than filling up my tank with gas. Yes, of course I bought it! Subsequent visits have yielded other finds Jimmy Choo sling backs perfect condition a Silver evening dress by Badgley Mischka with a tulip skirt and a Diane Von Furstenberg jersey dress. You never know what you may find at Wasteland. They also have a vintage section and a new section with fun, fashion forward pieces. There are other locations throughout Los Angeles, but Studio Ctiy is my favorite.
