(More customer reviews)Assembly only took about an hour with a bunch of kids running around and rushing me. I didnt even have to watch the dvd that came with it to figure it out. I'm female & 4' 11". Got it filled with 2 garden hoses in about 8 hours. I did put carpet under it just in case there were small pebbles I might have missed. I put it on concrete instead of grass and the ground is slightly unlevel, but pool is holding up fine. After a few days of pool use and hardly any chemicals since I was still waiting for them to be delivered, the water got a little cloudy. As soon as I received my checmicals kit, I shocked it with 2/3 cup of chlorine and added PH minus to bring it to the right level. After just 5 hours, the pool now looks nice & clean again except for the leaves that fell to the bottom which I will vacuum with my automatic pool cleaner. The vacuum given with the pool is really cheap and hard to use for me since I am petite, so I bought an automatic cleaner which is $[...] at "[...]", but it's going to save me a lot of time and aggravation. The ladder is narrow and is also a bit shaky, but it does hold up just fine also. This is the 1st time I've ever left a review, but I thought it was neccessary since there are a lot of people who complain that it is hard to setup and keep up. I am the laziest person in the world and I've managed to keep it up. That's just how easy it is. Hope this review helps.

(More customer reviews)My veterinarian recommended Get Serious about a year ago, and I have never been so pleased with a pet stain remover. The product is safe and very effective; it normally gets stains of all varieties out the first time (although bile-colored cat vomit on white carpet may take two passes), and has not harmed any of the materials that I have seen it used on.
I have tried almost every pet stain remover on the market and this is by far the best I have ever used. As for odor removal, it seems effective (I certainly can't smell any remnants of the offending material after treatment), but remember that cats and dogs can smell much better than we can, so I hesitate to claim that all traces of odors are removed. What I can say is that after treatment all stains and humanly detectable odors are gone, and I have predominantly white carpet in the house, which provides a tough testing ground.
This product is not the cheapest on the market, but I recommend it highly for versatility and effectiveness: as far as I'm concerned it is unsurpassed.

(More customer reviews)I read the review below and thought I'd take a chance. However, I found the same reviewer almost everywhere I looked at the product, and only that reviewer. Raised some questions. When the product arrived there was a problem with the level of suction, it was not picking up minor items. I called the Hoover 800 service number and was unhappy to find that it was just a phone dump. It asked where you are and a computer gives you the name and address of a dealer in my case 40 minutes away and then disconnects you. I expect a company like Hoover to have a legitimate customer service department. I have a pet and a clean home is important to me; I have returned the Hoover and purchased the Dyson DC14 Animal. The Dyson is more costly, however if I waste my time cleaning and not picking up anything I believe that the cost of having a poorly performing unit in my case is greater than the outlay for the Dyson. This may have been just a defective unit however I believe it would do someone seeking to buy the Hoover U8181-900 well to check things out.

Other than that issue we like how light and quiet it is and how easy it is to take on the stairs, that's the main reason I dropped the the upright we bought at walmart which was an $80 clunker by Eureka, it's heavy and the accessories fall off, we hated it.

(More customer reviews)This product is easy to use and very effective. There is nothing quite so annoying as coming home and being hit first thing with pet odor. This product and its companion AOE do a superb job of keeping my home from smelling like a kennel. Both products have no enzymes or soaps, are non-toxic, environmentally friendly AND made in the USA.
I mix KOE with water and spray it on the dog run. Odor is gone, without any adverse effect on plants. It is lightly scented, which I could do without, but hey - I'd rather smell it than dog droppings!!!
I also used it inside to rinse a tile floor where the dogs are fed. Really takes the odor away and makes enclosed areas smell fresh.
There is another product out there called yard odor killer that you have to attach to a hose to use. In my case this is not practical and there are no instructions on how much to mix with water if you can't get a hose there. Haven't tried it because of that, but other people rave about it.

I put the scooba to a test after a day of spilled tea and sugar on the floor along with the muddy footprints. I swept the floor and set it loose. It cleaned up everything, even the areas that I missed from the broom. The only areas the scooba does not clean are corners, but it will free up your time to clean other areas in the house.

I was at the point that I thought the only solution was to replace the carpet with new carpet, since my husband is handicapped and slips on other floor coverings. (More customer reviews)I have about 500 sf of porcelain tile in my kitchen that is silver in color. Since the entry into the house is right in the kitchen the floor is always dirty. Now that we have a toddler in our house I want to make sure the floors are clean. I've tried everything!!!! Swiffer, deck brush, Shark steam mop, etc.... nothing really gets the floor clean clean. I saw the Pullman Holt in a catalog and it looked like the answer to my problems. It wasn't. The concept of this product seems good, but in reality it fails miserably. The problem is that it is feather light....there is no weight to it so it doesn't "dig in" at all. I tried using it without any microfiber pads on it, just the brushes and it just didn't do anything. I'm not one to write reviews on products typically, but this machine was so pitiful that I just had to write this. I'm awaiting the arrival of a Hoover spin scrub...hopefully that machine does the trick.

I found 3 different items which looked good so I bought them all. Natures Miracle, Kids and Pets, and Simple Solution. The Kids and pets smelled so strongly on its own I think it was worse than the urine smell. The Simple solution works, but you need to use a lot and it too has its own odor. The Natures Miracle is by far the best and has no residual odor at all. Thank you Natures Miracle you have earned my business for life.

(More customer reviews)The Fein PB350 Electric Floor Brush seemed like a good idea: Take a first class (albeit heavy), quiet shop vac with good filtration and also make it the inside-the-house vacuum cleaner by adding a $240 powered floor brush kit. And as other reviewers note, it does a good job picking up dirt. Here's the problem:
* The power cord that runs from the unit to the power head is on the outside of the hose and tangles easily. The half dozen or so clips Fein includes are half what you need. The cord-and-hose combination, even with extra clips, is clunky and looks kind of dorky. Guys may find it acceptable but spouses may not.
* Undoing the power cord to swap out the power floor brush is a hassle, so I bought a second Fein hose, for $60 -- one for regular tools, one for the power floor brush, and I swap out the entire assembly
* Total cost works out to about $700-$800: 8 gallon vac, the wet/dry tools kit (about $100), the electric floor brush, and the second hose
We went this direction because our house vac was dying and I figured, what the heck, give it a try. If I did it again, I'd get the 6 gallon Turbo II not 8 gallon Turbo III because the still kind of bulky for what I do (although still way smaller than the 16 gallon Craftsman shop vac we still have#, and I'd buy the electric floor brush only if was around $100, not $240 #I bet Fein's unit costs are high because it's a low volume item). I have a one-generation removed Turbo III and the molding on the underside of the handle is like 3 knife edges that cut into your hand.

(More customer reviews)After reading the two negative reviews, I almost returned this mop unopened. But then I figured I'd at least try it first. I really can't figure out if the two negative reviews had bad mops or just completely unrealistic expectations. When I mop using a traditional mop, it's a hard & dirty job. I end up chipping at caked-on things with my finger nail. I get sweaty. My arms get a great work-out. It takes forever for my floors to clean & I have to keep the kids & pets away for an hour. That is hard cleaning.
This mop does not require any of the above. It is super easy and super light. It is so light-weight that it does not require any real arm pumping. I can't get over the person complaining about moving it seven times. I wonder if she was activating the steam mechanism? You could move this thing 20 times over the same spot and your arm still wouldn't be tired. No matter what type of cleaning you are doing, you go over the same strip more than once: vacuuming, cleaning toilets, counters, mopping, even something cosmetic like removing nail polish from your nails... The first swipe loosens the dirt and the second cleans it up. This is the same. It takes less than 10 seconds to go over a section twice.
I have two kids, a dog, and three cats. We track a lot of dirt into the house and have frequent spills. My floors feel like a full-time job some days. I have 1000 sq. ft of laminate and porcelain tile on my first floor. I did my entire downstairs in less time than it takes me to traditionally mop the kitchen alone. My floors are VERY clean & they dried almost instantly. All sticky stuff was loosened and lifted. I was surprised that ground-in dirt in the textured spots in my tile noticeably cleaned-up. I have been on my hands & knees with a toothbrush and abrasive cleaners trying to loosen that stuff up. I won't say it came up 100%, but it is noticeably lighter. And this is 10 years worth of life being ground into the textured tile.
My floors look and are clean. I am neither sweaty nor tired. My only complaints are: 1) the water reservoir could be larger. I had to refill a few times, which is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 stars. 2) my floors had more of a dull finish rather than shiny. I added a couple tablespoons of white vinegar to the water reservoir and this seemed to combat the dullness. I would imagine if you had a squirt-on cleanser (like Pledge Floors or Murphy's Oil soap), you could use that in addition to the plain water. I know part of the hype is "no cleaners needed," and while this is true, you might want to try something in addition if you like a shiny finish. Even squirting on a cleanser this is still much easier than traditional mopping. It also navigated corners and baseboards extremely well with the swivel-head.
I will never traditional-mop again. This is beyond easy, faster, and so much less labor-intensive. Not to mention easier than dragging buckets, cleaner, and a mop up and down the stairs to do multiple spots.
