The PSP 2 will feature a quad core oncortex a9 processor to run heavy duty games, 3G and WiFi connectivity, aswell as the 3G acting as GPS. There are front and rear cameras and touchpads, for more options when playing games such as FPS first person shooters like Call Of Duty. There are dual anologue sticks, like the Playstation unlike the original PSP Playstation Portable. The screen is a 5inch OLED capacitive touch screen, with a resolution of 960x544, twice the resolution of the original PSP. The PSP 2 uses SD like cards for games, leaving the old UMD disks behind, meaning any old games you have for the PSP will not be able to come over to the new PSP 2. Sony say, that the PSP 2 matches the power of the Playstation 3, but the only downside is the release day is in the holiday season of 2011. The OS will be LiveArea, a more social networking UI from the old Playstation ui that we were used to with the PSP 10003003 and the Playstation 3.
