(More customer reviews)I purchased this item, and it came and was beautiful. The table is very sturdy and has that shiny polished wood look. The chairs however are my issue. They look nice when set up, but are not sturdy or secure when sitting on them. The wood that is used to support the bottom where you sit, is very weak, and when my thin and older parents sat on it, they both buckled and broke in the same spot, The stress area of the chairs are in the middle. They break easily. This is a great set, just the chairs need to be reinforced on the bottom where you sit.

(More customer reviews)We bought this table to have in our eat-in kitchen. I needed a certain size the fit the space and this one fit the bill. The table seats 6 without the leaf and 8 with the leaf. It was well packaged and had no damage except for one dot on one corner where the finish had come off. Because of this, I noticed that the finish seems to be painted on, not stained. Just looking at it, you would never know, but the chip revealed natural colored wood. I just used a marker to cover the spot and you can't even see it. The table is HEAVY. The latches that hold the table together with or without the leaf are high quality. Once you close them, there is no way the table will shift apart. The finish of the table really looks beautiful. Assembly was a cinch - just attach the legs. It is definitely worth the money and I am very happy with this table!

(More customer reviews)We needed an extra folding camp chair as outdoor auction season is right around the corner and one of our old ones was beginning to fall apart. We have purchased our other camp chairs in local stores (discount stores mainly) however as it is January and "out of season", they have been impossible to find. I shopped around on amazon.com before settling on this one, the price was right and the couple of reviews were more than reasonable (mine did NOT come with speakers, etc., this is just a plain folding camp chair as shown in the photos). amazon.com was also offering Free SuperSaver Shipping with this chair.
I wanted one right away, so was torn between the Hot Pink (shown here) or camo with a deer head (other colors are available, however were at the time subject to a 1-2 week wait before shipping), so chose the pink. As far as pink goes, it is a lovely color pink and will make it easy to find my chair in a crowd. It also came with a nice little carrying case (like the others we have purchased locally) with a carrying handle, ideal for throwing in the trunk of the car and toting to wherever I need to sit.
Local stores had been asking around $12-13 for theirs, so considering the cost of gasoline, time and hassle, this was well-worth the price as local stores have been raising their prices every year. Also to be said for THIS chair (as compared to ones we have purchased locally) is that it didn't sag halfway to the floor when I sat in it! All the other chairs we have purchased (of this type) have sagged as soon as we sat in them, which makes it (at our ages) a little difficult to get out of.
However THIS chair's seat stayed reasonably firm, so much that we can both get out of it very quickly! I don't expect it to stay THAT firm with continued use ~ and I don't expect it to last forever ~ but I will definitely be ordering one in another color for hubby to use (and relegate the old sagging one that sagged even when new) to storage "just in case" one of the new ones gives way before we can get another one.
Amazon: shipping was quick, as usual, and it was boxed with a substantial amount of brown paper in the void. The box was obviously banged around quite a bit during shipment (NOT the fault of amazon) but stayed intact and the chair arrived in un-harmed condition.

Pretty good quality, I would compare it to Ashley furniture. It should wear pretty well with the kids eating off of it. There is a lot of assembly required, it took my very handy hubby about 3 hours to put it all together. A good value for the price. I love the storage underneath the table. It adds a lot visually, and we can always use more storage space!

What looks like a thick, padded seat is actually a hard wooden seat covered with maybe a 1/4 inch of padding. Definitely not something you want to sit on for a long time.

The glass top is perfect as I have two young children who usually spill all sorts of food and drinks. The chairs also can be cleaned easily. After five years of abuse, one of the chairs finally gave in because my husband loves to rock his chair while he eats. This should not have happened if he did not have such a bad habit. I am really sad because as the chairs have metal legs, it needs to be welded somehow if I am to save the chair. Overall, it is worth the money and if it wasn't for my husband, I would not have to replace the chair in another five more years.

However, even though there are just a few screws, these chairs are the most difficult items I have ever had to assemble. It takes brute strength and a ton of patience. Once together they are sturdy enough to hold someone well over 200 lbs but would probably not hold up to daily abuse by a 6 year old.

One of the chair legs had a crack at the top of the leg, and two of the legs I messed up because of the instructions. When I contacted this company I was told no problem, they will send out 3 more legs and will be no charge. The legs were supposed to ship July 21st, but according to Fed Ex they never received the legs. In contacting the Company they said Fed Ex must have lost them, and would ship out the legs on the 29th of July. Well that did not happen, so I contacted them again and was told the legs would ship on the 6th of August. Today is the 6th of August and I tried to contact them again, but only could reach an answering machine to leave a message. The reason I was contacting them on the 6th was to make sure I could get a tracking number from Fed Ex, because this is the only way I will know if they really shipped. So far I am not pleased with this company, and if I don't receive the legs I am going to call my credit card company for a full refund.

The vertical steel tube that is supposed to screw into the base had malformed threads that would not allow it to be screwed into the base. The overall black paint coating was amateurish at best. The overall product is lightweight and would easily tip over by a large dog, that it was designed to serve. This product will disappoint those who are seeking a stable dual feed dish, in my opinion. It was a complete waste of time to order, wait, assemble, and rebox for a refund, which was the most pleasant part of this experience.

(More customer reviews)I've purchased replacement Breuer chair seats in the past, and while none of them exactly match the original seat, they have all been of nearly comparable quality. Not quite in this case (a replacement seat manufactured in China). Although it fits just fine and is similar in color, upon close inspection it clearly lacks the level of craftmanship and care I've come to expect in this product. You can easily see the roughness in the edging and seams, showing it was hastily fitted together without the normal attention to finishing and detail. I installed it anyway, since its not obvious from a distance and by the time you get close enough to notice, you're already sitting down. Still, it's disappointing to see the standards slipping this obviously.

(More customer reviews)I bought this after an extensive physical and web search for a table to upgrade & replace TV tray tables. There is not a lot out there. The table was somewhat tricky to put together as some of the nuts (especially the four at the top) attach to the threaded bolts in holes that are no bigger than the tip of your finger. You have to do it almost blind as at that point you are working below the partially assembled unit. There is no reason the Catskill guys had to use threaded bolts here.... could've used wood screws as they did for the feet. But after a frustrating time it eventually was assembled. It is a very nice unit. Nice and sturdy. Maybe a bit heavy for some women or kids but has two nice handles for lifting and sets up in 15 seconds. Be warned it is table height not TV tray height. So when we sit at the couch our dinner plate is a bit high. It would be great to use with regular or folding chairs. Great for small NYC apartments were space is at a premium. It is basically unfinished and I am going to stain it a bit darker to match other wood in our room. I didn't give it a higher rating because of the assembly problem and the fact that it a bit over-priced at $175. That said I like it and use it a lot.
