Daft Punk to release a new album soon?

Disco legend Giorgio Moroder ha revealed that he recorded a track for the new Daft Punk album. During a one-on-one interview at International Music Summit in Ibiza, the producer behind genre-defining songs such as “I Feel Love” and “The Chase” revealed that he recently went into the studio with the French duo.

The robots asked the Munich Machine to go into a vocal booth and speak about his life. In the studio were multiple microphones of various vintages from the ’60s to today. When Moroder asked the engineer why they had so many mics, he replied that the mic they would use would depend on what decade of his life he was speaking about. When Moroder asked if anyone would know the difference, the engineer replied “They will know.”

Another disco pioneer, Nile Rodgers of Chic, was in the audience for Moroders story. Rodgers recently revealed that he also worked on several songs with Daft Punk.

David Guetta signs the first release of Jack Back, his Music Label

2012 Best Dj and Superstar David Guetta decided to be more involved into the Music Production. He created his own Music label, Jack Back.

After the release of his last album Nothing But The Beat, French Dj David Guetta has recently his own Electronic Music label, Jack Back. The first release of the new label, “Metropolis” is already a Hit!

For this first release, David Guetta has collaborated with the Dutch House Dj Nicky Romero.

David Guetta has also recently announced a collaboration with Usher who will soon release his new album Looking For Myself.

French Dj and Producer Etienne de Crecy, one of the French Touch Music founder, makes us dance since 20 years. To celebrate, he releases a Best of, “My Contribution To the Global Warming”.

Saint Michel, the new French Touch revelation from Versailles

Natives from Versailles, cradle of French Touch Music, Saint Michel is the new talent of the movement. A name to remember!

Versailles has been, is and will be the capital of French Touch. While talented French artists come from all over the country, there is always something different with musicians from there.
Daft Punk, Air, Phoenix, Etienne de Crecy… all from Versailles! Even me, I am from Versailles!

In France, the name Saint Michel could be a really famous abbey in Normandy/Britanny, a brand of cookies or a brand of soap. Now, when you will hear the name Saint Michel, think Music, think French Touch!

Saint Michel released their first EP “I Love Japan” on April 9th and it’s highly recommended you to get a copy!

Birkii releases “Holy War”

French female singer and Producer, Birkii releases her new single and Music Video called “Holy War”.

Birrkii has everything to deserve being famous and successful. She’s a pretty young French woman; but most of all she is a talented artist. The perfect woman?
After having learned classical music in conservatory for almost 20 years, Birkii started to produce her first Electro-Pop tracks only a couple of years ago. Her talent and Musical influences mixed with her female sensibility and melancholy makes a unique musical style.

Founded in 1981, FG Dj Radio became through the years one of the most famous and respected House & Electronic Radio station in the world. In 2012, they celebrate the 20th anniversary of the actual format of the radio station.
Antoine Baduel, CEO, has always been a visionary man. While House & Electronic Music were only an underground movement, he decided to democratize these Music styles to the general audience. For the promotion of his new single, Yuksek is using the talent of 2 others French artists: Roman Segaud for the Music Video and Brodinski to remix the track (available on February 27th 2012).

Third single and video for Yuksek‘ last album “Living Of The Edge Of Time”, he chose the track “Off The Wall” to give a new and different insight of his second album released in spring 2011. The two previous singles were “Always On The Run” and “On A Train”. This new video uses a mirror effect to surreal the characters.
