Do I have Fibromyalgia, or am I paranoid?

pThe last week or so my right upper arm and shoulder have felt incredibly uncomfortable and I cannot find any position that lessens this feeling. It feels weak, and even lifting my arm takes an effort and lifting things, like a glass of water, hurts my arm. Touching my arm doesnt make it hurt, but it increases the discomfort. I looked up the symptoms, and it looks like I match to some. Such as I have had TMJ for years off and on, I have always had sleeping problems, I have head aches often, and sometimes it seems like I have short term memory loss, but it depends. Also, I read that your periods are worse, and this last one about a week or so ago was the worse one Ive had in years and years. Major cramps, aches, fatigue, soreness, pretty much everything physically that can happen, did. Which never happens for me.I have not been in any major accidents, and as far as I can remember, I didnt pull it or anything. I do sleep in a weird way, so I thought that might be it, but Ive done that for years, so its weird that it would just now present a problem.I described my problem to a friend, and he said it was exactly what his exwife described in the beginning of her FMS problems. So, do you guys think I have it, or am I just jumping the gun Either way, I know theres no cure, I just want to know. Thanks. And should I go to a doctor, or is that a waste of timeOh, and I a vertigo problem, which has become much worse in the last couple of weeks, and the irritable bowl syndrome. Thanks for the great answers guys. I did want to say that I am not stressed at all and have a very relaxing summer and I am worry free. Which is why these problems are so strange. I guess I will go see a doc just to make sure everythings cool. Apppreciate it.p
