the two scientists who are freaked out and wanna leave and
head back too the ship but get lost. why if they were so
strawberry floating scared when they got lost did they not
radio the ship and get directions out as it was all mapped by
then and they had plenty of time before the storm hit.... did
they just wander about for the hour or two while we assume
the other sicentists were strawberry floating about in the
head room and forget about their radios? i mean one of them
has robots that scan out map plans of caves, and he's a
sicentist, i would assume he can operate a strawberry
floating radio let alone not get lost!!!
the worm who gets into one of the scientists i don't think
has strawberry float all to do with the xenomorphs we all
love and know, its a stand alone different bio weapon, a
parasite that takes over and turns the scientist into a
strawberry floating mutant, my problem with this; well
nothing really except we see earlier the space jocky hologram
video of them all running into that room, away from
something, scared, they lock themselve in that room, one
doesn't make it, head cut off. why? why lock themselves in
that room with the giant head and the worms that can
strawberry float you up and where were their corpses? and
what were they running from?
the space jocky corpses all piled up in the corridor that our
two radio incapable sicentists run into. what happened to
them? one clearly had a hole in the side of it's head, who
did that? completely not explained, did i miss something?
the abortion scene.

so let walk through this one.
shes on the bed, a male doctor and the scottish bint come in
to take her to be frozen, she hits them with a bed pan or
some gooseberry fool and runs off and does her abortion. the
two doctors we can assume get up, dust themselves down and
head off to get wayland sorted because when our abortion
queen meets him that scottish bint is helping get him ready
and makes strawberry float all reference to being hit with a
bed pan or the escape. Doesn't report it, doesn't give chase,
it just goes no where. pointless scene added to the movie for
shock value and in my opinion the abortion scene wasn't
anything really shocking.
the two guys who are having a bet throughout the movie, thats
all we know of them. i love how they are willing to throw
down their lives for no other reason other than their captain
is planning to crash his ship into the space jocky ship,
based on the abortion doll saying the ship is going to earth.
she knows this because.... wait, how does she know this? i
mean when the space jocky plans the course for earth shes
strawberry floated off down a corridor, she has no idea where
he's going, shes based this on the fact the space jocky was
woken up and went mental and killed everyone. maybe he killed
them because he's not a morning person, maybe he killed them
because he's a nutter, guess we'll never know, but we do know
that she was nowhere to be seen when the space jocky set
course for earth.
and so back to my original point, two under developed
characters decide to kill themselves for the better good and
we're supposed to care... i didn't even know their names.
the spacejocky ship with a sole living spacejocky. why didn't
that ship take off? the spacejocky went into hypersleep and
waited to be found? what happened that caused him to be put
into hypersleep and then the rest get killed and the ship not
take off? infact it makes no sence because he wasn't alone,
four, strawberry floating FOUR other spacejockys were locked
in that ship with him and stood at guard at the door until
they died standing up. none of this is explained, when what
ever went down in that spacejocky "cave" happened why didn't
that ship take off, we see a hologram that the jockys were
there, the ship is operational, 1 jocky in hypersleep, four
other as guards and it didn't take off...?
david.
david over two years has learnt alot of languages and such
and can read, and somehow speak spacejocky language. fair
enough.
the spacejocky's have locked the doors in this comtainment
warehouse or military base.
now lets say you didn't know a language, over two years you
learn a language used for somewhere you were going, you go to
that place and you find a locked door, your going to come up
against this...
now regardless of how much of a language you learn you are
not going to be able to randomly know combinations to unlock
doors, its bullshit, i don't expect this bullshit from
scott.
anther problem with David i don't get is why so much focus
was on him? in my opinion he was used to pose questions and
interactions with the other characters about when's a robot
not a robot, what it is to be human, where are the lines
between AI and the human "soul" blurred. guess what, i've
seen this done before, and better, in another scott film, its
called blade runner, it felt really forced to me in
Prometheus.
the end is lexx.
a woman on an alien space ship with a robot head, which is
basically lexx.
