There is no longer such a thing as the "common phone call". With all the new features and benefits that service providers have put out there, there is nothing much we have to do. We now have call waiting, caller id, voicemail boxes and all this other fun stuff. But this is just the beginning. Advancements have made huge improvements in the art of the phone call. The most recent of these advancements being VoIP or "Voice Over Internet Protocol". This VoIP phone service allows the transfer of a phone call over simple internet connection. VoIP is much more efficient than a standard line telephone and much more cost effective as well. The transmission time of a VoIP call is much less therefore costing you much less money, beating other competitors right out of the water. Any VoIP provider are able to set you up with the VoIP phone service. The services that you get tend to vary from provider to provider. The standard features of a normal phone call comes free of charge, where as normal phone service providers will charge significient amounts of money. Things such as caller ID, return call, call waiting, three way calling and call transfer all come free with VoIP phone service. Depending on the provider, you may also be able to get filtering for your calls and the neat little feature that attaches messages to emails and being able to check voicemail. As great as VoIP phone is, there are a couple of downsides. Depending on the service provider some suppliers will only let you call others who have also subscribe to the VoIP network. You may also be able to subscribe to a minute plan which lets you buy a certain amount of minutes and you can use only that amount say per month. Some plans will let you have an unlimited amount of calls for a set amount that you pay every month. It is reccomended that you do a little research before signing up with a VoIP dealer. Make sure the plan is right for you and your needs whether you are staying at home with your ki ds or a businessman on the go.
