An emergency landing at Springbank Airport Monday afternoon. The landing gear on a light plane failed to engage so the pilot was forced to make a belly landing. The plane ended up on its nose and the pilot walked away from the crash. The Cessna 310 has since been taken off the runway and to a hanger. The pilot of a twin-engine charter plane and two passengers have died in a crash near a First Nation community north of Sioux Lookout. The wreckage of the plane owned by Lockhart Air Services was spotted Sunday by Canadian Forces Search and Rescue 22 kilometres south of Cat Lake First Nation.
