I would say it is just as good as the scoripo, if not a little better in some ways... there is a built in mercury tilt sensor as well as a shock sensor built in to the module which helps from needing to buy all those add-ons. The siren could be louder, but its alright. The biggest downfall with this product is the installation... unless you have some type of electrical knowledge as well as knowledge of your motorcycle... you will need to get it professionally installed.

(More customer reviews)This kit is CHEAPLY MADE. only ONE of the 5 wires had connectors that were crimped properly. 2 of them pulled right off with barely any force and we had to recrimp them. The contacts and rubber covers are cheap too.
The only good part about it seems to be the wire itself, which Im sure, they dont make themselves.
They do seem to work okay, but it is probably cheaper to go buy good wire, and make your own. Thats what it looks like these guys did.

The Tri-Phase module utilizes a triad of operating parameters that enable the user to select their desired performance level. The Tri-Phase functions by intercepting sensor outputs, modifying them, and outputting them to the vehicle's onboard computer. The Tri-Phase module is also compatible with most popular performance upgrades such as aftermarket intake, exhaust, and ignition systems, low boost forced induction systems, lightened and/or underdrive pulley kits, grounding kits, and many others. The Tri-Phase enhances performance in multiple ways. First, it modifies signals being read by the ECU, causing an adjustment to the fuel curve, which is what creates the increase in horsepower and torque, as well as improves throttle response and shift speed. When the ECU sees these modified signals it provides a different set of fuel and ignition maps than it would under factory operating conditions. A second feature of the Tri-Phase is it's "High-Heat Signal Correction." In short, when the engine compartment heats up, some sensors that relay pertinent fuel curve contingent information to the ECU begin to lose accuracy due to heat absorption into the sensor. The ECU then reads these incorrect signals, and leans out, or otherwise incorrectly alters the fuel curve, which hampers performance. These errors cannot be corrected from within the computer, there must be an independent unit to correct these errors. The Tri-Phase is designed to automatically compensate for these signal errors. By the way, this EXACT set of tools with open-style case is available at Sears for almost half the price. Don't get burned like I did. I ordered here because I wanted the fully-enclosed style case, which I didn't get.

To enter the ID code, follow this procedure.
Entering "Setting mode":
(1) Close and lock all doors.
(2) Insert and remove the key from the ignition more than six times within 10 seconds. (The hazard warning lamp will then flash twice.) At this time, the original ID codes are eliminated.
ID code entry:
(3) Turn ignition key to "ACC" position.
(4) Push lock button on the new remote controller once (for example, if door is locked using the remote controller during this ID code entry enable state, a new ID code can be entered). At this time, the new ID code is entered. (The hazard warning lamp will then flash twice.)
Additional ID code entry
(5) If you need to activate additional remote controllers, unlock the driver's door, then lock again with door lock knob.
(6) Push lock button on the additional new remote controller once.
(7) This ID code entry enable state and setting mode remain until the driver's door is opened.
NOTE
If you need to activate more than two additional new remote controllers, repeat the procedure "Additional ID code entry" for each new remote controller.

Entry of maximum four ID codes is allowed and any attempt to enter more will be ignored.

I also don't like that they aren't a round fitting where the wire slides in, they have bumps/dimples I guess to keep the wire in once there? I didn't like it. They also seem to be somewhat bulky compared to my factory wire separators... I didn't even bother to keep them on, I just replaced my worn out factory separators with some from a donor car.

(More customer reviews)Although there are some unwritten details about this alarm and it takes some getting used to, it is a very well made alarm. One neat feature that is not obvious in the manual is if the alarm is triggered and the remote is within 10 feet, the icons will flash to show a trigger, but the alarm will not go off. It "knows" you are there and the vehicle is safe. The perimeter feature and internal back-up battery (in case someone accesses the alarm and disconnects the power source) are also two nice perks. The perimeter feature will warn away someone in the vicinity, and will go off if the intruder doesn't leave. Even though it says to charge the remote daily, you probably could go at least 3 weeks without charging it. The effective range of the alarm in a city is about a quarter mile. This is my first experience with a paging alarm, and it is highly recommended if you want this type of alarm for your bike.

It took probably 3 hours to install...the hardest part was removing all the body panels..i ordered the factory harness which makes it easier, but if you can trace a wire from a tail light, or blinker you will have no problem. If you install the anti hijack feature, you WILL have to cut one wire, and splice into the ignition circuit, i just used the wire from
the ignition at the fuse box area...it was the easiest to find...and although i didn't need to use them, I have read many reviews that gave the tech support people high marks...so if you can afford it...i would recommend this alarm in a heartbeat !!!

(More customer reviews)I'm not a gear head. Don't have a shop full of once-in-a-blue moon tools. I can change my plugs and fiddle with my carb- that's about it. But I have a 70' Ford F-100 with a 360 engine and I love my truck...way more than mechanical knowledge can express. Luckily, some awesome nerds got together some time ago and figured out a way to implement more modern firing and timing systems into the existing distributor.
My experience with this product came as result of nearly having my ears blown off when my truck backfired. Everyone in the neighborhood ducked, getting up slowly to look around. I knew something was up before this happened. My truck had been having very rough acceleration. I thought/hoped it was my carb (cause I can mess with that). After some fiddling and the neighbors ducking a couple more times I finally found a mechanic who would answer my questions- turned out...duh, my points are off.
Now I grew up with cars that were quiet and smooth and didn't have any of this points business. So naturally...I had no idea how to change them...or honestly how they worked. But I do know how to do math. My points were last set about a year and a half ago. It cost me about [...] bucks. I had seen the pertronix products in the LMC trucks catalogs. I figure if they improve my fuel economy/horsepower and give me smoother and more even acceleration response AND I can skip the trip to the mechanic every year then why not try them out. I also bought the flame thrower II (it's recommended). Total cost $[...].
Install was really easy, although the instructions could have used some more diagrams and to have been a little more comprehensive/thorough. I guess they figure everyone who buys these products knows every inch of their truck...well not me and I wasted valuable minutes of my life pondering a few phrases. The only weird thing to watch in my particular install was that the starter wire goes on the left of the ignition coil now instead of the right. I already had premium bosch spark plugs...if you don't I highly recommend them. Also if you install this product you can play with your carb to make the mix a little leaner/thicker if you want. I would also adjust the idle while you're at it...my idle rpms jumped substantially from the added punch and precise timing.
The end result has been fantastic. I feel like I have a brand new truck. It's so responsive through the whole rpm cycle. Reduced vibration. Improved fuel economy (very slight). But the performance is a huge improvement. I wish I had done this when I first bought my truck three years ago. Most people know some of the best money spent in improving a vehicle is done in the firing chain. This product is perfect example of that. It's given me the best driving experience my truck has likely offered in decades. Best of all my neighbors no longer cowar in fear when I drive by but instead wave and smile.

The wiring is a nightmare in that you must hook two wires to a "switched" positive wire. I gave up trying to prob into the ignition system to find such a wire and just hooked them both up to a hot on all the time wire.
