Summary: Ancient Mysteries Blog

MysteryPile collects and explores ancient mysteries from our ancestors in an effort to create a unified theory. We're constantly looking for further leads discussing ancient mystery, natural phenomena, time and space references, unexplainable events and places, all found in the past. By relating this information to present day, we hope to formulate a better understanding of our ancestors. http://www.mysterypile.com

All Known Existence

Quantum physics suggests the existence of multiple universes and that mankind may be able to access these realms in the not too distant future. Usually these scenarios are played out with great advances in technology, super computers, and complex machines. Perhaps exploration in the quantum universe begins within a mind which already allows one to travel into the past and imagine the future. Meditation and clairvoyant practices help condition the human brain into becoming a positive receptor for universal energies. By strengthening the subconscious link to the cosmos mankind might discover new ways of traversing the universe without leaving Earth. How this knowledge is attained remains a deeply philosophical idea. Each day is a step closer to knowing the truth.

Ancient Earth Mysteries II Philosophy

Fall of 2012 marks the time for a new journey for American author J.C. Vintner.  The second book in his Ancient Earth Mysteries series is scheduled for public access and promises a whole slew of new concepts and theories over researched subject matter. Links between the present and past are becoming more evident as time presses forward and a master concept will reveal an idea which may astonish the deepest of thinkers.

Philosophy influences a number of great changes in world history, and many theorized concepts have blazed a path toward modern technological advances. What does this mean for the future and how will it change our past? Is it possible that humans have shared a subconscious link to each other and the Universe before they were born? If so, how could anyone access this realm and benefit from knowledge residing within? Learn more this fall with J.C. Vintner's new paperback, Ancient Earth Mysteries II,  Philosophy.

SETI@home MysteryPile Team

BOINCTeamAncientMysteries Interested in putting a computer to good use while you work or during idle time? SETI@home is one of many shared/grid computing experiments designed to pool the resources of Internet-connected computers in order to interpret large amounts of data without waiting years for the results. The software is fully configurable allowing specific resource allocations and at what time of day they're processing. A small percentage of the CPU and GPU can be dedicated to crunching numbers while the computer is in use, and a larger percentage can decipher between hibernation or all night long for newer energy efficient desktops.  The beauty of group computing projects is that anyone with an internet connected PC can help search for extraterrestrial life, solve complex mathematical problems, study the Earth's gravitational field, and much much more. University of California BOINC projects have published results and are categorized by specific research fields. We have been participating with SETI@home over many years privately. Recently, with a generous donation of a dedicated grid experiment research computer, we created a public team in hopes of inspiring others to join the search.

Quantum Physics & Philosophical Thinking

A recent hot topic emerging in several online social groups deals with the idea of quantum physics and its tie to deep philosophical thinking. Mankind's next leap might be a journey into the mind instead of space travel as some SciFi gurus maintain as the next logical step in current technological evolution. Breakthroughs in thought-sciences and new philosophical thinking is beginning to change the way the world is perceived.  The question of life is the biggest one of all and it's a wise decision to begin to look inward to understand ourselves to the fullest extent possible before we discover a distant civilization toying with technologies beyond our current capabilities. Until such an event occurs involving the discovery of life on another planet, solar system, galaxy, or even universe, it is probably best to understand just what we know and what that knowledge equates to. While walking a fine, delicate line, we must understand our position in the greater scheme of existence and the gravity of our thoughts. Everyone has philosophical capabilities, they just need to believe and the rest will be created.  -- J.C. Vintner

2012 Plan Overview

The new year to J.C. Vintner means a number of new projects, including a new book outlining modern alternative prophetic thinking based on a refined human perception of life in the Universe. Foundation work on the book is currently in progress with a publishing date goal for late fall of 2012. Tension is mounting around the globe as time progresses closer and closer to a predicted cycle change dear to many ancient civilizations. Current environmental concerns, foreign conflicts, and new age theories are steadily opening the eyes of a sleeping population while consistently drawing attention to heavily studied ancient prophecies. Time will tell, but will we be willing to listen?

Disrupting the Timeline

An Ancient Footprint.
Are present day humans unknowingly affecting the past timeline through a type of physics? Compelling quantum theories suggest the past, present, and future occur simultaneously, meaning that if anything is changed at a certain point time, it will alter other points in time.  If this were true, could it explain strange findings such as human evidence below lava flows, figurines and metal objects found encased in coal, sandstone and coral, fragments which look like nails and bullets in amber, and several other related anomalies?  Does quantum theory lend merit to the idea that we might be changing our past unwillingly? Fossilized foot prints were discovered in New Mexico in 1987, including a modern human print fused into Permian strata which dates between 290 to 248 million years ago, a time considered to be well before even dinosaurs existed on Earth. The creditable find was deemed problematica by mainstream science and shoved in a closet due to the fact it can not be explained by any conventional means. Photo courtesy of (Jerry MacDonald).

Planet Hunting with an iPhone

A bit ago we mentioned one of the citizen science projects from Zooniverse online, decoding an ancient papyri. The Ancient Lives project is just one of many designed to engage the public in discovery and research. Another very fun one we like to dabble with is the Planet Hunters project. Recently, Zooniverse published information regarding two exoplanets discovered with their system, using data acquired from the Kepler telescope. The Kepler team announced the citizen discovery in a paper marking the time and phase of each transit.  Unfortunately, MysteryPile did not discover either of the transits, but we will keep trying! We have classified 360 galaxies since August using an iPhone app called Galaxy Zoo. The app is great to keep busy with on road trips and it's awesome to know our contributions are helping a greater cause. If you're not sure where to begin classifying star data with Galaxy Zoo, check out their blog after creating an account. It's only accessible to members and will take you through the process step by step to ensure you're doing the best classification you can. The Kepler team's paper is currently published at: http://arxiv.org/PS_cache/arxiv/pdf/1109/1109.4621v1.pdf and further information about Planet Hunters is available at: http://www.planethunters.org/

Help Decode an Ancient Papyri

When there is a little extra time we try to contribute to Zooniverse who offers several citizen science projects online. Sifting through large amounts of data requires a large base of researchers which is made possible by very unique web software. Their latest release is a live project called Ancient Lives. In the project, anyone can scan through a 1,000 year old papyri discovered in Oxyrhynchus (Oxyrhynchon polis), the City of the Sharp-Nosed Fish. Zooniverse's goal here to is transcribe literally thousands of ancient papyri including literature, legal proceedings, unseen gospels, and the work of Plato. The software works in a specific way to allow anyone to make matches to the papyri without knowing any Greek.  If you'd like to join up for the project and help decode an important part of our past, please check out http://ancientlives.org to sign up and find more information.
