I'm looking into subscribing to a £20 a month deal on mobile broadband with 3. It comes with a net book and in the deal summary it says "Use Skype on your PC anywhere. With 3 you can use Skype on your mobile, or on your PC, giving you free calls to Skype users anywhere in the world". Does this mean - even if I run out of my 1GB memory of mobile broadband - I can use Skype whenever?

This is a question best answered by 3Network. My guess is that since Skype is an internet based phone system it follows your data plan (1 GB) so once you have used that up you face what ever charges that 3 applies to over usage. This is not a Skype charge, the charge would be from 3 Network. Best to ask 3 networks though, I live in the US and am sure that AT&T, Sprint or Verizon would charge us this way, though we mostly have plans that include unlimited data.
