ago. My husband and I use it all the time. My husband suffers from
back pain, and her machine helps reduce the pain tremendously. We
need this machine to move all day long. Right now I'm looking to
buy another one to keep in my basement besides the one I keep in my

after watching them with him, I plan to use them also. They have
both men and women performing the exercises and some great routines
for beginner to advanced. If you can't afford a personal trainer to

reviews)The DVD goes through all the basics of contest
preparation - the four mandatory poses, hair, makeup, accessories,
what to expect on competition day, tanning, how to find the right
posing suit, training, and nutrition. It does an okay job touching
on all the major highlights giving you a decent run-through of what
to expect and how to properly prep for it.
My biggest con is with the overall production with the DVD - it is
beyond terrible and makes watching certain parts just down right
unbearable. Many of the hosts or "figure coaches" as they are
referred to in the dvd seem robotic, disengaged, and at times
rather ditzy. You would think they would at least edit out the
parts where they spend several moments bumbling through lines and
forgetting parts but they didn't - its all on there for you to
suffer through. It gets really distracting following along when the
figure coach can't get through their particular part or (like in
one scene) totally forgot what they were going to
say...pause...look off camera...pause...then recall what they were
supposed to say. Again, not horrendous overall, but i wish i
would've spent my money on a posing-specific DVD.

reviews)I'll keep this short & sweet. I'm a MASSIVE
Charles Glass fan. This is what spurred me to buy this DVD to begin
with.
BUT, honestly, I have to say this DVD set is AWFUL. I'm a trained,
certified Fitness & strength coach professonal. I'm not
allocating blame to any one thing or individual, but this material
is terrible.
Funny thing is, Charles IS a first class trainer BUT this footage
is nothing like "getting cut with glass" or his appearances
training pro athletes on other DVD titles.
As the title says, approach with caution. I was EXTREMELY
disappointed.

reviews)This can be a killer tape at first until you get
used to it, but once you get going, don't stop and don't skip a day
if you can help it. If you have discipline, motivation, and really
want to trim and firm your tummy, this is the tape for you. Each
day is a different combination of exercises. For all 7 days,
Richard does a set of exercises for the first half, then he repeats
them for a second time. Take a quick pause if you have to
in-between the sets, that's what the button is for, but do your
best to get through the complete two sets. You won't regret it. I
found it better to have a floor mat to protect your back. I was
adjusting the exercises at first to get through them, but as I
found myself getting stronger over the weeks, it was easier to do
the two sets in a row as per the tape. I do my 7 minutes first
thing in the morning, take a short break, and then go on to other
aerobics or weight lifting exercises / tapes. This tape is very to
the point and there is no irritating "chit-chat" - the majority of
audio is strict instruction about the exercises. Definitely not a
"fluffy" tape.

reviews)This workout is part of the Firm's 4th Body
Sculpting System which introduces the Transfirmer, a 5 in 1 piece
of equipment similar to the Fanny Lifter but longer in length. It
comes in 2 pieces, a 6 inch and 8 inch platform used individually
for aerobics, stacked on top of one another for leg presses and
tall box climbs, in an incline position for aerobics or strength
work, and in a side by side position. It is a very versatile piece
of equipment and is very stable.
This workout is led by Stephanie Huckabee, who is joined by 4
fellow Firm Master Instructors including Alison who shows beginner
modifications. The workout is just over 30 minutes and alternates
upper body work with aerobic segments.
You begin with a simple warmup using the 6 inch portion of the
Transfirmer, then you will move into upper body work working the
chest and triceps. Pushups are first, with varying counts and
tempos, halftime and 2-2 count. These are done on the Transfirmer
but you have the option of just doing them on the floor if that is
more comfortable. Then you will lie on the Transfirmer set up in
the incline position or on the floor and do bench presses, first
with both arms, then alternating one at a time, I use lighter
weights for this segment as the one arm at a time is more
challenging. Then you move in triceps bench presses followed by pec
flies. Lying tricep extensions complete this section, where the
same weight is used throughout.
Next is a short hi-lo impact cardio section, Alison performs all
low impact, jacks, shuffles, calf pumps and knee lifts are some of
the moves you will see in this segment.
Tricep and shoulder work is next, you will start with tricep dips,
then move into a tough shoulder segment starting with overhead
presses with palms inward, then you will do overhead presses with
rotation (twisting in at the top). Then you will quickly grab
lighter weights and do a segment of front and side deltoid raises
with some variation. My shoulders are always on fire after this
segment, tough.
More cardio is next, this time a fun step segment using the
Transfirmer in the incline position. Hamstring curls, rock steps,
sambas, knee lifts and repeaters are some of the moves that you
will see.
Now it's time to work back and biceps. You will start with double
arm bent rows in a seated position, then you will move into hammer
curls, some of them alternating arms. Then you will stand up and do
wide bent over rows with a slightly lighter weight, then move back
to biceps with angled bicep curls. All of these have varied counts
and tempos.
More step aerobics are next, this is a fun segment that is peformed
on the 8 inch section of the Transfirmer. I myself use the 6 inch
section as does Alison, it's just more comfortable for me. Knee
lifts, knee tapovers, turn steps, over the tops, and hamstring
curls are included in this segment. Lots of fun.
The final upper body segment follows, working the shoulders and
biceps. You will start with clean and presses, then move into bicep
curls, then upright rows, all of these with some alternating of the
arms. You will finish out with a set of rear deltoid lifts with
varied tempos.
More step aerobics on the 8 inch section of the Transfirmer follow.
You will see turn steps, over the tops, V steps, hamstring curls, A
steps, jacks and other moves. Cooldown and stretch immediately
follows.
This is a great compact workout, hits all the upper body muscles
plus includes a variety of cardio in just 30 minutes. I often use
this in combination with Jiggle Free Buns, which is a similar
workout but for the lower body. I find that I get a great workout
with these 2 in an hour. Stephanie is one of my favorite Firm
instructors and she does not disappoint in this workout. She has
Jiggle Free Arms herself that I would like to have one day. But you
will also see Annie in the back who has great definition,
definitely the buffest Firm instructor I have seen in a video. I
highly recommend this one.

step ups, squats, lunges, and the like. This dvd has three phases.
I am only on phase one, but that gives me room to grow. I like what
I feel when I am doing this dvd and to be
honest I am a nut for the stability ball. As I grow older,
presently 49, I see the need for more and more stretching and
balance work. I think that this workout will not only slim down my
lower body as I progress, but will aid in maintaining good posture
as I age. I have several stability ball(swiss ball) workouts but
Adam's set is quickly becoming my favorite. Really a good
non-traditional approach. High recommend. I'm looking forward to
his Upper Body workout to arrive in the mail.

reviews)I wasn't sure at first whether to buy this
video. I wondered whether the exercises were all that different
than the usual ab work, and if one actually winds up using it
frequently enough to make it worth paying $30 for a twelve-minute
workout.
I eventually decided to take the risk and buy it, and I have to
say, I've been extremely pleased. It doesn't give an intense burn
like a 40 minute ab video, but it is very focused, the exercises
are unusual enough not to be boring (though crunches are in there
too), and it does give the feeling of being tighter after doing it.
I also really like that he has a pelvic tilt exercise (for the
transverse abdominis muscle) and two lower back exercises to
balance out the ab work.
Also, while I don't do it every day, I've found that this is the
one video I turn to when I want to do *something* physical that
day, but am too tired/don't have enough time to do an hour or
something.
The enclosed booklet has descriptions of all the exercises with
photos and muscle explanations. Brilliant!
This is not a video which promises magic weight loss or a complete
transformation. But it is a good little ab workout, and you're
likely to do it more often than the longer, more intense videos.
Little by little, that work takes its effect. I should also mention
that, pharaoh outfit aside, this video would be useful for *anyone*
looking to slip a little ab exercise into their schedule. None of
the moves are bellydance moves -- they're just ideal for dancers
who need a powerful core.

alternated this with some of her other ones and if you're looking
for a great work out to do on those mornings you don't have much
time this is one of the ones that you will enjoy. It is well

I am someone who does not like to exercise. Through walking with
Leslie Sansone I have begun to finally realize that, even though I
don't want to exercise, once I walk a little, I feel infinetely
better, healthier. I have tried to do yoga before. I bought a nice,
easy video from someone and I could not do it. I hurt my back,
couldn't do any exercise for months, it was so depressing. About a
year passed and I decided to give yoga another try, since I have
back problems and thought yoga might help. I bought a yoga video
and it was more of the same, I couldn't do the poses, the
instructors were super skinny and wanted you to be a human
rubberband and I am not.
Recently, I saw that Leslie Sansone had a yoga video and I thought,
never mind, I'm not going to waste my money again. As I read some
of the reviews I thought I would give it a try, but this would be
the last time. Once I received this DVD, I was finally able to do
yoga instantly! I couldn't believe yoga could be so easy and feel
so good. I actually look forward to doing yoga now and to
exercising. I've been doing yoga every day since I got the tape and
I want to highly recommend this DVD to anyone out there who has
never tried yoga and who may think they can't do it because they
are not skinny or flexible. I am not skinny. If I can do it, anyone
can do it and the benefits are amazing! You will feel great once
you do this workout and you will feel empowered enough to order a
more thorough one, like the one I just ordered - Yoga for

trying to exercise and not being able to because other exercises
would be to painful. I have tried other tapes and found I could
only do some exercises. There are three levels to this tape and
before you know it you are done. It is the shortest half hour
exercise I have ever done. I feel energetic, streched out and
looking forward to the next time I do the exercise routine. I
recommend this for everyone who needs to flatten their abs and
strenthen thier lower back muscles.

reviews)I don't see why everyone is hatin' on the Flirty
Girl Fitness collection of dvds.
A) It does as promises, gives you firm, shapely curves, during a
workout that is fun enough to keep you interested, moving, and
sweating.
Apart from Video Vixen, each DVD varies enough to keep it fun,
AND YOU FEEL SEXY THE ENTIRE TIME!
I don't know if that matters to anyone else, but it matters to me.
I want to feel great on my way to looking great. Half the battle is
getting motivated, and these DVDS do not drag on, so I maintain
interest.
I do recommend, and even if it may be a little slutty, and some of
the workouts unnecessary (Chair Dance) Booty Beat, Abs + Booty, and
Chair Fit are all excellent fitness videos.
BELIEVE the hype, and ignore all the hatred. They are great fitness
DVDS!

reviews)As disappointed as I was with Step Up To Dance,
that's how happy I am with Dance To Fitness. The moves are done
slowly, with posture, balance and strength being emphasized. The
first segment is about 35 minutes long and is considered the
"warm-up". I, for one, was dripping sweat by the end of that
segment. The second segment is done with Lisa Wheeler who I really
like. Then there is a wonderful stretch. As a 44 year old former
aerobics instructor/belly dancer with osteoarthritis in my back and
neck and with another disability that is a daily challenge, this is
a workout that I can do, enjoy and feel that I'm getting alot out
of. I highly recommend this tape.
