(More customer reviews)My boyfriend's nephew loves this gift I gave him for Christmas. The blaster shoots pretty far for such a small product with enough force. The objects being blasted are soft & won't cause injury. Beware of an oncoming attack: we experienced a surprise one with foam bullets raining on us while watching a movie.
Its large, too. & as you know, size does matter. I wouldn't buy it for my two year old brother, but it was perfect for the five year old recipient.

(More customer reviews)This set of 700 basic lego blocks is a good value. This is a nice set for making buildings, but it does not include wheels for making cars. Of the sets out there, this is one of the more colorful sets with two shades of green and two shades of blue blocks. The golden brick is unique, but it is hardly the reason to buy this. The box works fairly well for storage and can fit under the couch when not in use. As is the case in all of these sets, you get a fair number of smaller 1x1 and 1x2 bricks, but for under fourty dollars you get a lot of bricks. It would be nice if they included some wheels, but you might consider looking at lego dot com to add specific pieces that you like. Also, you might consider buying some used pieces (even dating back to the 1970s) from bricklink dot com.

(More customer reviews)My 3 year old son received this for his birthday this weekend. He hasn't stopped playing with it since we opened it up. I agree with the previous reviewer that the track feels kind of flimsy, but so far my boys have twisted the track a few times and it doesn't seem any worse for the wear. My 3 year old has no problem reseting the springs by himself. Rolling up the track when he is finished has been "mom's job" though. I think my favotite thing about this toy is that 2 cars race side by side, so both my boys can play together and so far NO ARGUMENTS!!! A toy they can actually share! Man, I'd pay double just for that added perk! Another awesome feature is that the track rolls, up and the toy becomes incredibly compact with storage for 2 cars. Overall, a great toy for your little car fanatic and a good deal for the money.

Now, two weeks later, the entire drum is in pieces. You are better off getting the Little Einsteins My First Instruments Play Set. It's much more durable and can take the banging of a 3 year old aspiring rock star.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this product for my 5 yr old daughter at the beginning of August. It was backordered so I didn't receive it for a few weeks. She was just gifted this toy yesterday. As soon as she started playing with this I knew I had to write a review.
First of all, it is very delicate and the pieces are very, very small. The biggest problem with this castle is that it is tall and very, very thin. It kept falling over and then all the turrets and things would fall off and roll across the floor. We had to use epoxy to glue all the turrets in place and glued the whole unit to part of a dry erase board we had from an easel we no longer use. It has made all the difference! Now she can play with it to her hearts content and I don't have to be putting it back together every 2 minutes.
I am disappointed that I spent [...]on this and had to spend additional money and energy to make it usable at all. I don't know how you create a castle like this and have it not cross your mind that it is top heavy and too slim. It would have been painfully obvious if they did any kid testing on this product! IT NEEDS TO BE MOUNTED ON A BASE!!!! But they left that for us to take care of.
Like I said also, the parts are very fragile and the bubbles on the tub and the blanket on the bed easily come off as well. There is a little "doo dad" used to put the dolls feet into that allows them to dance up top, slip into the bath and bed, and go up into the elevator. They are small and made of clear plastic so easy to lose (and you only get 2). They are also too hard for a little girl to get the feet into by themselves.
Overall, this toy has turned out to be more work than anything else. It is expensive if you ask me and poorly made for the money. My daughter LOVES it however. Just be prepared to spend some additional time, money and energy with this toy. I am glad they finally did make a castle for the princess "Polly Pockets" but just wish it was better made.

Little Tikes Motorcycle Hauler Review

(More customer reviews)Honestly, the truck that hauls the toys gets mostly ignored but the motorcycles OVERJOY my son. I bought them when he was a bit over 18 mos - he loves motorcycles and it's almost impossible to find a well designed motorcycle toy for the under 3 set, so this toy is definitely worth it.
No chokable parts, very durable and chunky enough that it probably won't get lost under the fridge, couch or low table (which as we all know can cause a mini-meltdown). It's great that you get two motorcycles, one for each grabby toddler hand, hahahahaha.

Everything about this set is garbage from the construction to how the mix is pressed through for the brownies. I spent more time doing everything since my daughter couldn't get it to work right. The sprinkle part dumps out too fast.

I bought the first Savannah dollhouse, four years ago, for a granddaughter, who will shortly turn seven. It is still the certerpiece of her room. The dollhouse still looks as if it's new, and my grandaughter still loves and plays with it. This beautiful, colorful, and very sturdy dollhouse, has stood the test of time, and has passed with flying colors. I was also surprised with the included oversized, and very sturdy furniture, that is easy to handle, and still looks great. I have more granddaughters, that will need dollhouses in the future, and I know that this one will be available, years from now. Don't hesitate to buy this dollhouse, it's a winner!

(More customer reviews)My son loves cars, trucks, trains etc. and wants to drive our real cars, so I thought this would be a perfect substitute, his own car! I bought this for his second birthday, the first day he was unsure about it, but by the next day he was zipping all over the driveway, the yard and sidewalk. This is a great toy. The battery last about 2 1/2 days (my son only drives it about a maximum of an hour a day and I leave it unplugged/not charging) and by the third day I have to charge it. The only thing he had to learn is to press the button for reverse. For the first few months he would only drive forward but after working with him to understand the concept of backing up he got it. It doesn't go that fast (about 3mph), but it is fast enough for his age.

(More customer reviews)The Bachmann HO Overland Limited Train Set is an absolutely beautiful train set if all you want to do is look at it. If you want to operate the Overland Limited Set or play with it, BUY SOMETHING ELSE: The wheels fall off and will not stay on as the train navigates the snap-fit tracks built for it. The Train does not get around the entire loop of tracks without losing nearly all its wheels on the main car as well as the accompanying nine cars. Flipping the switch on the terminal rerailer amounts to a derailment because the wheels can't handle turns. The worst part is the merchants selling this product know this and will not accept returns or issue refunds or exchanges once the item has been opened. It is a very expensive Train Set which is frustrating especially when I think about the fact that I purchased it as my kid's first really expensive toy for $198.60 and my kid didn't play with it for more than five minutes before the wheels fell off. Mind you, this is just while he is watching the train navigate the snap-fit tracks.

"We purchased this for my 2yr olds birthday. We have a 3yr old as well and they both love it. They sit in the booth all the time and mostly play with the ice cream. They love to pour the coffee in my cup in the morning. It is much smaller than I anticipated and a good choice if space is limited. It was fairly easy to put together"
"This is a very sturdy and well made product. My children have had it for over a month now and nothing has broke. I am even able to squeeze into the seat! My older children 8 and 10 love the kitchen almost as much as the 2 year old. All of the accessories are great as well. The ice cream and cones being their favorite!!

(More customer reviews)This is a pretty slick water gun. As you turn the handle, the nozzles turn as well (like a machine gun?). Anyway, the added plus here is that it is far easier for smaller children to turn the handle on this than pull the trigger on some other water guns that need long hands with strong fingers. My 3 year old has no problems with this whatsoever. It is a family favorite. Not difficult to fill either. It is all plastic - and I would not expect it to last more than a season.
