If you have ever been there then you will surely agree that Glasgow
is a brilliant city with a thriving social scene and some of the
best clubs and pubs that you will ever visit. What many fail to
appreciate, though, is that the
Glasgow restaurant circuit is just as
exciting, varied and high class as its nightlife. Whether its a
cosy pub lunch you fancy or living it up five star style, Glasgow
has everything you could ever need. But with so much to choose
from, where do you begin. Well, I dont expect this small critique
will be master guide to the city's eateries, but here, in no
particular order are my personal favorites.
1. Michael Caines - situated in the centre of the city on
Bath street, Michael Caines sets new standards in chic. Dont be
fooled by the listed building however, for dining at MC's is a
truly modern and up to date affair with a wide range of sumptuous
contemporary dishes on offer. Its also worth pointing out that
Michael Caines is actually names after the chef who own it and not
the famous actor, although there are references to the latter in
the building. Mr Caine in this case is a top award winning chef
with an amazing pedigree, including an MBE. His dedication to
quality and excellence is evident everywhere and adds to the
experience in this restaurant. If you enjoy high quality dining in
a fantastic yet relaxed atmosphere then this is the lpace for
you.
2. Sloans Bar And Restaurant. If you like your dining
experience to be a bit different then you must check out Sloans -
after all it's the oldest Glasgow restaurant and pub. Not everyone
will love the ornate surroundings with their perfectly panelled
walls, and beautifully decorated cornices but its very in-keeping
with the listed building that holds it and is worthy of a visit
just to see the period features themselves. Food lovers will
appreciate the a 'la carte menu but even if you dont want to splash
out theres a wide selection of dishes from the several menus that
Sloans operates.
3. Dragon I. This is a relatively new addition to the
Glasgow restaurant scene, but its quickly gaining a solid
reputation for being one of the best Chinese restaurants in the
city - if not the land. This place is not like your local chinese
take-away. There are no strip lights and plastic forks here - in
fact everything is the last word in elegance and design. The
interior alone is more like an emperors palace, and the food - well
lets just say that it more than lives up to the stage it is set
in.
So, there you go, a quick resume of my favorite
Glasgow restaurant experiences. Whether
its traditional fare like fish and chips (or even fried Mars bars)
right up to the very finest French, Italian and even Mongolian
cuisine you desire, you will find it right here in Glasgow. Visit,
eat and enjoy.

taster to whet your appetite here are my personal favorites, in
no particular order of course.
1. Michael Caines - This oh-so chic restaurant is located
right in the heart of Glasgow on the beautiful Bath street, home
to some very exclusive residences and smart offices. The trendy
location echos the up-market and contemporary feel of this
recently opened restaurant. Dont be fooled by the listed building
however, for dining at MC's is a truly modern and up to date
affair with a wide range of sumptuous contemporary dishes on
offer. Incidentally, the Michael Caine in the name is not the
famous actor, but rather an award winning chef who has secured
top plaudits including AA'S Chef's chef of the year and an MBE
for services to the catering industry. You will immediately be
struck by his dedication to perfection and the pursuit of
excellence - the food and surrounding are a perfect example of
both. If you enjoy high quality dining in a fantastic yet relaxed
atmosphere then this is the lpace for you. 2. Sloans Bar And
Restaurant. Sloans is legendary in Glasgow. The city's oldest
pub and restaurant is actually a tourist attraction in its own
right and people come from far and wide to view the Grand
Ballroom, as well as the staircase and, of course sample the fine
ales and food available. The décor is stunning, featuring the
recently refurbished restaurant complete with its stunning
Georgian wood panelling and intricately carved cornices. The food
is excellent, and theres plent of it, but I partucularly like the
eat dine night which is held every Tuesday, that enables you to
take in a movie while eating your meal - just like being at home
as a little kid in front of the telly - fantastic! 3. Dragon
I. This new venue is getting a lot of publicity - and no
wonder why. If you love Chinese food - and lets face it, who
doesn't then you really need to visit Dragon I. This place is not
like your local chinese take-away. There are no strip lights and

So, there you go, a quick resume of my favorite Glasgow restaurant experiences. From
Mongolian, to Japanese, American to Spanish, Glasgow has it all.
Eat, enjoy and come back soon. Related Articles: Glasgow restaurant

First time visitors to Glasgow are often surprised at just how good
its pub and club scene really is. What many fail to appreciate,
though, is that the

exciting, varied and high class as its nightlife. No matter what

right in the heart of Glasgow on the beautiful Bath street, home to
some very exclusive residences and smart offices. The trendy
location echos the up-market and contemporary feel of this recently
opened restaurant. The whole experience at at MC's is in stark
contrast to the Victorian facade in which it resides for its the
last word in contemporary dining. At this point, I should point out
that Michael Caine actually refers to the chef - award winning and
MBE holder - who owns the restaurant, and not the well known and
much loved veteran British actor. You will immediately be struck by
his dedication to perfection and the pursuit of excellence - the
food and surrounding are a perfect example of both. Well worth a
visit if quality dining is your thing.
2. Sloans Bar And Restaurant. What can I say about Sloans
that hasn't already been said. Simply put its a Glasgow
institution. This is Glasgows oldest pub and restaurant and is
worth a visit even if you dont intend dining there - although if
you choose not to then you will be missing out on some of the best
food in the city as well. The decor is maybe not to everyones taste
- its ornate almost to the point of being vulgar - but theres no
getting away from the fact that its a unique dining experience.
Food lovers will appreciate the a 'la carte menu but even if you
dont want to splash out theres a wide selection of dishes from the
several menus that Sloans operates.
3. Dragon I. This new venue is getting a lot of publicity -
and no wonder why. If you love Chinese food - and lets face it, who
doesn't then you really need to visit Dragon I. In keeping with the
food, the surroundings are lavish and convey a feeling of warmth
and seclusion. The food, as I have hinted, is second to none - and
the Black Bean sauce is simply the best that I have ever tasted.
Please dont miss it.
So, there you go, a quick resume of my favorite
Glasgow restaurant experiences. One thing
is for sure, whatever your culinary tastes, Glasgow has it covered,
from Mongolian to Fish and Chips. Eat, enjoy and come back
soon.

The
Magniwork product is a revolution in the output
of no cost, clean electricity.
There are above 40,000 working units world-wide and this amount is
still growing each day. So why therefore, has no one in fact been
aware of this unique device?
Okay, one issue is the fact that main energy businesses and oil
firms don't want anyone to be aware that it is available.
This is because by creating ones own Magniwork generator its
actually possible for anybody, for an expense of a few hundred
dollars, and a bit of time spent creating it, to produce a
lifetimes supply of cost-free, environmentally friendly electrical
power. These devices works by utilizing a intelligent array of
magnets to push a compact flywheel. This flywheel is hooked up by
way of a gearing technique to a modest electrical generator which
basically creates the electrical power. Several whispers have
abounded in regards to this gadget and several sceptics have
reported bad technology, and downright lies towards many of the
claims the developers are making. Having said that, I like to allow
my own , personal practical knowledge do the talking and I can
certainly point out, without having concern with contradiction the
fact that the Magniwork method works.
All right, you will possibly not be able to power your whole home
by using a solitary system but with an average power output that
fulfills approximately 30-40% of the common needs of an average
family, it's a straightforward case of creating a few of these
systems to provide al of your requirements. The products by
themselves are quiet, need hardly any upkeep and generate
absolutely no poisonous or malevolent by-products so they can be
run inside or out and in virtually any weather conditions.
Naturally, in addition they work at night when solar panels will
not as well as in calm conditions when wind turbines don't
succeed.
This system might have it's naysayers but I'm not one of them. The
next time you peer at your power bill and groan, remember that
right now there is a different option, and its title is
Magniwork.
