Colibri T20 Android™ Preview Image Now Available!

of a preview image of the Colibri T20 Android™ BSP. It contains:

  • Fastboot boot loader
  • Linux 2.6.39.4 kernel
  • Android ICS 4.0.3 file system

Colibri T20 Linux Image V1.0 Now Available!


LinuxPenguin We are pleased to announce the release of version V1.0 of the Colibri T20 Linux BSP. This contains:

  • U-Boot 2011.06 boot loader
  • Linux 2.6.36.2 kernel
  • OpenEmbedded 2011.03 based root file system (using LXDE desktop environment)

You can download this version from our product download server here. There are no changes to this version from the previous V1.0 Beta. U-Boot and Linux kernel sources are available here and OpenEmbedded metadata is available here.

Colibri T20 Linux Image V1.0 Beta 6 Available


Toradex just released version V1.0 Beta 6 of the Colibri T20 Linux BSP containing:

- U-Boot 2011.06 boot loader
- Linux 2.6.36.2 kernel
- OpenEmbedded 2011.03 based root file system, using LXDE desktop environment

21’000 Euros Donation to the Red Cross


Thank you very much to our Customers!

We are pleased to inform you that your generous donations, which were collected by Toradex during Embedded World 2012 in support of the German and Swiss Red Cross, sum up to 21’000 Euros. Toradex representatives handed over this money to the Swiss Red Cross in Bern on March 12th. Half of this sum will transferred by the Swiss Red Cross the German Red Cross.

Colibri T20 Windows CE Images and BSP V0.1beta7 are Available


Toradex just released the version 0.1 beta 7 of the Colibri Tegra Windows CE 6 and Windows Embedded Compact 7 image and BSP.

Main changes are:
- Improved Boottime
- Fixed RTC
- Fixed Serial Drivers Problems
- Improved Flash Programming
- Custom Splash Screen Support

Linux Image V1.0 Beta 5 for Colibri T20 is Available


Toradex released version V1.0 Beta 5 of the Colibri T20 Linux BSP containing:

- spidev driver on default SPI pins (SPI4) without explicit pull-up/downs
- GMI with multiplexed nPWE and RDnWR

- improved display/video performance, now capable of doing dual full HD video decode
- Ethernet detection fault fix

Colibri PXA Windows CE Images and BSP V4.0 are Available


Toradex just released the version 4.0 of the Colibri PXA Windows CE 5 and CE 6 image and BSP.
The version is identical to the previous beta version V4.0beta1.
This version contains:
- A critical bootloader bugfix for Colibri PXA310 modules.
- Performance improvements for rotated screens.
- New features for bootloader and especially the bootloader kit.
- Bugfixes for serial driver, FlashDisk driver, Ethernet driver, and other bugfixes.

Toradex shows the fastest known booting to a fully fledged graphical operating system in 480 milliseconds


The demonstration shows an instant boot demo on a Colibri T20 featuring the NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor. The module boots into a WinCE 7 start up application in 800 milliseconds. The demo features full USB support, Touch support, 2D and 3D accelerated openGL and a total shell commander to browse the flash file system or execute programs. The low power system runs off a 9.6V Battery on a 7” TFT Display.
