Using a 3 kHz frequency for coins, White's DFX detected objects as

White's Matrix M6 is perfect for treasure hunting in sites littered
with trash. I prefer the Tone ID so that I can listen to
everything. Threshold nulls are something else I don't use at
trashy sites so a silent search is just fine with me.

If you want a powerful, yet simple machine, check out White's MXT

V3. Let me say straight away: this detector is not designed for a
new hunter. However, with experience -- and patience -- you can
understand the subtleties of this detector.

If you can find a used Spectrum XLT, you will be getting a great
deal. It has a feature known as SignaGraph object identification,
and it is an excellent way to determine what is iron and garbage
and when you should dig.
