Memorial Day in Pittsburgh, PA is a time to honor of those who gave their lives for our safety and freedom. We keep this in mind over all activities this day. In remembrance of your loved ones …
Sincerely,

We received a beautiful thank you letter (see below), and the picture above, from the Shaler Area School District. Each year they host a fundraiser where the school / children raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. They raised over $10,000 this year … WOO HOO!!! The winners of the fundraiser and two teachers received a “limo lunch” which consisted of riding in a limousine to and from the Hard Rock Café in Pittsburgh. They also had the privilege our touring the Make-A-Wish Foundation® headquarters and riding to some of the most popular attractions in Pittsburgh (Mt Washington and “The Point”). As you can see from the picture, they were a happy group.
“Somebody has to train these kids. Somebody has to teach them, and if not me, who? If not now, when? We must do it. It’s got to be done.” Oral Lee Brown
There is nothing like seeing the smiles of children from our community. They warm our hearts and provide the assurance that our limo company pleases even the youngest of generations through our hard work and dedication. On the other hand, in this case, we feel humbled and appreciative for the children and teachers in this picture because of their “servants heart”. Adults guiding children in this direction and their willingness to do for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® is not always “in the cards” these days – if you know what we mean? Meaningful fundraisers, like this, and rewarding children for their participation helps to foster another generation of “community” that cares for doing more than just the basics. Although these students were treated to a limo luncheon, the real prize was that these children met their Make-A-Wish Foundation® liaison, heard the stories and saw the pictures of children that received their wishes, and took a photo with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® mascot. Whether they understand this right now or not, we hope that they will remember this experience.
At least every time they see or
ride in a limousine (smile).
By the way, our other website has pages of testimonials / thank you letters / customer reviews of our limo services and chauffeurs. They rank from oldest to newest and are posted as we receive them. Our staff loves reading these letters almost as much as the service we provided to receive them. We proudly add this one to our “vault” of memories and new friends that we have made because when it all comes down to it …
Your happiness is our pleasure and vice versa!
“M” is for the million things she gave me,
“O” means only that she’s growing old,
“T” is for the tears she shed to save me,
“H” is for her heart of purest gold;
“E” is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
“R” means right, and right she’ll always be,
Put them all together, they spell “MOTHER,”
A word that means the world to me.

I Feel It In The Air
I know it’s Easter time again,
I feel it in the air.
The breath of spring with woodsy tang,
And new life everywhere.
And spring glides on with magic touch
O’er mountain side and glen;
And wakens all the sleeping plants
For Easter time again.
The brooklets leap from rock to rock,
As if in joyful play;
The flowers peep from darkened tombs
To welcome Easter Day.
The birds are swinging on the boughs,
And trill in ecstasy;
They seem to show the world’s great joy
Of Easter mystery.
Why should we dread
the thing called death?
It’s just an open door,
Where all within is love and peace
And joy forever more.
“Because I live, you too shall live,”
We hear the Savior say.
Let’s consecrate our lives anew,
On this glad Easter Day.

We are all “OOOOOOHs and AWWWWWWs” over this new dollarsignr9,269,400 electric-powered “superbus” designed by a team in the The Netherlands. Who wouldn’t be? It is a 23 passenger “Lamborghini” style limousine that is capable of up to 155 mph (250 kph). WOW!!!
Superbus is the inspiration of professor Wubbo Ockels (1st Dutch astronaut in space). He serves as project manager accompanied by Antonia Terzi (former chief aerodynamicist of the BMW-Williams Formula 1 team) as the head designer for the project and Joris Melkert, aerospace engineer, as head of logistics and infrastructure matters. The team are part of the AeroSpace for Sustainable Engineering & Technology (ASSET) program at Delft University of Technology. Sponsors have contributed, though funding has been predominantly by the Dutch state.
In addition to Superbus’s amazing speed and style, this 50 foot Superbus limousine is a sustainable design. Powered by lithium polymers, it is electrically powered limo that uses rechargeable batteries. The vehicle uses low energy because of it’s lightweight and “streamlined construction”. It has a Carbon fiber chassis and thermoplastic reinforced fiberglass body.
The prototype of Superbus was shown at the World Exhibition of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) in Dubai in 2011 in an attempt to attract investors for development of a test infrastructure. The Dutch transported the limo bus in a jet, and was driven between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Can you imagine riding in this super stretch
electric-powered Superbus?
