(More customer reviews)Yes, it's good for babies and there's little doubt that J&J expected to be primarily used to treat babies' diaper rashes and to help babies feel fresh and comfortable. It just happens that it's equally good for grownups. Grownups too want to feel fresh and comfortable and Baby Powder can address that need.
I learned the Baby Powder's secret the hard way. Many years ago, I developed a mild allergy - or intolerance - to most perfumes and fragrances. I simply could not use deodorants any longer but I had no problem with Baby Powder came to the rescue. To my surprise, I find it as good or better than most deodorants. Used after the morning shower it keeps me fresh for most of the rest of the day and my skin seems to tolerate it quite well.
Briefly, I like to use Baby Powder for the following reasons:
- does not irritate my skin
- keeps me feel fresh and clean for many hours
- discrete or no fragrance - does not broadcast its existence to the world
- lasts forever, for as long as it's not exposed to excessive moisture
- it's (relatively) inexpensive - when compared to the deodorant alternatives
To my surprise, I was able to use the fragrant varieties without adverse reactions. I normally used the unscented variety but I know of family members who would use the aloe or other flavors.
Note: Baby Powder is NOT supposed to be expensive. Look around for the best deals at this site as some offers are better than others.

(More customer reviews)My wife babysat our neighbor's baby and they used these diapers. She loves them and i do as well, however we attempted to use these on our newborn. Due to the constant changing it got frustrating, having to wash an insert maybe 10 minutes after we just changed the diaper. We fully intend to use them when she gets a bit older. On the plus side they fit great, was very easy to put use, and even to change, though i wouldn't recommend for newborn use.

(More customer reviews)I bought this kind of protector because they weren't selling the Prince Lionheart seat protector (I have been using one of those). I think the mats are okay, but the issue I have is that they are not very tough on the bottom, so when you're putting a heavy carseat on top of one in a car with leather seats, this protector won't protect your leather seats from being stretched by the car seat. The Prince Lionheart seat protector is really thick and tough on the bottom, so the contours of the car seat won't dig into your actual seat. These Kiddopotamus protectors are much softer, so they don't offer a lot of protection from stretching, although I'm sure they do fine for stains and such. All in all this product is well-made, but I would recommend it for cars with cloth upholstery and not leather. If you want something for leather, try the Prince Lionheart ones.

(More customer reviews)i love these little bibs. i say little, because even though they are the size of regular cloth bibs, the big size Bibsters, which i also bought, are HUGE, and cover my 9mo. old baby to almost past his diapers. i was reluctant to buy Bibsters at first, because they seemed such a waste of material being disposable- and i guess they are-- however, they serve a good purpose in that they are extremely light and thin and fully waterproof, so that my super-drooler doesn't get his outfits totally wet like he does with his cloth bibs, which i'm frequently switching out. Bibsters are also very easy to pack into the diaper bag, and i'm never without a bib. i've also been using the big size bibsters on my 2yr old in the car, for random snack spills. these are not really reusable, but i sometimes do use them for 2 meals, depending on how clean they are. The price was right when Amazon grocery had the spend 50 get 10 deal

About an hour after I totally regretted using this stuff, because the smell emanating from her head was making me woozy. It's like plastic-melted marshmallows. Yuck. I took her back to the bath, and washed her hair again - with something else. But the smell from the Method shampoo stuck around for three days after, despite daily baths/hair washings.
So, I found myself thinking, why would anyone use a smell like this? Isn't there something 'wrong' with a smell that can't be washed away? And this is my biggest gripe of all: Method suggests with the name "Squeaky Green" that you might be doing something good for both the environment and your child by buying and using this product. But if the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep Database is any evidence, this is not so.
Fragrances notoriously contain bad ingredients, like phthalates. You know, the stuff you're trying to avoid in your toys? Now, you can apply it in a difficult to remove form.... directly to your child's skin!
There are a number of other ingredients in this baby shampoo that have known neurotoxic and immunological effects, others have concerns with heavy metal and pesticide contamination, and organ system toxicity.
I resent Method's greenwashing with this product, particularly when it is aimed at the most vulnerable of targets: babies.
There are an increasing number of baby products out there which are considered to contain safe - or at least safer - ingredients. And if you balk at fragrance-free options, there are products scented with essential oils and extracts, natural ingredients. I've tried a number of them and they are pleasant, but not pervasively stinky. I will never again buy a product for my children without researching the claims made on the packaging.

now the bad--I understand that this is not a leak proof sippy cup. I didn't want a leak proof sippy. I keep reading about oral development and I am going with sippy cups without valves. that said, this sippy leaks so much! I put the milk in the cup, close it up, put the cap on, and put it upright in the pocket in the diaper bag. the diaper bag stays upright and so does the sippy cup. by the time we get to the store or daycare the cap is full of milk and there is a puddle in the diaper bag. none of our other valveless sippy cups leak like this one!
also, it isn't very durable. the orange ring broke after about a month and a half of use. my daughter dropped her sippy cup on the floor, as toddlers often do (either intentionally or unintentionally), and the ring cracked in half. none of our other sippy cups have had this problem and they have all been dropped a lot.

The wire at the top holds the cover so you can see baby while feeding, and the tie around the neck keesp it on instead of fumbling with a blanket. It helps when you want to be little more discreet with breastfeeding, and also helps new breastfeedings moms take time to have baby latch on well. If a woman is comfortable breastfeeding everywhere, this product may not be necessary. For those of us who believe in breastfeeding, but want to be private it is a great product. The Bjorn bib is bigger, cuter,sturdier and the pocket is very sturdy that it holds a lot of spills. But the Bjorn on the other hand does not roll up for travel which this does so it can tuck neatly in a diaper bag. Now that my son is 14 months old he is able to pull of the bjorn bib and throw it in the floor..this is also a major area where the bibbity scores...since it has a button feature the bibs cant be removed by him!! He doesnt even try any more!! These are also more softer than the bjorn which looks like a stiff plate hung down little one's neck!! Other than that these plastic bibs are a must have, easy to wash or wipe down and reuse again again and again! They catch spills too. My son throws up so often that I cant imagine life without these as clean up is a snap. I havent tested or cared about the stain resistant nature...I dont care if the bibs retain stains, after all the clothes he wears are spotless after a meal. As some reviwers suggested they should make them in longer sizes too. Cloth bibs are only for feeding fluids... go ahead and buy a plastic bib for solid feeding...your life will be so much easier.
