Jupiter Is Back In The Nighttime Sky


If youre interested in astronomy then theres a treat in the night sky at the moment. Jupiter, the largest of the planets, is the bright object in the southern sky during the hours of darkness. Jupiter shows a lot of detail on its disk when seen through a typical backyard telescope. Normally featuring two prominent bands, north and south of its equator, the southern band has all but disappeared in recent months.
