A few things I forgot to mention: 1. I GAINED 3
lbs!!! YAY! 2. My friend, her fiance and all of their
families are VERY excited about the new addition and
anxious for him to be home. 3. I've missed YouTube and
my Facebook so much! I was so busy but I am back and
can't wait to see how my own journey progresses!

Underactive thyroid or hypothyroidism needs to be
diagnosed based on Free T3 and Free T4 levels rather
just TSH blood test alone. Antibodies are important in
determining Hashimotos. Synthroid, levothyroxine,
levoxyl are conventional medications that are not
usually effective in low thyroid disorder. Most
effective in hypothyroidism is bio-identical compounded
T3-T4 therapy or natural porcine thyroid as in
Westhroid, Naturthroid or Amour.

Causes of hypothyroidism are Hashimotos, thyroid
cancer, goiter, a general thyroid disorder or result of
thyroid surgery. Hypothyroidism does run in families
and if often misdiagnosed in conventional medicine.
Many people go years with undiagnosed hypothyroidism or
live with an underactive thyroid without getting
thyroid gland treatment. Hypothyroidism is exacerbated
by adrenal insufficiency and low estrogen and low
progesterone levels in menopause.
