The 1968 Dodge Charger

However, the car had some initial problems such it would lift when taking corners in excess of 150 miles per hour. This forced Dodge to impose dealer modifications to the 1966 and 1967 models. After seeing disappointing sales in the 1967 model because of this problem and complaints about some of the features forced the company to revaluate how the new Charger would be designed.

The Dodge Challenger

With the launch of new 2009 Dodge Challenger SE and R/T models in International auto exhibition of New York it captured large market as compared to the former. The challenger R/T has engine capacity of 5.7 liter HEMI V-8 and SE is 3.5 liter V-6 engine. The 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 has 6.1 liter HEMI V-8 engine with five speed automatic auto stick and six speed of manual transmission. The new generation 5.7 liter v-8 has variable- cam timing dual engine with improved power and efficiency. The six speed challenger R/T has a pistol grip shifter, dual exhaust and two bottle resonators of low restriction. The challenger SE has 3.5 liter V-6 with four speed automatic transmission engine, 250 horsepower and 339 N-m of torque.

The Dodge Challenger entered the market in 1971 to give tough competition to its rivals. It is having some unique features which its competitors do not posses.
