I have often pondered on using an anti bark shock collar but have never got round to getting one due to being too afraid of causing my dog unecessary pain to prevent him from doing something that comes naturally to him.

For some strange reason, I have always ended up with dogs that are excessive barkers. These dogs have caused many confrontations between my neighbors, my friends and even my family over the years and to be perfectlty honest, I have never seen any wrong in my dog barking.

There is nothing worse than relaxing at home when the silence is suddenly interupted by an outburst of an unwanted dog bark. It happens to me so often that it becomes a stressful part of my life. I know I am not the only one in this situation and the I was in desperate need to stop my dog barking.

I just could not figure out how to stop him barking. He would bark at just about anything, even trivial things like the weather, rain running down the windows and making a tapping sound as it dripped. I know, it all sounds a little bizarre but the little devil just seemed to thrive on hearing himself bark. No matter what the situation, however trivial, it just became too much for me to handle and I had to seek some immediate help.

I trawled the internet trying to get a solution to help me stop my dog barking. I tried some obedience training as recommended by one website. I took him on long regular walks to try and tire him out as recommended by another website but these methods didn't seem to be having much effect.
