(More customer

with the black/orange band. I received many compliments on it.
Sadly, I lost it about 3 months ago.
When I sat out to find a replacement, I really wanted a watching
with much more functionality (stopwatch) and I could not bear to
purchase another watch with out a backlight.
Enter Timex's Expedition.
The unit is big and bold and has a good weight to it. The wristband
is very comfortable. The looks are really good. The stopwatch is
functional and easy to figure out. Indiglo is invaluable. Props for
the Indiglo night-mode where the watch can be set to glow for 4
seconds when the button is pushed and the night-mode will
automatically turn off in 8 hours.
I love this watch. I left it home once and I missed it sorely.

this watch for my boyfriend in hopes that he would have it for a
very long time. This very handsome watch has me thoroughly
disappointed. It has fallen apart 5 times already. I wanted him to
have a kicka** watch & make it a nice treat for him, but that
it is not the case.

(More customer
reviews)This watch would be perfect if they used a
sratchproof sapphire crystal rather than an easily scratched
mineral crystal. They put sapphires on their Asian Ti models....
Sapphire can only be scratched by sapphire, Ruby, or Diamond.
Mineral can be scratched by almost anything. Mineral is a bit
better shatterproof, but the tradeoff is not worth it considering
most people scratch their crystals rahter than shatter them. The
dial is HUGE and I have to wear it carefully. Having a sapphire
would be much less stressful. Put it this way, you vould drag a
sapphire crystall watch against concrete and it wouldn't scratch
the crystal. Try that with mineral. BTW the sapphire crystal is NOT
that expensive and I have seen them on $300 watches.
That aside, the watch is awesome. The Ecodrive is an awesome
technology. This and Seiko's kinetic is the ONLY quartz I would
buy. I couldn't be bothered with battery changes. I usually stick
to mechanical watches, with focus on Swiss and German, but
Citizen's Eco Drive has earned a place in my collection.
The detail is unbelievable, from the dial to the case and bracelet.
The Titanium is so light and unlike steel it doesn't make my wrist
smell bad when I sweat. My skin must react stinkily with steel
where Titanium is more neutral of a metal. So far the braclet
hasn't scratched either. The Titaniukm carbide coating is so tough
that its all the more shame that they didn't go all out with a
scratch proof sapphire crystal. With that this watch would be
bulletproof.
Maybe when the majority of the American watch buying public learns
the difference between mineral and sapphire and wants to pay a few
dollars more for it things will change.
Other than that a great watch. Solid, Heavy, ecodrive, quartz
accurate yet no battery changes needed. The chrono seconds hand has
a smooth sweep for a quartz. The true seconds hand ticks but its
small in a subdial. The large seconds hand is the stopwatch hand
and that one moves nicely. That is what convinced me to get this
watch. BTW one minor issue for some is that apparently the
chronograph part of the movement is not shock proof, so if you were
timing something and it got jarred badly it could cause the hands
to not realign. The watch has a cleaver "reboot" function but the
manual states that sometimes this doesn't work for the chrono
misalignment due to shock. That shocked me. Citizen should fix
that. The entire movt should be shockproof. So, we have a great
looking sport chrono where the chrono isn't shockproof and the
crystal is easily scratchable.... Fix that, Citizen. I'll pay more
for it, just fix it in these 2100's.
The night time lume glow is great and a nice blue color. This is a
great watch for the price asked. Basically Citizen does this by
putting their Japanese technology into a Chinese manufactured good.
The manufacture is very good. Citizen must oversee the manufacture
in China or Hong Kong. (which also is China)
Citizen's US customer service is top rated bar none. I have dealt
with them and their 5 year warranty is the best in the business.
Buy a Citizen with CONFIDENCE. The Swiss and even Seiko can take a
lesson from Citizen USA.

Eco-Drive Titanium Calibre 2100 Watch
One of the most advanced chronograph watches made by Citizen, the
Eco-Drive Calibre 2100 men's titanium watch also offers stylish
lines that nicely complement both business and casual couture. The
chronograph timing function includes 60-minute, 12-hour, and
independent second-hand subdials, as well as a center sweep
1/5-second hand. It also has a reset button that instantly returns
all the chronograph registers to zero. The watch case and bracelet
band links are made of titanium--which is nearly 50 percent lighter
than steel, but 30 percent stronger. It's also particularly
resistant to salt water corrosion, as well as
hypo-allergenic--perfect for those with metal allergies.
This large, round watch has a thin, flattened bezel with an
exterior tachymeter reading in gray. The patterned dark gray dial
face is accented by black subdials, and it offers white luminous
Dauphine hands (with seconds hand) and a date function at 4
o'clock. The bracelet band is joined by a push-button clasp. Other
features include a screw-back case, screw-down crown, scratch
resistant mineral crystal with anti-reflective coating, and water
resistance to 660 feet (200 meters).
This watch is powered by Citizen's unique Eco-Drive, which absorbs
sunlight and any artificial light through the crystal and dial to
recharge the watch continuously. With regular exposure to light,
the Eco-Drive continuously recharges itself for a lifetime of use.
This watch's Eco-Drive provides a 240-day power reserve, and it can

(More customer
reviews)This is a good watch for an intermediate (my
level) swimmer, cyclist or runner; not too complicated to use, big
and clear numbers, soft resin made straps, big start/pause button
and they are not hard to press, very nice and stylish design, the
alarm is good, but it will not wake you up if you are really tired.
The only complain I have is that it seems to be made for men with
really thick wrists, or maybe mine are just under average. You see,
I have to wear the watch with the pin in the second to last hole in
the strap and even then it doesn't really fit. It is better when
the weather is hot, otherwise it just moves towards my hand all the
time.
Be careful with something, the warranty is void if you don't get it
stamped by the seller. I brought up this issue to Amazon.com and
they contacted the company to make sure the warranty was valid only
with my receipt.
I hope this helps.

(More customer

in the various colorways they've offered recently, but a few
warnings for potential buyers:
- I own this watch in the yellow band/blue face and black
band/orange face. Although the picture may lead you to believe the
face is deep orange, red even, it is a highly saturated picture, as
I've noticed is a G-Shock trend, and it is indeed orange, with the
"SHOCK RESIST" and "G-SHOCK" appearing nearly neon orange. I had
this problem with another G-Shock that was listed online and
appeared as red, but showed up to my door as orange, but at least
the listing for this mentions the "Orange dial". It is a lot more
orange in real life.
- The shiny nature of the band, in this black version and the
yellow version, seems to open it up to more scuffing. For someone
who wears it infrequently and only during moderately active
activities (biking, playing video games, going to the bar), I do
bang it into things and eventually get a scuff that won't clean
off. I have other G-Shocks with matte bands, and they don't show
scuffs this bad even after wearing them very frequently for 9
years, let alone for just a few months. The shiny band is a nice
look that's sure to catch some eyes, but if you wear it frequently,
it's gloss is sure to fade.

(More customer

well with a buttoned down oxford shirt or a golf shirt. The Black
dial with three textured sub-dials and white markings is
complemented by the black leather strap with white stitching.
Because the case is titanium the watch is surprisingly light. Also
I like the fact that the crystal is sapphire instead of mineral
glass giving it added scratch protection. The date window is very
readable and the 24 hour (am/pm) sub-dial is a nice touch. I used
the chronograph feature to do incremental timing of higher speed
bursts during my workout runs and it was very easy to use and the
button were very intuitive. And the best feature of this watch is
the eco-drive technology, basically it never needs a new battery.
Finally I like the fact that Citizen company only builds serious
watches, unlike most other retail watch brands whose makers also
make sunglasses, pocket knifes, t-shirts etc.

(More customer

has taken a beating and kept going. It had a lot of nice features.
The bad part is that the watchband is very non-standard and I
cannot get a replacement even from Casio. But for 15 bucks, which
is what I paid for it, I cannot complain too much. My advice is to
either buy a Casio watch with a standard band, which is what I
replaced this one with, or if you love it just buy a new one, even
if you could find the band it is probably the same price as the
watch anyway.

returning 3 Invicta watches because they wouldn't keep time, I
finally landed on this beauty. Keeps great time and looks great
while doing it. I was hesitant to buy Armitron becuase the name

bling BS watches but it is substantial enough for my wrist. If this

(More customer
reviews)I've already received countless compliments on
this watch. I'm very happy with the purchase. Currently it is
enjoying more wrist time than many of my other watches (including a
very jealous IWC Portuguese). It's my 4th automatic watch so far,
and the first that doesn't have a leather strap. Hand-crafted
mechanical movements are definitely the way to go.
The sailcloth strap turns out to be a good material for diving or
swimming, and also gives the watch an elegant yet casual feel. The
watch is rather heavy, and has a solid presence, as most well built
automatic watches should. Also, I have a very small wrist, but I'm
able to pull off this watch without it looking ridiculous at all. I
should also mention that the strap has a deployant clasp (not sure
if the pictures on amazon show that), which is an added bonus. I
believe the movement to be a Valjoux 7750 - the same as in the IWC
Portuguese Chronograph, as well as many other pieces.
The only complaint I would have is the picture that Baume et
Mercier chose for this watch - it makes the rotating bezel seem
like it has a shine (which it does not), and makes the color of the
roman numerals look more of a yellow/gold color. Keep in mind that
this color is actually the same exact orange as that of the
stitching on the strap as well as the inside of the strap. Look at
the picture of this watch from overstock.com if you would like to
see the watch in its true color. Lastly, as the other reviewer
mentioned, the luminescence isn't that great.
Regardless, I couldn't help but give it 5 stars. It's Swiss made,
has an automatic movement, has a gorgeous face with a very unique
strap, and is listed at a fraction of it's retail price.

(More customer
reviews)I was first drawn to this watch by it's looks
and the fact that it's a Casio. I've had great luck with Casio's
over the years, and the fact that this sported looks I really liked
made it a pretty easy selection ... along with the the great price.
I've had it for several months now and I can say I'm very happy
with it. I'd give it a 5 star rating except for the following
design short falls I think warrant some mention:
1) All watches that feature plastic strap pieces (also sometimes
referred to as resin) will, in time, develop cracks and splits in
them if they are exposed to moisture ... sweat, humidity, water ...
and not dried promptly after exposure. Knowing this, I fail to see
why a mostly metal watch would be made with any such parts. Since
they are bound to fail before the metal parts, this counts for me
as a design flaw.
2) While I love the look and design of this watch and the indiglo
back light, like some other digital watches, I find the location of
the main time numbers to be a bit LOW in the LCD window. Because of
the way LCD displays work, there is a difference in depth between
the upper surface of the watch crystal and the location of the
black numbers. This being the case, if the numbers are located low
in the LCD window (as they are in this watch), when you tip your
wrists to view the dial, if you don't tip it far enough toward
yourself, part of the bottom of the numbers can be obstructed from
view, which, depending on what time it is, can make it hard to tell
the time. This is a common design shortcoming with LCD watches, and
this one is no different. It's not a deal breaker, but it can be
annoying when you casually go to check the time and find you have
to RE-check because your first glance really didn't tell you what
time it was clearly enough to be certain.
All in all a great watch ... light weight, attractive, easy to use,
great glow effect in the dark, well designed buttons ... I can
highly recommend.

(More customer
reviews)Much has been written about this watch as well
as it's cousin, the black 9937. This is an incredible watch and
with the coin edge bezel is strikingly similar not only in looks
but in quality to the rolex submariner which is about 20X the
price. In a way it is a shame they look so much alike since the
quality of this watch should not put it in a "knock- off" category.
There are a couple of variants of this watch out there. The coin
bezel version is a re-release of the original of this watch and it
is the hardest one to fine. (It says "swiss movement" on the bottom
as opposed to "swiss" underneath the invicta logo.)On all versions
the swiss ETA movement is very precise (much better than the
corresponding invicta with the japanese movement- although this too
is a good watch) and the band, bezel, crown, case are of the
highest quality as is the gold plating. I love watches, and I have
been shocked at the value of Invicta watches.

Invicta Men's 9938 Pro Diver
Collection Automatic Diver 23k Gold Plated Watch
You can be a serious diver and still show a bit of style with the
two-tone Invicta Diver stainless steel men's watch (model 9938)
with 23 karat gold-plated highlights. The round, silver watch case
measures 42mm (1.65 inches) wide has a blue unidirectional rotating
bezel with gold markings and gold coined edge highlights. The blue
dial background is accented by large luminous Tritnite hands (with
seconds hand) and dotted dial markers. The stainless steel bracelet
band mixes polished gold-tone and brushed silver links. Other
features include a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, water
resistance to 200 meters, and a date function at 3 o'clock.
Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw
down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common
on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on
such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can
gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To
do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs
open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then
be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel
the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from
the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of
effort or force.
Automatic WatchesAutomatic watches do not operate on batteries.
Automatic watches are made up of about 130 or more parts that work
together to tell time. Automatic movements mark the passage of time
by a series of gear mechanisms, and are wound by the movement of
your wrist as you wear it. The gear train then transmits the power
to the escapement, which distributes the impulses, turning the
balance wheel. The balance wheel is the time regulating organ of a
mechanical watch, which vibrates on a spiral hairspring.
Lengthening or shortening the balance spring makes the balance
wheel go faster or slower to advance or retard the watch. The
travel of the balance wheel from one extreme to the other and back
again is called oscillation. Lastly, automatic movements come in
different types, including movements that are Swiss-made,
Japanese-made, and more. Also referred to as self-winding, watches
with automatic movements utilize kinetic energy, the swinging of
your arm, to provide energy to an oscillating rotor to keep the
watch ticking. They're considered more satisfying to watch
collectors (horologists) because of the engineering artistry that
goes into the hundreds of parts that make up the movement. If you
do not wear an automatic watch consistently (for about 8 to 12
hours a day), you can keep the watch powered with a watch winder (a
great gift for collectors).

Nautica Men's N16532G NST
Chronograph Red Polyurethane Watch
The Nautica Men's NST Chronograph Red Polyurethane Watch N16532G
features classic chronograph styling with a nautical theme.
Surrounding this watch's attractive silver dial is a rotating
stainless steel bezel with engraved minute markers. Protected by a
mineral crystal, the dial features 12 colorful nautical flags that
serve as hour markers, and three subdials at the three, six, and
nine o'clock positions. Other features include a date window
between the four and five o'clock positions, and an orange
polyurethane band that closes with a traditional buckle for a
customized fit. This timepiece is water resistant to 330 feet (100
meters) and relies on Japanese quartz movement.
