We are happy to launch new service, Online Data Modeler. It is web-base database design tool. It offers similar features as DatAdmin Database Versioning, but in nice WEB AJAX-driven interface. Now this service is in testing mode, signing in is possible only in DEV version.

We are happy to introduce version 5.2.6 coming with very expected feature - code completion. Code completion is supported only in Professional edition. Also there is handy feature "Insert SQL join", which inserts joining SQL code generated from information about foreign keys.

Today, new version of DatAdmin, 5.0.7.1 was released. This version contains support for MySQL 5.5.
Also, MySQL 4.0 is not longer officially supported (the reason is, that Oracle ends support of MySQL 4.0 database in ADO.NET provider). If you need to connect to MySQL 4.0, it is further possible using ODBC or using Driver Manager feature (downloading of older MySQL ADO.NET driver is required). DatAdmin has very rich support for third party plugins. Many of standard features of are implemented in plugins. We decided to release plugin to read and write dBase DBF files also with source codes. You can download this plugin in download section.
There is new section in DatAdmin online help system Plugin development, which contain information neccessary to compile and debug DBF plugin.
We are happy to announce, that most recent version of DatAdmin, 5.0.6, definitively supports Oracle database. To connection is required Oracle instant client library (library OCI.DLL), which is not part of DatAdmin distribution.
DatAdmin supports all standard data Oracle types, including migrating table definitions from/to other supported database platforms.
