Following the release of the third film in the ever popular Toy Story series from Pixar, store shelves both on and offline have been burgeoning with a glut of toys featuring Buzz, Woody and the gang. The first thing that surprises most people is the fact that these cute little toys have such a low price tag! Every Sing-a-ma-jig has three modes of play. There is Chatter Mode, Sing Their Own Song Mode or Sing in Harmony Mode. To activate each mode all you have to do is squeeze its left paw the determined amount of times until you find the mode of choice. So for Harmony Mode you may have to press the paw three times to activate it.

Once the mode is chosen just squeeze the cute furry Sing-A-Ma-Jig around its belly area and away you go! The toy is not automatic so will need to continuously press its belly in order for it to work.

Put it in Chatter Mode and when you pump its belly it will chatter away in its own cute language and in its own funny voice.
Put it in Sing My Own Song Mode and when you pump its belly it will begin to sing the song that is assigned to its playlist. Control the pace of the song by how you press the belly.
Put it in Harmony Mode and when you pump its belly it will perfectly harmonize, in a pitch specific to that character, with any other Sing A Ma Jig almost like they are in their own band. The more you collect, the larger the chorus, the better they sound.

The Power Wheels Barbie Jammin Jeep Wrangler – its pink, its Barbie and little girls (and perhaps some boys) seem to absolutely love it! This stylish, durable Jeep is great for kids in the 3 to 5 year old range.
It has a few features which make it just like getting in Mom’s car. It sports real doors which open and close and a storage compartment to store everything the kids need for that long trip round the garden!
A favourite feature of the Barbie Jeep wheels with all the children seems to be the real FM radio, now, I am aware of some instances where the radios don,t pick up stations whilst many others have no difficulty. I would suggest that it could be that your location may have some bearing on the likelihood of getting more than just static noise from the radio.
You will discover that Barbie’s Jammin Jeep has two speeds, it can be set to low – which is capable of reaching 2.5 mph or high when it can get up to an amazing 5 mph which is fairly fast for a 3 year old! However, be for panic sets in. It is possible to lock out the higher speed which is probably a wise choice whilst the youngster is still learning how to steer and manage the jeep properly and for the younger children. There is also the facility for reverse and it has power lock brakes.
Power for all this is generated by a 12 volt battery which I have on authority can be fully charged in only 2 hours using the fast charger, it is also easily removed. It also holds out well for a good few hours of riding. Having a spare fully charged battery is a good idea to avoid the game having to end early!

I have spoken to some parents/grandparents who say that their kid has had no problem with spinning wheels on smooth surfaces etc. whilst others claim, they have had to purchase rubber band coverings for the shiny hard wheels to help get more traction. The good news is, that even those who have had to buy the rubber bands still love the jeep, and once they have been attached to the wheels of the Barbie Jammin Jeep it really can shoot off! – One crafty parent also informed me that black duck tape put round the plastic wheels works equally as well as rubber bands.

Once again Fisher Price have produced a fun, durable and safe to ride, ride on toy with the Power Wheels Barbie Jammin Jeep Wrangler allowing the children to have great fun whilst being to some degree educational too. You perhaps should consider a safety helmet for your child whilst riding on the jeep, it is not completely necessary but a good precaution non the less.

As babies move into Toddlers, seating arrangement need to be made in order to coordinate with their development. Bouncers and swings are not as likely to keep them interested and comfortable due their growing bodies. Although they may probably be able to climb onto the couch or chair, they still do prefer having a spot that is intended just for them. Having a spot intended just for them gives them a safe place to sit as well as will provide some personal space to them.
The Spinmaster Elmo Says Spin Chair has a height of approximately 18 inches at the top of the back of the chair. This is the chair’s highest peak. The bottom of the chair has a rounded bottom and is approximately 16 inches across. The bottom of the chair does have a slight rounded bottom to allow for the chair to spin. The seating area is approximately 6 inches from the bottom. The seating area is also in a circular shape and there is a 10 inch diameter space available. On the back of the chair, a three dimensional image of Elmo appears. His bright wide open eyes are on the top of the chair and the black of his eyes are made with a shiny material. His nose is made a bright orange material that protrudes from the back as well. The mouth area is a flat piece of black material that has been sewn into the back and is in the shape of a smile. The nose and eyes are set high enough on the chair that they are able to act as a head rest. Elmo’s arms reach out to the side of the chair and make of the armrests. The ends of the arms have been given fingers as well. The right thumb of Elmo has a button inside it that activates the sound feature of the chair.
With the exception of the face and bottom, the entire chair has been covered with a furry red material that mimics the texture of Elmo’s hair. The chair has been filled with a foam material making it soft and inviting. Although the chair is made up of different textures, it is all made of a 100% polyester blend. The bottom of the chair is made of a hard plastic material. The battery compartment for the chair is located on the bottom of chair and can be access by unzipping the felt material that is covering it. The zipper runs along the base of the chair. In addition, an off switch can be located on the button if a break from the sounds is needed.
When the Spinmaster Elmo Says Spin Chair has had it’s thumb pressed and the sound feature had been activated, the chair responds with “(giggle) Let’s play Elmo says, Elmo says spin Around.” After a few seconds regardless if the chair is spun around or not, the chair will say “Whee, (giggle) that was fun!” It is assumed that during the brief period during Elmo’s statements, that the toddler will push the chair around. A toddler can easily accomplish this by pushing the chair around with their feet as they are in a sitting position. If a child is standing next to the chair, they are able to spin their chair with their hand as well. As the chair does have a rounded bottom, it will allow for the chair to be pushed back slightly but it would take a significant effort for it to be pushed back far enough that it would turn over.
The Spinmaster Elmo Says Spin Chair is very soft and provides a comfortable sitting area for a toddler. This chair is recommended for children 18 months or older. I would anticipate a child would be interested in this age up through 3-4 years of age depending on their height. A taller child may find it uncomfortable to get up and down from the chair. In order to activate the sound feature, the chair requires 3 AA batteries which are included at the initial purchase. The longevity of the batteries appears to be quite long although it would depend on the amount of use from the toddler. We have not had to change the batteries in 6 months. The chair is surface washable only.
I highly recommend the Spinmaster Elmo Says Spin Chair as it gives a toddler their own personal space and provides a comfortable location for them. It has a cute Elmo design and provides sound features that are interesting for them. The one suggestion I would have for the chair is that they would have provided more variety in the comments made by the chair as it can become tedious after a short while. As the bottom is rounded, if the chair is pushed any direction, it will move slightly in that direction however the edges are flat making it extremely difficult for it to be tipped over. The chair only weighs a few pounds and an adult will not have any difficulty moving it to another location. This chair is good for relaxing with toys but not a ideal for napping.
