(More customer

tried an expensive ultrasonic with a filter but it still produced a
grotesque amount of white dust. I then tried a warm mist unit but
the humidistat did not work at all and the boiling chamber quickly
became caked with mineral deposits that were hard to remove.
The Lasko unit is well designed and built reasonably well for the
money. White dust does not seem to be a problem and the circulation
of the water seems to prevent bacteria growth. It does require
cleaning but they all do.
I have not used it long term, but it seems be a great product in
the two weeks I have used it. The replacement filters are
reasonably priced and available directly from the company (there is
a sticker with their toll free number next to the refill cap which
was thoughtful).
I sent an email to the company with a question and they responded
promptly.
I am giving the unit five stars because it is amazingly hard to
find a humidifier that even approaches acceptability. I was looking
for a humidifier that does not produce white dust, has a
functioning humidistat, and is not a germ factory. This unit seems
to meet the criteria.

just took him to disneyland for the weekend (he is four months
old), and he never complained about being in it, he even slept in
it one night for about 7 hours! It is very plush and smooth and I
LOVE that the front wheel can swivel or stay put. And the handle is
adjustable which is great since my husband is so much taller then I
am. It is simple to manuver. Has all accesories you coulde eveer
need (except the cup holder which doesn't bother me). The part that
I don't like about this is the weight, over 30 lbs! It is difficult
to get up into the back of our suv, and takes up a ton of room
(it's a good thing we got the suv and sold my sentra). It barely
fits in my sisters car truck, and only does so while scraching the
bumper in the process! It has also taken my husband and I a few
months to get the hang of opening and closing it smoothly. The
basket is all but impossible to access if the seat is reclined. If
it weren't for the fact that my son LOVES this stroller and that I
do to once it is out of the car and opened up, I would take it
back. But I am keeping it for those days when I know we are going
to be gone all day and I want Myles to be comfortable. For other
shorter days, I am getting a lightweight stroller that I can just
throw in and go. So if weight and space are not an issue for you, I
would definitly reccommend this stroller! (I also love the fact
that I never see anyone else with it, but always get compliments on
it because it is so unique and different)

(More customer
reviews)I chose to write this review in response to all
the negative ones. My son and I used this stroller as a jogger
(more than 40 miles a week, every week for a year and a half), we
regularly used it on sandy beaches and up and down old, stone
donkey paths, it traveled across the Atlantic with us 5 times on
numerous cars, busses, boats, airline terminals. The thing never
gave in. True, the lower basket is pretty much useless except for
small, light items. The front wheel did from time to time "chatter"
but it always corrected itself. As for the wheels, well, I ended up
replacing all three tires over the course of the year and a half
that we owned it. However, they had seen a lot of miles, so its to
be expected. I did use a regular tire pump to reinflate. Had no
problems with that. I didn't see the adjustment straps as a con. I
didn't feel that they were difficult to manipulate. All things
considered, this was a very good, reliable, true jogging stroller.
It eventually broke at the plastic part where the handle connects
to the stroller itself. It just snapped one day going down the old
donkey path. Given that this thing had been tossed around like I'm
sure it had over the trips back and forth overseas, by the bus
drivers, in and out of the car so many times (we generally never
went anywhere without it) I feel that it was awesome to get the use
out of it that we did. Most importantly, had it not seen so much
wear and tear, I'm certain this would have been the only stroller
we would through the duration of my son's childhood. Now we have
purchased another, different stroller. I decided to give the Joovy
Zoom a try because it has the extended canopy and added rain shield
as part of the purchase price. That is the one thing about the Tike
Tech 360 I would have changed: too small a canopy. I hope the Joovy
Zoom is as durable as this stroller and that we are as satisfied as
we were with the Tike Tech. For the record, I only decided to
purchase the Joovy Zoom to try something different. Its sometimes
nice to change things up. All that said, this is NOT a bad
stroller. Quite a good one for its price, purpose, and
durability.

(More customer
reviews)My 2nd humidifier purchase this week (the first
being a dud and different model - other review up shortly) I'm very
happy with this unit. It did cost more than the other model, but
this one works great! I needed it for my bedroom, plugged it in
filled it up and an hour later the room felt great. I like the
front fill, so no reservoir to take to the sink, lug back and try
to flip in without spilling water.
I noticed a difference the first night using this unit. The wick
filters already do seem a bit dirty after just a few days, so I
will edit my review if need be re: filter changes. The manual says
wicking should be changed 1-2 months depending on water quality,
usage & dust. I have 3 dogs & 3 cats, so we'll see about
the dust factor
Pros: really puts out humditiy. I did use a hydrogemeter to test
it
runs almost 1 1/2 days on low setting before water needs to be
added
easy to set up/use
no mist spray to damage furniture/floors
nice water trickle sound, not loud
unit self-regulates humidity according to levels in room
works well in larger bedrooms/living rooms and still compact
designCons: night light is bright blue, doesn't bother me, but may
bother some
water noise. Again, I like a running water sound, but others may
find it bothersome at night
possible frequent wicking/filter changesA clear winner in my book,
does what it's supposed to do and does it quickly! I've had great
nights sleep since this purchase.

(More customer
reviews)In my quest to replace the fake woodgrain
1970s-vintage Sears whole house humidifier that we've used for
years, I first purchased an EssickAir (Bemis) TD6-710. The unit had
all the looks, size, and features we wanted - a really slick
machine. The only problem was that it was severely
design-flawed.
[...]
There is nothing on the market as sleek-looking as that unit. It's
sad that it is so flawed. The hardware store was gracious to take
it back used and unboxed, and they decided to return all 3 units
they still had back to the manufacturer.
Wal-Mart had the Boston Innovative Products EH-01-342 for $109, so
we picked one up. This unit doesn't have the electronic humidity
meters, out-of-water indicator, or super-easy refill of the
EssickAir, but it is solidly built and so far does not overflow the
water basin like the EssickAir. There are 2 two-gallon containers
in it for water. Each has a handle for ease of carrying. Getting
them out involves removal of a pop-out screen in the back of the
unit, so you don't have the convenience of frontfill. The 3-speed
evaporator fan in typically noisy, even on the lowest setting. Cold
air blows out the front of the unit, making placement of it in the
room a concern of comfort. The unit is taller but narrower that
those boxy larger units, making it a little less invasive. Time
will tell how it fits into our home. I may update this in a few
weeks with further experience.
2-1-07 Update
After using this machine for a little while, one thing I cannot
understand. Why doesn't it have an out-of-water indicator? It seems
crazy that you have to attune your ear to the mild grating noise
that indicates a water refill is necessary. Why put the water pump
through all that excessive wear? Another thing that can be annoying
is the short cycle time. I don't know how the humidity sensor is
set up, but the unit turns on for a few minutes, turns off for a
few minutes, turns on for a few minutes... why not design a delay
in the timing so that it wouldn't be so jarring with all this
cycling? I'm thinking now that a 3-star rating is more appropriate,
although it still beats most of the competition that I have
tried.

(More customer

be molded plastic and it eventually fills up with sediment and then
the unit spills over the top and doesn't pump out the way it did
when new. I've written to DeLonghi to ask for a better filter
system that can be thoroughly cleaned by the consumer without any
tools. Some sort of mini-screw-on filter would be perfect.
Otherwise, it is quite and well-made, but the filter is a poor
design.

(More customer
reviews)We now have two strollers:
The Bugaboo Cameleon bought in 06 and the BabyOrbit 07. I wanted to
buy the Orbit last year but it was not available at the time +
there were no reviews in comparison to all that's been written
about the Bugaboo so we coughed up the coinage and bought a
Cameleon. We received the BabyOrbit 2 months ago and here is the
difference for those who wonder about the two strollers.
Right out of the box the Orbit was dead easy because it was already
pre assembled-no tools- no watching a DVD or reading assembly
instructions.Things we were unsure of were well laid out in the
photo handbook that neatly zips away in the baby seat. We had to
assemble things with the Bug and the line diagrams were a bit
harder to read.
Impressions:
Excitedly, I took Maya out today for a 20 min walk just to try out
the Orbit and compare specs to our Bugaboo Cameleon that is larger
in fold mode going in/out of our trunk. Shannon said naturally
without a thought..."Daddys gonna take you for an orbit"... and it
was a good experience!
Immediately, the Orbit's unexpected strength other than the simple
twist and stroller fold out launch, was the rotating hub. During my
first walk, I must have rotated Maya 15 times; she just loved the
rotating perspectives I was able to show her during our walk
whether is was getting her eyes out of the bright sun light or away
from cold winter breeze, just squeeze and rotate...simple.
With the Bugaboo, while I can with two hands bend over and unclick
the seat locks then lift up and rotate Maya to one other position,
in reality we don't do this very often because..A] the Bugaboo
stroller seat a bit bulky to dead lift/ B] so one should lock the
wheels and be on sure footing with room to rotate before performing
a vertical lift/rotate and relock. This is much dicier if you have
back problems. I don't do the 180 degree flip unless its really
needed[ really windy-rainy or she is crying & bored], as
Shannon is only 5'-1", she would rather not do it period preferring
me rotate Maya.
In the Orbit all this becomes mute as functionality, design and
ease merge to provide more than just the ability to rotate Maya
easily as her field of view becomes a 360 degree perspective at the
snap of a lever.
These new views kept Maya alert, quiet and happy[ she extended her
leg and toes outwards so she could hold onto them throughout our
walk as a sign of real contentment].
The Orbit's rotating hub innovation is truly a big leap in parent /
toddler stroller ease of interaction. For anyone who has ever tried
to strong arm a 20lb baby seat[ie Graco Snugride] into a car will
attest- the task becomes a chore because you need to align the car
seat at a 90 degree to your body[basicaly put the seat in over the
base locking latches then relift over the latches till everything
aligns and then locks inplace. The sideways lifting and fiddling
can be hard on the arms or back.
With the Orbit, the seat goes into the car head first, pull up on
the handle straps to gently guide the seat over the rotating base
hub till unit clicks in place. Once secure the base carries all the
weight as you simply rotate the seat until it locks into the travel
position. If your baby crys or fidgets[especially waking up from a
nap while the car is parked], simply rotate the seat to get easier
access to her. Rotate the seat again when you are ready to take her
out. What we love is this..as the seat rotates in any direction we
can take her in and out from the passenger side or driver side with
ease.
Superior build and wow factor. Being a Dad, I like cool well built
things and the Orbit comes thru! Every detail is so well designed,
I even enjoy using the sliding pod bag because its so easy to load
and unload.
On the Buggaboo, their carry tray is quite awkward when you load
and unload from your car. It doesn't swing free and takes up extra
trunk area unless you unvelcro it from the stroller. If you leave
it on or need more trunk space you need to tip it up but this
causes stuff to fall out of the carry tray. With the Orbit, the pod
is a carry bag that closes up so nothng falls out + it tucks up
neatly when you collapse the unit.
The difference in trunk area between these two stollers side by
side in our 4 door sedan?
The Orbit takes up 1/3 the trunk area and will fold up with a one
handed lever twist= easy. The Cameleon Buggaboo takes up nearly
2/3's our trunk floor area and you need two hands to complete the
fold. Relaunching the Bug is a learning curve. I'm fairly usefull
at gadgets but the ingeniuos frame design of the Bug that allows
different uses is also confusing to unfold. I finally "got it"
after 12-15 launches! The designers would do well color coding the
fold/ up/down direction of the aluminum support arms so novices and
family can figure out how to unlatch it quickly without having to
think or learn the process as it is not intuitive at all.
The Bug is slightly shorter in length so it can turn a bit easier.
The ride of the Bug is softer especially over bumps due in part to
better front wheels. For drivers the Bug ride is more Lexus while
the Orbit more tighter like a BMW.
The Bug comes with a Bassinette which we used a few times. The
Orbit comes with an integrated infant car seat with rock solid all
metal locking base station that installs easily into vehicles with
or with out infant seat latches. This design clearly surpases our
old Graco Snugride in every way except weight. The Orbit infant is
about 4-5 lbs heavier due to the extra padding & lateral
protection. The shape of the shell is like a protective caccoon
around our Maya/ the Graco is more open and exposed.
The Bug provides a bassinette instead of an infant car seat system.
Both strollers have adjustable handles/ the Orbits has a more
natural hand grip but the parking brake system requires two lever
flips to lock as opposed a more convienent single lever on the Bug.
We found the Bugs sun/rain shade a bit difficult to setup but the
Orbit's literally a snap to use or tuck away.
The Orbit's is designed to transport infants and small toddlers
about/ it has a comfortable resting angle but the seat does not
recline like the Bug seat. The Bug is not as effective carrying
infants outside of the bassinette but the seat has more room if
your infant grows beyond 22 lbs. The Seats of both strollers are
comfortable for Maya. As she is 9 mo old and has not outgrown the
Orbit infant seat, we haven't tried the Orbit toddler seat addition
which does recline.
In summary, both strollers are well designed, well built and
without a direct comparison anyone would be tickled pink to own
either stroller. However, after currently using both, I think the
BabyOrbit provides better value in terms of the quality of
materials used, the fit and finish of the details and more user
friendly features in a more compact design. These are just a Dad's
thoughts, if you have other experiences I would love to hear
them.

skin, and this is the only brand of diaper cream I've been able to
use on her. Everything else (including other so-called "natural"
brands) turns her poor skin bright red and exacerbates any diaper
rash.
Just one or two applications are usually enough to clear a rash
right up. And the pump application is so much easier than having to
use a tube and apply by hand. With this stuff I just drizzle a
little on her and close up the diaper; no need to even rub it
in.
The scent is great, too, and doesn't smell medicinal like some
creams. The only downside is trying to find it in the stores!
Thankfully I can get it here at Amazon.com.

ELmo and LOVES cars so I I was very excited to get it set up for
her. However, I soon found out that the cars don't fit properly on
the ramps so they only move an inch or so before you have to give
them another push. It also has a very poorly constructed frame - I
find that the entire garage falls apart easily if moved a lot
(which of course is what kids do). Just walking through the house
makes the garage start talking which is pretty annoying. I inquired
at Fisher Price whether this item was suppose to function this
poorly or if maybe I had gotten a defective model and they couldn't
give me any information on how it was "suppose" to work. I would
definitely suggest finding another garage.

child's face. All the pieces snap right into place and the
instructions are clearly written so parents can get it up and
running in no time. Once the garage is built, kids put the cars on
the elevator platform and pull Oscar's head up. When the elevator
reaches the top, the platform should tip forward, sending the cars
down the ramp. However, instead of in one smooth motion, the Elmo
and Cookie Monster cars require a push or two to get past the first
curve. Another slight drawback parents should note is that the
frame must be handled gently and might not stand up against rough
toddler play. Fun with Sesame Street Not only does this garage have
all of the usual features enjoyed by young racers, it also
incorporates some of Sesame Street's most beloved characters. With
googly eyes and wide grins, the cars are miniature versions of Elmo
and Cookie Monster. Boys and girls can race their cars down the
Cookie speedway ramp or the Ernie car wash ramp, then gas up at the
pump station. And the hose really fits the gas tank! Fun phrases
accompany all the action and generate giggles from the youngsters.
For quiet play, parents can shut the playset off with the on-off
switch on the side. The Test Drive Overall the Giggle N Go is a
great toy for little kids, but some basic design elements could be
improved. For instance, the cars are too wide and instead of
rolling right down the ramp, they need a push to get past the first
curve. The cars also sometimes prematurely roll off the elevator
platform. But once you hear Elmo say, "Time for an oil change," in
his sing-song voice, you will forget about this playset's few
weaknesses. It reaches its target age and engages kids for hours as
they race cars down the ramps again and again. The Giggle N Go
Garage measures 7-3/4 by 19 by 9-1/4 inches and requires three AA
batteries.Pros
