pI buy a lot of old, beaten up and often well past their best by
date shipping containers from a place with a sign on the gate
saying a hrefhttpshippingcontainersforsaleonline.com targetblankfor
sale shipping containersa. The place looks like a small yeard from
the street but once through the gate and past the two chained up
yard dogs, it opens out and runs a few hundred yards in every
direction. This guy takes all the damaged shipping containers he
can find, then sells them to people who want them for storage sheds
and such.ppOf course because he wants a good supply of shipping
containers he has to take all he is offered. Some are beyond repair
or fixing up and these he lets me have for a song. Well, half the
scrap metal rate. He hasnt got a truck to take the things to the
scrap metal dealer but I do. When I finish my day job I check if he
has a unit to go via the cell phone, pick it up and drop it in at
the dealers yard before my next scheduled pick up. I double my
money, he gets scrap metal and the second hand dealer gets to keep
his good arrangement with his suppliers and cover his costs. As
well the environment doesnt have to worry about a coupl eof tons of
rusting shipping container taking up space.p
