If you like Nutella, and your local grocer doesn't carry it (or even if they do, in some cases), this is a very good buy even with shipping costs included. There are a number of reviews for Nutella available on Amazon -- it's a decadently rich chocolate/hazelnut spread that needs no refrigeration, and is wonderful on everything from croissants to graham crackers to fruit. This 6-pack ensures that you'll have plenty on hand! The cost per jar (including the shipping charges) is actually less than my local grocer charges.

My fiance and I are on the HCG protocol and are losing a lot of weight, but really were missing gravy on some of our meats. On HCG you really need to watch fat & calories, so dark meat chicken and turkey are out. White meat can be a bit dry, even when brined. I made a wonderful chicken gravy by heating 2 Cups of organic fat free chicken broth and whisking in 1/2 cup cool broth, mixed with just one teaspoon of Konjac powder. It thickened in no time and my fiance loved it too. The texture is a bit different than using wheat flour, but we got used to it quickly, there is no off-taste and it thickens very nicely. Konjac powder adds no starch & no calories! Its like magic. I have begun using it for stir "fry" sauces and the like and it is really, really good. I can't wait to do konjac angelhair noodles & clam sauce with this powder.

We went gluten free about 2 years ago and about 75% of the baked goods recipes I have tried did not work out in texture or taste. Then I read somewhere about substituting coconut flour for up to 20% of the flour in regular recipes and wondered if it would work for gluten free. It does! It gives more lift to baked goods like muffins, and adds a slight nutty flavor. One thing to be aware of is that it is moisture happy. It soaks up liquid like kitty litter, so adding a little more water or oil or whatever liquid is in the recipe is helpful. It is also helpful to let the baked goods sit a day before consuming. I'm not sure why, but this has been the case with everything I have made. It tastes "eh" the first day, and fabulous the next.

I decided to try Yoplait yogurt and am happy with my decision. A six ounce carton is perfect for that early snack. It is tasty and comes in a variety of flavors. It is relatively low in calories and has all the right ingredients.
Yoplait six ounce yogurt has 6-7 grams of protein, and only 20 carbs. It contains calcium (20% RDA), plus Vitamins A and D.
I have a yogurt every morning and I strongly recommend this product.

When I found them for $2.82 a bag when you purchase a case of 12 I went for it. The taste is great however about a forth of each bag is crumbs. I got a pound of crumbs total out of three bags. Whether this is from shipping or manufacturing I don't know. I won't purchase on line again.

(More customer reviews)Having been raised on the typical late 60s/early 70s diet of sugar, grease and salt, I'm unable to choke down a bowl of tree bark and seaweed at 0-dark-thirty. Healthy as it may be, I am not able to live on nuts and berries and chewy, hard foods. I need a little sugar with my morning meal.
Frosted Mini-Wheats are a nice compromise between eating chocolate cake for breakfast (my favorite) or the other end of the health-conscious spectrum, gnawing on those hideously awful grape nuts (otherwise known and described as bite-size gravel bits).
It was my teenage daughter who first turned me on to these miniwheat cereals. Now I eat them right out of the box like a snack. They're full of fiber, quite tasty and not too hard to chew. Speaking as someone who gave up raw vegetables years ago (due to dental woes), the miniwheats are easy on the teeth and good for the body.
Another plus is the nutritional ratings. Now, I know these vitamins are just sprayed on in a massive chemical shower whilst rolling down the conveyor belt, but hey, vitamins are vitamins. One serving (24 little miniwheats) have 25% RDA of all the good stuff and 90% of your daily iron needs.
Of all the flavors, the plain is my least favorite. But, even this flavor isn't too shabby.

There's so much watery sauce in this product it's tough to find the mini ravioli, which are so small they barely fit anything inside unlike the picture on the outside of the bowl, which makes them look packed with meat.

Kashi's GOLEAN bar in the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie flavor is my latest discovery. The tasty bar really is reminiscent of an oatmeal cookie, with a similar chewy texture. It also offers 13 grams of protein--not as high as some sports-marketed bars, but still very good--and a whopping 6 grams of fiber (more than All Bran bars!). An added bonus is the 10% RDA of Calcium, and finally, like all Kashi products, these bars are made with seven whole grains. Definitely a recommended addition to any healthy diet!

(More customer reviews)I'm not sure why no one seems to like these very much! They are pretty good to us. I haven't had a problem with them falling apart and they're easy to slice for toasting. My son,(who is the one on the GFCF diet), is extremely picky and suspicious of anything new, ate these muffins without hesitating. I sometimes poke a hole in the middle and serve as a 'bagel'. These are a regular staple in our house.

My problem is the third party seller charges way to much for this. You can buy it at super Walmart for about $3.00 (I actually paid $2.36) for the same size.
