(More customer reviews)WE have the Keurig coffee pot but found this little plastic coffee pod holder on amazon.com and also sold on as seen on tv, and it makes using our Keurig so much cheaper to enjoy fresh 1 cup coffee. You just inset the fabric coffee pod in to the holder and brew! Buying the coffee as these pods is sooooo much cheaper than the k-cups! I received 50 pods of coffee for under $17! Timothy's breakfast blend, which is what this is, is wonderful! Will continue to order at this price! Great coffee and very affordable! Highly recommended!!!!

It now takes 2 pods to make a good cup of coffee. They lowered the price per pod and now it takes two pods. Doesn't seem right. I'd rather go back to paying the higher price and back to the very good cup of coffee. I won't buy from them again. I wrote about the problem and never did get an explanation.

(More customer reviews)EXPERIENCE: First of all, I have to say, I am quite impressed with this unit. Some of the features I love about this coffee maker is the fact it comes with two thermal travel mugs which work excellently, even with the tops off! I also like the removable drip trays, and the permanent nylon filters. And as a bonus, it also comes with a mini scoop! Using this coffee makers is really simple.
MAKING COFFEE: Some people like their coffee weak, some like it strong, I have found through personal experience that two scoops of coffee from the mini scoop, will fill the filters up to half way, and I feel that is the perfect amount for me, not too weak, not too strong. The filter bays basically slide outward from the back of the coffee maker, each filter has its own handle so you can pull it out.
Put two whole scoops of coffee into the filters, and replace them back into the machine, and slide the filter bays back into place. Fill the reservoir to the 2-cup level if you are making two cups, or to the 1-cup level if your making one cup. Remember that this coffee maker has the ability to make individual cups of coffee, so if making only one cup, only put coffee in the left side filter basket.
Using the switch on the top, I am able to select weather I want one cup of coffee or two cups of coffee. But even more importantly, if somebody drinks decaf and I drink caffanated, You can make them in their own separate filter baskets, without any unwanted contamination! Even cooler, I can make coffee in the left travel mug, and I can make hot coco or tea in the right travel mug!
REVIEWER ARGUMENTS: I bought this coffee maker on Amazon, so I have been privileged to read all the reviewer arguments. Let me discuss each one...
(The first reviewer stated that the cups were nice but the it splattered all over the place, regardless of how you positioned the cup.)
Sorry, but I had no problem with the coffee maker brewing my coffee into the travel mugs, there is only one way to position the cup, the way it was intended, and there was no liquid all over the place.
(The second reviewer stated that the coffee was never hot, that it was warm at best and didn't stay that way for very long.)
Sorry, but I felt the coffee maker got my coffee nice and hot, so hot infact that it got the outside of the travel mugs more then warm. The coffee was hot, and it stayed that way with the top off for a whole freaking hour! Imagine what the top on would have done? DOUBLE IT!!! Lol
(The third reviewer stated that the product was misleading, that it did not contain two separate brewers in one. He states that he could not do tea in one and coffee in the other. And that the switch did not allow for 1-cup brewing.)
Sorry, but once again, you have to actually own the product before you badmouth it. He obviously didn't know what he was talking about, as the coffee maker does have two separate brewers, and there is a switch to select 1-cup or 2-cup brewing.
(A couple reviewers said that the label on the cup switch was also mislabeled.)
Sorry, but the switch is labeled just fine. When I slide the switch to the 2-cup mark, it makes 2-cups. When I slide it to the 1-cup mark, it makes 1-cup. This is not rocket science, but maybe some people should read the manual that comes with the coffee maker?
CONCLUSION: Like all coffee makers, this one is made out of plastic, but it is a very shinny plastic. Black in color with a crème colored reservoir tank window. I feel that this coffee maker is sleek in design, looks nice, and who doesn't love the travel mugs! When a coffee maker can brew your coffee in 5-minutes or less, that's when you say YES MAM! Do I like this coffee maker, why yes I do, and I give it a 5 out of 5!

(More customer reviews)I bought this because I wanted something with a small profile that was totally leakproof and vacumn insulated. We all know the quality of vacumn insulation varies widely, so that remained a question mark until my mugs arrived. They literally do not let heat or cold escape, and will keep your coffee piping hot for hours, and your iced drink cold for longer than immaginable. I have tilted it, laid it on it's side, put scalding hot beverage in it and then put ice cubes in and it simply does not leak. At something just short of 7" tall it takes up very little room in a backpack or purse. There is little storage area under the top of the cap, which is big enough to hold a packet of sugar or splenda for your next hot cup. I love the fact that it takes regular size ice cubes with no problem fitting them through the opening.

Nescafe Dolce Gusto Melody II Single Serve Coffee Machine Review

(More customer reviews)I got this as a Christmas gift for my wife. So far we've only tried the latte macciato and the hot chocolate (cocochino) flavors but she likes both of them. The machine is easy enough to use, although an auto shut off option may be worth the extra money (the creativa model has this option). As it is you have to decide when to turn off the machine so you have that control over the strength of the coffee but its hard to get the reccommended amount. The only complaint I have is that amazon says:
"Everything you need to make a hot or cold drink is contained in our easy to use capsules, your new system come with a variety box of 16 capsules, a cappuccino cup and saucer, and a latte macchiato glass mug"
Which is partly true because I got the variety box but I didn't get the cappuccino cup, saucer or latte macciato glass mug. I didn't lower my rating since this has no effect on the coffee maker but I wouldn't have paid what I did if I knew I wouldn't be getting these items. I think its an error on Amazon's part and not a missing item because the box did not mention the cup, saucer or mug being included. I will update my review after I hear back from Amazon on the issue.
UPDATE: Amazon took care of the problem for me, hopefully they start shipping with the mugs for everyone else or they take it off the description.

How It Works
NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® machines heat water, which is passed at high pressure - a maximum of 15 bars -into the coffee cup through a capsule of high-quality NESCAFÉ® roast and ground coffee. The coffee that is used in the capsules is made of premium 100% Arabica beans.

(More customer reviews)I only drink decaf, and I have tried about a half dozen types of pods. I like a medium to dark roast and prefer a robust cup of coffee with lots of flavor. These are HANDS-DOWN my favorite!! Not only is the flavor the *absolute best* I have encountered (even better than my favorite Sumatra at St*rbucks), but these beefy pods make a FULL mug of Joe! (Fratello just makes a full mug--the two cup setting on the Senseo. These Timothy's pods require the larger pod holder and can go a little beyond the two-cup setting before having to be thrown out!)
I hesitate to share this with you all, because I want to have LOTS of this coffee for myself. So maybe you should just try one small order for yourself. Make sure you like it. Drink it slowly. Leave lots for me. ;)
PS: I'm much better now at cramming one Timothy's pod into my single pod holder for my Senseo. If you can do that, you'll end up with a consistently AWESOME cup of coffee!!

Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Travel Mugs (Contigo 2 Pack Blue/Indigo and Green) Review

(More customer reviews)I like that this mug does not leak and keeps my coffee warm. I fill it up around 8:30am and my coffee is still hot when I take my last sip around 11:00am. However, the lid is soooo difficult to clean. There are too many nooks and crannies for my soy milk to leave residue. I have tried small brushes and folded paper towel corners to get in the crevices. If you do not clean it properly, a horrible mildew smell develops very quickly (within 48 hours). Once the mildew smell appears, the only way to clean it is by putting it in a container with rock salt and rubbing alcohol(and shaking it around).
As long as I spent 10 minutes in the breakroom to keep it clean, I like how it works. If they come out with a version that has a simple to clean lid, I will buy it in a second! :)

Thermos Sipp 16-Ounce Vacuum-Insulated Travel Tumbler, Stainless Steel Review

(More customer reviews)I noticed that this was coming out when I was shopping for mugs a couple of months ago, so I kept checking back until it was released, and I'm glad I did. I had ended up with the Contigo mug before, which was OK, but I never really liked the styling. This mug is at least as good as the Contigo, and is able to be completely disassembled, so those that were worried about the build up in the mechanisms of the Contigo don't need to have that concern here.
Really the only downside of this mug is that to fit the disassembling seals, it is a couple inches taller than most mugs are, being only slightly shorter than an average 20 oz. bottle. The size doesn't bother me, and the sealing mechanism is good enough that even with the mug in the open position (you press down on the middle button, and it will snap in an open position) I'm still almost burning my tongue on my coffee 2 hours later.
