American stage and screen actor Christopher Walken has appeared in more than 100 movies and television shows during his career. These include Annie Hall, The Deer Hunter, The Prophecy, The Dogs of War, Sleepy Hollow, Brainstorm, The Dead Zone, A View to a Kill, At Close Range, King of New York, True Romance, Catch Me If You Can, Pulp Fiction, and Hairspray. He is also known for incorporating dance moves into his performances and has acted in music videos for musicians like Madonna, Journey, Skid Row and Fatboy Slim.
Christopher Walken is considered hugely successful and over the years his films have made over 1.8 billion in the United States alone. During his career, Christopher Walken has flexed his acting muscles by playing lead roles in Shakespeare plays like Hamlet, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, and Coriolanus. Another one of Christopher Walken’s most remembered appearances is as a guest-host of Saturday Night Live. He has hosted the show seven times.

Christopher Walken was named Ronald Walken Named after actor Ronald Colman. His mother was Rosalie, a Scottish immigrant from Glasgow, and his father, Paul was from Germany. While Paul ran “Walken’s Bakery” in Astoria, Ronnie and his brothers were more inclined towards their mother’s preference for stardom and acted on television in the 1950s.
As his career took off post college, Christopher Walken then still known as Ronnie Walked did numerous roles in numerous anthology series and variety shows. He was also hired for a regular role in ‘The Wonderful John Acton’ show as the show’s narrator. Christopher Walken also did numerous stage shows during this time. It was in 1964 that Ronnie Walken changed his name to Christopher Walken after a friend suggested the name suited him better.

The Prophecy Series Unveiled
Actor Christopher Walken has acted in The Prophecy 1, 2 and 3. The Prophecy 1 opens with the line by Thomas Dagett that while “Some people lose their faith because Heaven shows them too little, how many people lose their faith because Heaven showed them too much?” The main character Daggett almost took orders and became a priest but ended up as a cop instead. Now both his callings collide when he is confronted by a weird, eyeless, hermaphroditic corpse. Next thing you know, Dagett is bang in the center of a heavenly war that comprises gore, blood, charred flesh, living corpses and worse. And he has to pit himself against Angel Gabriel who is after an American Indian child. And Gabriel, played by Christopher Walken proves to be a formidable enemy who will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and this includes bringing the dead back to life.
The sequel to Prohecy 1 is The Prophecy II which was released in 1998. In this film Christopher Walken reprises his role as Gabriel. Gabriel comes back to Earth to stop a child born of an angel and a human woman from being born. Other actors in The Prophecy II include Glenn Danzig, Eric Roberts, Jennifer Beals, and Brittany Murphy.
In The Prophecy 3, The Ascent, Christopher Walken is back as Gabriel. But a different Gabriel who has seen the havoc he has wreaked and is penitemt. His new mission is to guide Danyael, who was successfully born in the previous film, to fulfil his destiny as a saviour of man.
Another film in the series The Prophecy: Uprising did not star Christoher Walken and was not well received in the Box Office. The The Prophecy: Forsaken continues The Prophecy saga but was released straight to DVD.

Untangling the Plot of Suicide Kings
Suicide Kings, starring Christopher Walken, is a little
complicated to understand because it moves in a non -linear
fashion. The movie starts with Charlie Barret (Christopher
Walken) going to his private table at a restaurant to find it
occupied by three young men. He reluctantly agrees to go
clubbing with them. Through shifts in the scene, we learn that
the kids plan to kidnap Christopher Walken’s character by
giving him some chloroform.
When Christopher Walken’s character comes to, it is to find
himself surrounded by his three friends of the night and a
fourth friend. As the story progresses we learn that
Christopher Walken’s character is a reformed mob figure.
In Suicide Kings, the boys reason for kidnapping Christopher
Walken’s character are revealed. It seems that one of their
sisters has been kidnapped and a $2 million ransom is being
demanded for her safe release. As the young kidnappers feel
that Christopher Walken’s character would be able to get hold
of the money they want his help. To ensure they get his
co-operation, they show Christopher Walken’s character his cut
off Pinkie. They want him to help them immediately so that
Christopher Walken’s character can get his finger sewed back on
in good time.
Though Christopher Walken’s character gets angry he does
eventually decide to come to the rescue of his young
kidnappers. But the main reason that he does so is because his
blood does not clot and the injury to his little finger could
actually lead to his death. Now that Christopher Walken’s
character is in the plot, he immerses himself in helping the
kids but finds that things aren’t exactly what they seem. Watch
