(More customer reviews)This is my third West Bend Slow Cooker in 20 years. I got rid of my oldest one and now have two I use regularly. I ordered this one because it had a carrier tote; I take my slow cooker with me to covered-dish dinners and church socials. This is a nice extra feature, but I would have bought a West Bend anyway; I like the adjustable heat-not just high, medium and low. I use my slow cookers to thaw and reheat frozen foods,cook turkey breasts, and make soups.You can put ingredients in the cooker in the morning and come home to a hot dinner. This is a good product, easy to clean and can be used on the stove top or even in the freezer. I highly recommend it.

Handles just long enough to get the job done without burning yourself.
I don't think I would put them in the dishwasher though, unless I had left them out and forgotten about 'em and they were really filthy.
The fork could be a tiny bit smaller, but overall this is a great set!
UPDATE: After using them for a couple months, the turnover broke right through the handle, just 'cause it got stuck in the grid. It didn't take any force at all to split the wood. And NO I didn't wash them in the dishwasher.

(More customer reviews)the porcelain bars that came with the unit are first to corrode and disintegrate. I'm willing to give stainless steel a try at this price. they are pretty thin metal though and imagine they will have a finite life as well. In just a couple weeks they are blackened and not shiny anymore. If they hold up for a couple of years that would be great. There is a thicker version, but I am not sure it is worth the extra bucks. I can see the importance of these as they protect the burner holes from getting mucked up. Before I put these in I wire brushed the burner tube to make sure all of the openings were clear.

(More customer reviews)I puchased the Vic Firth Pump and Grind pepper mill as a gift for my mother, who frequently asks for fresh ground pepper at restaurants that do not have it available. It fits perfectly into this holster, and the item seems to be of high quality material that should last (hence the 4 star rating). When making the purchase, however, I was hoping that the item would prevent pepper from spilling out of the grinder into her purse. Unfortunately there is a hole in the bottom middle fo the holster, and it will therefore not prevent the spilling of pepper out of the mill into my poor mom's purse. While this is clear now that I look more carefully at the picture, I wanted to mention it so that others do not make the same mistake.

(More customer reviews)We have two grilltenders and we use them whenever we have hot food to keep warm; they are lovely on the table and make an elegant conversation piece as well as doing a great job of keeping whatever we choose warm. We grilled game hens the other night and put them under the grilltender. While we had our salad, they waited on the table and when uncovered, they were piping hot, too hot to touch yet after 30 minutes. The resting makes the meat more tender and we are delighted to find a lovely way to make a great meal even better. WE would not be without them. We do use foil just to keep the gril tender clean; but we have washed one of them and it looks great.

(More customer reviews)I don't have any complaints about this product. It's just a brush and it does the job. I bought it to remove crumbs from the waffle iron after I make waffles. The handle is a lot longer than I expected, so if you need a good grilling brush, this should work well. I have to say, it's a lot better than the silicone ones. I bought a silicone one and put it in the dishwasher and it came out with the bristles all squashed up. I think the bristles like the ones in this brush are the way to go. It's a good brush.

However when I received the package, there is a sticker on the box saying
that the drip tray is not included. I was very disappointed.

(More customer reviews)I bought this to use on my Bubba Keg grill to season the cast iron grate. I coat the grate with lard, and then use the brush to reapply lard about once an hour. The silicone head allows me to heat up the head (by closing it in the grill) and then run it over the lard, this melts the lard and makes it easy to brush the grill grate and apply coat after coat, no worries of the head melting or burning, i would never try that with a mop or paint brush style head BBQ brush. The silicone head also allows for easy clean up, since I do not cook with lard and only use it for seasoning my cast iron, i do not want it on my food, the silicone head allows me to wash it and be ready for basting in minutes, any other style head, i would most likely throw in the garbage and never even try to get the lard out.
