(More customer reviews)We wanted Tungsten because its hard to scratch and ruin and in my fiances line of work ANY other metal would easily get destroyed and be a waste of money...He hasn't worn it to work yet because the weddings not until November, but he can't stop wearing it at home! He did NOT want to wear a ring, he is very anti guys wearing jewelery and he LOVES this ring. Also, it almost looks the same as my 14k white gold ring. Some of the other tungstens are darker in color but this one is only slightly off so we can still match. Oh, and if you look at jewelery stores for tungsten, they are much more expensive (in the hundreds) but they are the same ring or at the very least, the same quality.

This ring looks great, much better than the plain white gold band. It is very durable as well, my hubby is an electrician and we own horses so he is always working with his hands in one way or another, so far this ring still looks great! When I went to try and find a wedding band that matched, I was told by two different jewelers that: 1) The stone is not anchored into the ring, which needs to be fixed, and 2) IT IS STERLING SILVER. It does not match any white gold rings because it is not white gold. I have had mine for five months and it is already very scratched up. I loved this ring for its simplicity but am utterly disappointed at the dishonesty of the company and will be helping my fiance pursue a refund for the price difference.

I replaced my wedding ring with this one simply because I had heard so many good things about tungsten carbide. I am active outdoors, and when I knew that I would be doing activities that may harm my wedding ring, I just didn't wear it. To put this ring to the test, wore it when I went deep sea fishing. I was so hard on this ring, but it did not scratch, did not dent, and stayed just as shiny as when I first opened the package.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about this ring. It is inexpensive, pretty, resilient, and very comfortable. I highly recommend it!

I was blown away by how great looking this one was when I opened the box. Its heavy, comfotable, and the combo polish/matte finish with grooves really gives it a masculine feel. I haven't had it long enough to truly comment on it's resistance to scratching but tungsten in general has a great reputation for being nearly scratchprrof. I've seen 10K with 1/10 ct. at $99.99, and 10k with 1/4 ct. at $199 and 14k with 1/4 ct at $299. The first two rings I've seen at retail shops.. didn't look good. Diamond on $99 ring was too yellow, and diamond on $199 ring was too cloudy. Then I saw this ring at amazon.com, there was 20% promotion (I bought this at $119.20# and I still had some time, so I thought I would try... If I didn't like it, then I was gonna return it and just buy $299 ring. My expectation was very low...
I got this ring today... I was speechless... It really was beyond my expectation. Diamond is shiny and sparkling. This ring doesn't look cheap at all. This ring looks just as good as $299 ring that I was gonna buy.... or even better..... I am completely satisfied...
In addition, MontRed customer service was great, too. The ring was supposed to be shipped by yesterday, but I didn't get it. So I called customer service to cancel the order. #Like I said my expectation was low.. ) But then this really kind customer service guy apologized to me saying there was defect on my ring, so they had to make a new ring. He said he would ship it overnight so that I could get it today. Well... You can always make a mistake when you do the business, but I think what really makes difference is how to handle it. And they did really good job, and I am really glad I didn't cancel the ring.

(More customer reviews)First of all. A disclaimer. I wouldn't complain at all, except for the high price of gold and gold jewelry. This piece is labelled on amazon as weighing 0.7 grams, or it did when I purchased the item. I have pictures showing the bag the toe ring came in with the ring in it, and the screen of amazon showing the 0.7 weight. The bag clearly says 0.6gms on it. Digital scales seem to agree. I contacted the seller about the issue, and they refuse to respond.
Otherwise, the toe ring is nice, it's just not the weight stated. Any time you're buying jewelry (gold OR diamonds) weight and purity are very important. And so is correctly representing your products.
