Corn Syrup-Free Pancake Syrup

A little experimentation led to this family favorite. This is a less expensive alternative to ready-made pancake syrup that tastes similar and has no corn syrup. Easy to make, too! (When it's completely cooled, I pour it into the empty container from Eggo syrup, which has a no-drip spout.) -- posted by HealthyCheapskate

Crock Pot Italian Hoagies

A wonderful recipe from The Big Red Kitchen. A large 6 quart oval crock pot is required, but may, also, be baked in a low oven until the cheese is melted and sandwich is heated through. Good for shopping days, Mardi Gras, etc. -- posted by gailanng

Szechuan Noodles (Raw Vegan)

This incredible recipe was nabbed from the Barefoot Contessa and modified by myself to make it truly raw vegan. There are a lot of ingredients, but the outcome is spectacular! -- posted by Sweet Tortellini

Basic French Macarons

It's crispy. It's delicate. It's a mouthful of heaven's worth. It's a special treat that's made just for you! I got this recipe from yumsugar.com, and this is a reliable recipe. Enjoy and have fun! -- posted by marshmallow dude

Dilly Cucumber Dip

This light and refreshing recipe comes together in under 5 minutes and is great during the summer months! I used it as an accompaniment for kotlet (Persian meat-potato patties), although it also goes great as a veggie dip, alternative to tartar sauce, or off the spoon! NOTE: I eyeballed the quantities when I came up with the recipe, so amounts may need to be adjusted a bit to taste. -- posted by Sephardi Kitchen

Crazy Taco Salad

I received this recipe from my sis in law at my bridal shower 28 years ago. It's still a favorite, at pot lucks and at home for dinner on a hot summer day. It's crazy because the dressing for the Taco salad is - Italian, but nothing else will do. We've also tried other beans, has to Ranch style. You'll get rave reviews. -- posted by kat812

Brookwood Grill's Peach Cobbler

Unlike many traditional cobblers, the thickener is cooked on the stove, then added to the peaches. The cobbler can be refrigerated after baking and single servings can be reheated in the microwave right before serving. -- posted by Ceezie

Heavenly Tiramisu (The Real Thing! in Its Original Version!)

Got this recipe from all recipes.com. All the reviews say it's good, so I was tempted to try. And sure enough... This was the best tiramisu I've had. Authentic italian taste! Tip: don't serve right away; it will taste blah. Refrigerate it so the flavors will blend! (I prefer it to be stored overnight.) -- posted by marshmallow dude

Best Ever Chocolate Pie – With Seven Minute Frosting

This chocolate pie is topped with 7 minute frosting. So much better than meringue !!! It is amazing. My Keno group ordered chocolate pie at a restaurant and they told us they used 7 minute frosting on top of the pie. I had to try it and it is delicious !!! -- posted by Carol's Mistletoe Kitchen

Super Easy Horchata

In high school I wanted to make horchata, and so my mom taught me how to make it. Never did I think it was so easy. Of course we did it the easy way, and the ingredients can be easily adjusted to taste. -- posted by kmariem4

Vichyssoise (Potato-Leek) Bread

Vichyssoise is a potato leek soup puree that is usually eaten chilled but is delicious hot or cold. Since the ingredients (potatoes, leeks, onions) are all good in bread, I combine them here to make two loaves . I like it a lot and hope you do too. To make the bread, first you make the soup. -- posted by Red Apple Guy
