I stumbled upon my passion out of necessity. My first home purchase was simply a house that I could afford. Being located on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, a desirable area, meant that I had to purchase a fixer-upper. I had done some small remodeling projects with my father growing up, but this home remodel was something larger than I'd ever tackled before. Through research, trial by error, and learn-by-doing, I have now become pretty proficient in home remodeling, home restoration, and home redecorating - and I love doing it! This is how it all came about...
