Good Conversations for the First Date

In order to bond with a girl on the first date, it is important that you have a pleasant conversation with her. The last thing you want to do is come off as boring, or suffer from uncomfortable silences in between different branches of your conversation. Therefore it's best to have an idea of what you want to talk about on your first date. This article will give you a few ideas to get you going down the right path. Whatever you do, do not talk about the usual boring stuff like you're your job, finances, or political beliefs during your first date. It's just boring and not appropriate to build attraction.

A great topic to discuss with any girl is what she likes what she likes and doesn't like. Girls can go on forever talking about things they are passionate about. Once you find out that passion, milk it by asking related questions to get her to continue talking. This is a great way to not only learn about what your girl is really interested in, but it's a great way for you to sit back, and have her fall into the comfort zone of being able to talk to you, and feel like you're listening.

Another great topic of conversation is pop-culture. You know the trashy stuff they write about in the tabloid magazines you see if that checkout counter at the market. Such as what celebrity is divorcing another celebrity, or which one had a wardrobe malfunction, or just looked fat in some celebrity photo shoot. Trashy celebrity gossip like who's going to jail this week like Lindsay Lohan can be a great thing to talk about with almost any girl. They seem to love this type of drama. So do yourself a favor and subscribe to one of those celebrity magazines, and read it a weekly just to know enough to be able to have a conversation with the girl on what celebrity was arrested for drunk driving the week before. You get the point.

Finally one thing that every girl likes to talk about is her dreams and ambitions. Talking about the future together can be a very bonding. Get her to reveal where she sees herself in five, 10, 15 years. Ask her where she wants to end up in life. Find out what she wants out of life, and what drives her. Getting a girl to talk about her dreams and passions in life is often something she'll be happy to discuss for quite a while. Be a good listener, and generally listen to everything she has to say. You really don't have to do much talking at all once you get her going.

In closing I will say one thing, it is very important to be polite. Do not talk about sex, or tell her any type of dirty jokes, unless she brings it up first. Try to be on your best behavior, and keep the conversation interesting all of the time. If the conversation is ever boring or awkward, then be sure to change topics immediately.
