The Bible presents an amazing picture of deception and deceit, a picture which presents Satan, the fallen Angel, exhibiting his power via beings that have chosen to have spiritual intercourse with him. Such is the power that he has promised to those who will worship him, that they would literally be controllers of the world. Of course this is only as far as the creator, God, will allow.

The biblical book of Matthew presents an interesting narrative. In the fourth chapter of Matthew we read the following:

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Understanding The Spiritual Element

Here we are shown how those who have chosen to access the powers of darkness can do so. We are also shown the extent of the power that they have been promised. However, the astonishing fact is they must worship Satan to be the recipients of this power. It is against this backdrop that we must understand the series that I am writing here.

I realize that there are many people who do not believe in spiritual realities; however unbelief does not necessarily change reality. Moreover I also realize that there are many people who find it incredibly difficult to believe that there are people who really want to take over the world, and that these people would do virtually anything to bring this about. That anything also includes communication with the powers of darkness.

It is interesting to note that in the narrative of Matthew chapter 4, Satan acknowledged that he was not or is not the originator of the wealth of the earth. However, he does claim to have the power now give it to whosoever he will, and as far as he is concerned the prerequisites of obtaining these gifts, is to bow down and worship him.

Application To Today

Bible prophecy indeed paints a picture wherein near the end of the world as we know it,men and women will seek to carry out their goals of taking over the earth. The biblical book of Revelation warns that Satan will exercise his power over three major components and thus influence and control the direction of the entire world.

3 Major Components By Which To Control The World

We are told in the book of Revelation that there will be complete control of the religious, the social, and the economic elements of world society. The control of the religious or spiritual as well as the social and economic elements of society in all parts of the world cannot but lead to a situation of ultimate and complete control!

What will be seen in this series however, is that those who wish to control the world must do so by the power of sorcery and communication with demons. Moreover, they must employ the power of sorcery to create a false reality that the inhabitants of the earth will be unable to realize just what is going on until it’s too late. Therefore, the prophet, John, in the book of Revelation warned us declaring:
