Photography has been a passion of mine for several years. For a
long time I've been getting by with my Nikon D50. But despite the
great photos I've managed to shoot using the D50, I started to feel
like it had its limitations, and I wanted to upgrade to something
better. But things like this can be a bit overwhelming. There is
such a large number of high end DSLRs; it's easy to get confused
when trying to decide which one to get. So I though it would be a
good idea to set about researching all the top professional digital
SLRs.
After doing a bit of research, the Canon EOS 7D was obviously the
better camera. I decided I wanted to gather as much information as
possible, so that I could be sure that it really was the best of
its kind. I then thught it would be a good idea to put all this
great information about the EOS 7D and put it on a website where
other people could read it too. It would be great if other people
were able to get the benefit of my thorough research This is why I
wrote this product review. I'm hoping that this article gives you
all the information your need, and that once you have finished
reading it, you will be able to decide whether the Canon EOS 7D is
the right digital SLR camera for you
Get Great Shots In Difficult Lighting!
When shooting in low light scenes, the EOS 7D definitely comes out
on top. This is mostly because of the very wide ISO range. The ISO
range determines the camera's ability to handle different amounts
of light. Most digital SLRs only go up as far as 1,600 or 3,200.
The Canon EOS 7D can go from 100 to 6,400m but can even be extended
up as far as 12,800! Shooting in dark places will never be a
problem again.
The EOS 7D Makes Easy Work Of Fast Changing Scenes!
If you like shooting fast scenes such as animals or sport, the EOS
7D won't disappoint you. This is all down to its ability to shoot
at 8 fps for up to 126 images. So you won't need to worry about
missing that perfect shot.
Camcorder Mode
This camera is about more than just still photography though. If
that's going to be your main use of this camera, than it's still
anamazing camera; but it does do more than that. This camera can
also shoot professional videos. No, there's nothing wrong with your
eyes: PROFESSIONAL QUALITY! It can capture video at 30, 25 or 24
frames per second. You can also choose from two other resolution
sizes: 1280 x 70 or 640 x 480.
There is even an Advanced Movie Mode, which makes this camera a
superb professional movie-making tool, due to the enhanced image
quality, the smooth frame rates, and the adaptie exposure
compensation. This means you can take full control by making use of
manual exposure and selectable frame rates, enabling you to get the
video footage looking exactly how you want.
See Things Exactly As They Are!
You can shoot very accurately with the Canon EOS 7D. This is down
to the Intelligent Viewfinder. This means the viewfinder gives a
totally accurate representation of what the photo will look like.
There is also a 29.4 degree angle of view along with a
user-controlled duoptric adjustment. Also, just by pressing a
button, you can overlay several different viewfinder displays on
the LCD screen. Also, there are much better autofocus points on
this camera. This brings me nicely onto my next point.
