Info:   1959 Gibson Les Paul Special 100% original 59 EX! This genuine 1959, non-reissue Gibson Les Paul Special is 100% original and beautifully preserved. I conservatively rate the condition as very good to excellent (8.5/10). It has the expected finish checking which can be seen in the photos and a few nicks, small dings and light playing wear. The biggest mark is a very shallow semicircular indentation on the top as shown. As is the norm with these models, there are finish cracks near the neck area. These are in the lacquer only - no damage to the wood or neck joint.  The guitar has been professionally inspected and deemed structurally sound by two of the most respected vingage guitar dealers in the midwest.  Inspection included a thorough analysis under ultraviolet (”black”) light.  There was absolutely no overspray, new finish or other indication of any modification or repair.  The original solder joints are intact.  Look at the photos which are recent and not retouched or enhanced in any way. 
The beefy ‘59 profile neck is solid, straight and true and the original frets are very good condition. The action is low and comfortable without buzzing, The finish is very strong with only slight fading.
The best feature of the guitar is it’s absolutely stunning tone! Start with a lightweight piece of premium old-growth mahogany, add a big neck, a thick Brazillian Rosewood fretboard, a pair of brilliant P-90 pickups, and basic high quality wiring, pots and switches. Then play and carefully maintain it for for 50 years. The result is spectacular. You can feel this guitar vibrate against your body as you play it. Acoustically it sounds full and loud. It’s just a joy to play.

Info:  The Holy Grail of guitars has been created here. I came across a les paul custom in need of cosmetic help and this was what i did to do this legendary guitar justice. This is a Zakk Wylde Caps and Chains replica that I think is a awsome reproduction. I stripped the guitar, started from scratch with the mahogany back and sides. Then painted flag on front and hand reliced all of front of body. All of hardware was also hand reliced and aged to match rest of guitar. The caps have also been aged for authenticity. The electronics are EMG 81 85 with a EMG wiring harness, installed professionally at Guitar Center Cincinnati. The harness was also purchased through the strore. They loved the guitar at the store. Info:  I purchased this guitar new back in 2004, but have recently purchased quite a bit of lighting equipment so I must sell this and some other musical items (see further below) to help recoup some of my costs.This guitar has been used quite a bit and, as can be expected, does have a “road worn” appearance with some nicks and scratches here and there, which are too hard to photograph without the photo being blurry (similar to the serial # photo) or because of the lighting/glare.  The pickup covers and tailpiece do have some tarnishing (no discoloration) due to various playing environment conditions.  However, the finish is not cracked, nor has the headstock ever been cracked.  The input jack works fine, as does the toggle switch and tone/volume knobs.  The only servicings done were standard guitar set-ups (I use .009’s and standard tuning).  I do have Dunlop straplock buttons on it, but have the original strap buttons too, if needed.  I hate to see this guitar go, but I need the money and it needs to be in the hands of someone who can use it more than myself.I will say, to this guitar’s credit, that the neck on this one is definitely nice and thinner (particularly in the lower frets) than *any* of the newer ‘61 Re-issues I’ve come across in local music stores — and I’ve tested quite a few of these SG’s, trust me.  So in my opinion, that makes this guitar a rare find in this regard.Will ship to lower 48 states only!  Winning bidder to pay $20.00 insured shipping via FedEx Ground.  PayPal accepted only.  Payment must be made within 24 hours after auction ends or item will be re-listed.Please see my other auctions as well, in which I’m also selling my Epiphone Custom Prophecy SG, a Roland SPD-8, a small Mackie mixer and an Alesis SR16 Drum Machine; I may add a few other things as time goes on.Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.  Thanks and good luck! … Click For More Info

Up for auction is a vintage 1972 Gibson ES-335 semi-hollowbody in great condition. This sweet player has amazing tone thanks to the original Pat. No. pickups. There are no splits, cracks or breaks anywhere. There is a professionally repaired headstock crack that was done very well, a long time ago. It is not an issue and is not even noticeable. It has Schaller tuners on it and has also had an amazing pro refret. Everything else is original. This guitar has been my player for some time now and I do hate to part with it. It is solid inside and out and will surely impress anyone who plugs it in. It features a small volute and a 60’s neck profile. The action is low and the frets are in great
